I took my 11 year old nephew camping. It was Too hot during the day to get outside but the cabin was cool and perfect for games. We enjoyed the pool at night. Loved staff and management. Will go back.

Best koa! Clean , peaceful, salt water pool is excellent and the dog park was the best! Our dogs loved it! They ran all over and around the trees. Great spot to stop. We plan to return.

I can't think of one negative thing to say about this KOA. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a nice space and enjoyed our stay here. We stayed six days while attending the state 8 and under softball playoffs so we were in and out quite a bit. There were other campers attending the same event so there were lots of kids enjoying themselves. We would definitely stay again.

Super nice staff, beautiful area. Dated facility needs upgrading. We had to run our generator half the time we were there. We kept losing power & having brown outs. I was concerned that it would damage my RV ACs & other equipment. Sites are narrow & we couldn't put our canopy out until they trimmed over grown foliage, which they did quickly after our request. Honestly the staff made it tolerable.

Facility was very well laid out. Everything was convenient and the grounds were well kept. Staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our stay was wonderful.

Great site. Concrete pad with wrought iron table and umbrella and swing. We had trees to hang our two hammocks from and the kids loved it. It was close to the store, pool, etc. Hosts were very accommodating. They even stayed fifteen minutes after check-in time since we were running a few minutes behind after stopping to get gas.

Always love staying here. The staff is do welcoming. The pool is Great. Our only problem this time was the cable list that was on out sheet had incorrect channels and couldn't get anything on several of the channels listed. We will be Back!

Beautiful park, well layed out, roomy sites, and amenities. Management staff, (Caroline and Bill), are among the nicest I have encountered. A very pleasant experience.

Really nice KOA, not too far off the beaten path. The pool was welcoming, the laundry room worked (the staff even gave me some detergent because the store was closed!) Beautiful dog park, the place was well-kept and a pleasure to stay in.

Every year we host our Family Reunion at the KOA Park. Their facility is perfect and very clean. We love the managers Bill and Pam. They make our family feel so comfortable during our entire weekend event. I have visited many Koa Parks throughout the States and Rusk Koa was one of the best.

An absolute dream! What a peaceful paradise! Clean, well stocked cabin and patio/fire pit area. Pool was crystal clear. We enjoyed the pedal cars and kids shot hoops. Lots of interesting tourist attractions within an hour surrounding the campground. Our hosts and hostesses were so friendly and accommodating. We can’t wait to return!

Upon check-in, we decided to upgrade, but the upgrade didn't include everything it was supposed to. We didn't get any type of discount but I received a letter today saying that next time we stay at that KOA, they would make sure we were taken care of. Isn't that part of KOA's job, anyway? KOA was clean except the pool water needed some TLC.

Very friendly service. Were able to move to a site long enough to allow us to stay hooked up overnight. Hope to visit again on our way through east Texas.

I enjoy coming to the Rusk, TX, KOA at least once a year (for the last 5 years). The pool is great, so are the amenities. Some of the trees could use some pruning.

Very quiet, peaceful campground. All grassy areas were recently mowed and trimmed. Did find the office hours a bit short: 9 - 5, but we worked around that. Yes, we would stay here again.

Quiet campground with nice grounds and amenities. Only negative is they could use larger trashcans, they got filled quickly and overflowed.

We stayed over night. It was our 2nd time. We were in RV, and the area was very clean. We felt safe and comfortable.

Had 2 nights reserved. Used sight one night. Tow vehicle destroyed, wife killed, self injured (hospitalized from tornado second night0. Park management allowed RV to remain on site until I could have it moved. Management charged only for the 2 nights reserved. Nice park. Wish we could have had time to enjoy it.
