Our stay was really awesome—from the first phone call for our reservations—everything was so easy & fun !! The park was immaculate & the staff were the best !! Can’t wait to go back & try out the cabins

Everything was clean and tidy, with plenty of amenities to distract a weary traveler. The walking trails were great to take our daughter on a long hike. Glenn (the assistant manager) is a superstar. Even after delaying his own meal to come and help us clear a blockage in our grey water drain, he tried to assuage our guilt about it by pretending he got out of cooking. Thank you, Glenn, you rock.

Very well maintained, great setting for a campground, Could stock more chocolate in campstore other wise this is a top 5 campground for us.

Check in was easy - cabin was ready for us - even had the heat on! Very nice facilities - especially for summer activities- appeared kid and dog friendly. Very quiet in the winter - just what we needed to decompress!

Another ideal stay at the Rusk camp grounds. Peaceful and relaxing. Friendly and helpful staff. Facility always in immaculate condition. Plenty of historical venues in close proximity. Thanks!

The Rusk KOA was very clean and tidy. We stayed in spot #25. I believe it was the longest as we had enough room for our 35' travel trailer, my 2017 F250, and my brother's 2018 Toyota Tundra all end to end. Also 25 is at the back side of the camp and we only saw two or three vehicles pass us during our two day stay. So, it's quiet and peaceful. The town of Rusk is tiny, so plan to just camp.

We enjoyed staying at the Rusk KOA because it was clean, easy to pull in and set-up, and very quite. Only complaint was the rate was higher than Good Sams parks.

The KL01 cabin was very nice and right with all of our friends in their RVs. Pattie in the office was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The gameroom and kitchen was great with restrooms very close by. The only concern I have was the WiFi was very slow and was difficult getting internet service.

Friendly quick checkin. Very clean and modern bathroom and shower facilities. Really like the individual showers. Every thing was clean and neat in general. Also had free coffee in morning.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The campgrounds were beautiful. Super clean facilities. This was a perfect place to camp with my kids!

Easy to find. Amazing quality mattresses in cabins in full size and bunk beds. Cozy atmosphere in adorable cabins nestled in the forest. Complete with shelves, writing desk, heat, a/c, & coat hooks. Close to well maintained restroom and showers. The showers are all personally enclosed with locks to keep the warm air in the room. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Will return soon!

Stayed there overnight to enjoy the Polar Express in nearby Palestine. The kids enjoyed looking for yellow pine cones so they could receive their reward. Very nice campground.

Cabin was very clean and comfortable. The kids loved the loft area. Kids had fun exploring and using the bikes that they had. Historical areas close. Will be back for sure.

Had a Christmas party at the KOA Clubhouse. Built a fire in a fire pit and spent the night in a cabin. Very nice ......Hope to do it again next year

We love the Rusk KOA and the friendly staff there. We stayed there on our recent trip to N.C. for Thanksgiving and made a special effort to stay there on our way back home. The campground is located in the countryside and it's quiet and serene. We highly recommend this place.

The office help were awesome ! Also maintenance were always out cleaning up the leaves etc. would stay again for sure.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Rusk, TX KOA. The cabins were very cozy and situated perfectly at the edge of quiet woods. The temperature was in the 30's at night but the cabin heaters kept us toasty. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. Hoping to stay there again soon.
