Had a great time. The facilities were wonderful. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Have a suggestion, cabin 06 needs a paring knife and it would be helpful if there was an under the counter light there, either under the microwave or the cupboards with the dishes. Kinda dark in that corner. Will surely recommend it to all I know who camp. We will be back for sure.

Middle of the week during the Pandemic there weren't a lot of campers but still the facilities were super clean and in excellent repair. Short stay and had a good time.

We had a wonderful visit. The cabin we stayed in was great. We did have a lot of ants in the cabin that we had to keep our eyes on. The restrooms and showers were so clean. The staff is friendly. The breakfast on Saturday was amazing! We were so impressed with our visit. It was quiet and not crowded at all. We cannot wait to plan another stay. The kids enjoyed the pool and park area.

Had a wonderful stay. Disappointed that there was no community fireplace as shown on the website and confirmation email. We had planned our meals and s’mores around that. Ended up having to buy everything to start a fire. Would have brought those items had we known.

Nice place. The cabin was more than I thought it would be. Coffeemaker ,dishes,toaster and microwave was a plus. Saves on less packing.

Very nice, secluded, quiet area. The cabin we stayed in was perfect for what our needs were. Grandkids had a blast at the pool and renting the bikes available. Very nice, friendly staff. Looking forward to our next visit, possibly in one of the "tents".

We really enjoyed our relaxing stay. The sheets were very soft and a pleasant surprise! The only thing I would recommend is a dish drainer and a few more kitchen items like a measuring bowl and some better pots/pans. We ended up having to go to the store to buy a pan to cook dinner.

Owners are excellent! Campground are immaculate and beautiful! Cabins very neat and clean. Very nice pool and lots of things for kids to do! Will be back. Loved it.

Stayed in a cabin 3 weekends in a row. Staff is wonderful, facilities are clean, and all 3 stays were perfect. Plan to camp here again in the near future

I stayed in cabin #6. I was surprised to find out that it was 12 years old! I thought it was brand new. I thought it even smelled new. It was very clean, had everything I needed, and the community was very quiet and friendly. It was definitely family friendly and I felt safe and secure while there. I will continue to stay at KOA when I am in Rusk.

Our stay was layed back and very relaxing. The camping cabin had everything we needed, a refrigerator, a tv and microwave.

Our stay was very relaxing. The cabins are in the woods with lots of shade. Bathrooms are clean. Also liked the fact they have fenced dog park where my dog could safely run around and mark multiple trees. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this campground to family and friends. Have already made another reservation for next weekend.

Everything was great, but one of the employees seemed to be a dictator. We had a family gathering and was unloading a p/u with supplies for 25 people. He came and told us the truck needed to be moved to the front. Common sense? We rented 2 cabins and 2 rv spots together. We had plenty of space to park for a few minutes. Also closed the pool an hour early. Rained next day.Kids were disappointed.

We had a very nice stay- the cabin was great, the camp staff were nice, and the park was quiet. We loved the pine trees and the walking paths in the woods. Our dog really enjoyed running around in the fenced dog park.

It's our tradition to go camping during Mother's Day weekend, and we were so glad to discover this KOA. Such a pretty location with great amenities. And we had tons of fun staying in a teepee! Cozy with a gas fire inside and an iron fire pit and picnic table outside. The staff was so friendly and wonderful--they were sweet to give me a yellow rose for Mother's Day. Can't wait to go back!

Spent a night in the cabins and loved it. Grounds very well kept and extremely quiet. Exactly what I needed to unwind bring a nurse in Houston. Will definitely be back.

Overall its a nice park . Things I wished they had 1) more comfortable beds/futon ( bunk beds was better ) . 2) Pond for fishing 3 ) some kind of walking trails Then for the price of one small cabin its expected that the guest clean up even take out the trash, wash dishes and sweep ( I do not agree with that ) not when you can rent a motel for cheaper and not have to clean up .

Managers were great! They were very knowledgable re what the town of Rusk had to offer. Our bed was really loud in and deluxe cabin we loved the dog park area. The site was really clean.

KOA In Rusk Texas is one of the best kept KOA’s we have ever stayed at. Friendly staff that are very accommodating for anything you need. They welcomed us like we were family and made sure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommend and we will definitely return ! Thank you Bill and Pam and Jack and Carol.

Overall, a really nice, quiet place to stay for a couple nights. We got a cabin that was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. I do recommend updating the futon cushion more frequently, or considering a replacement with a hide-a-bed couch--the futon in couch form had a rather worn-out pad that was pretty uncomfortable to sit on.

The new L7 cabin was awesome. My two children and their families shared the cabin. They had a very good time. The kids loved it.

My sisters and I met friends there, who had RV. We stayed in cabin, which was comfortable and very nice. We had the very best time. Park was safe and secure and very quiet at night. During the day, we could hear children enjoying the play area, laughing and playing outside....so very refreshing. Staff was accommodating and friendly. I plan to return.

The staff was great. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The only thing I would change would possibly be the cabin pricing. I'm used to a 1 bedroom cabin on a lake in Washington state for half of what I paid for the Rusk cabin. over all it was a nice stay.
