My grandchildren and I really enjoyed our stay there. The Tee Pee was really special to stay in. The lights, blue tooth speakers, and fire hand warmer inside the tent made it even more cool. We enjoyed the hiking trail there. It is nice that they welcome you to use the wood laying there to build a fire in the fire pit outside too. The people were very nice and helpful.

We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. The staff was super friendly. The kids absolutely loved it & plenty of activities for them to do. Everything was great. The cabin was perfect. We can't wait to stay again.

PROS: Easy check in check out, great location, loved the cabin. Staff so helpful, even brought a charcoal grill to our site. Beautiful view, fun hiking trails. Will definitely be back.. Cons: No storage space with shelves (closet had some but no hangers, maybe under the stair storage?) The smoke alarm was triggered whenever the oven was opened, no smoke just heat.

I would like to give a shout out to the Best Managers and staff at any KOA we have stayed at. The campground was quiet, very clean, nice amenities, so relaxing…and the Thanksgiving Dinner for the campers and staff was very much appreciated, I had never seen so many smiles, and the laughter we heard, was wonderful. Outstanding, never stayed at a KOA that was far enough away from major populations, yet close enough to go to locations in order to see the Texas attractions we came there to see. Very relaxing.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The restrooms and showers are the cleanest of any campground I have visited so far within Texas. Our first time staying at a KOA campground and it won’t be our last. The outside kitchen came in handy for our clean up during our stay.

Our family stayed in the teepee. It was quite and peaceful. The bathhouse/restroom was very clean. The grounds were well maintained. Staff was accommodating. It was a pleasant surprise to find a mini fridge and several electrical outlets in the teepee. Although the teepee states it sleeps up to eight people be prepared for one bed and one futon. We enjoyed our stay, and made great memories!

Kabins were clean and well stocked. Outdoor tables/fire pit were shaded by trees from sun. Store is well stocked. Pool is clean and enjoyable. Staff had everything in order.

The only issues we had with our cabin were the two air conditioners and ceiling fan. The chigo air conditioner could not be turned down past 74 degrees or it would freeze up. If that is the case the unit should be serviced to allow for the unit to work past the posted temperature. The other a/c unit was missing silicone around the frame. You could see from the inside to the outside around the unit

Great customer service at the office! We loved the campground Firework Display on July 3rd. We stayed in Cabin #2. We liked the inside of the cabin a lot but felt the outdoor area (beat up fire pit and picnic table were pretty bad). The similar class of Cabin #3 (for same price) had much better outside amenities. It had a table with 4 chairs, a better fire pit plus a picnic table.

We organized a family reunion and chose Rusk because of the location, never having stayed there before. The facilities and staff are awesome. We have stayed at many KOA's throughout the U.S. and this ranks as the best in terms of facilities. Other than problems with the computer system, our stay was very enjoyable.

we had a family reunion with 30 family members. The staff was great and the facilities were wonderful for the family. There was plenty of things for kids ranging from age 1 to 75... The only complaint would be that their computer system didn't seem to be user friendly for the staff. We are planning another trip back there..

From start to finish, the entire stay was perfect. We really enjoyed the pancake breakfast and hot dog/ hamburger supper. All KOA staff were friendly & welcoming.

Enjoyed the stay except for two things. 1). The bed was to high for a short person and the pillow top mattress sank to the middle and made it hard to move. 2). The bathroom door was hard to close. Forgot to tell you that information when we checked out.

I am not what one would consider a "camper" however had an absolute blast at your KOA Campground in Rusk Texas. The cabin was perfect in every way. From the porch swing to mini fridge - absolutely awesome. The showers and restrooms were close enough to use even late at night. Everything was clean and Saturday's breakfast was such a treat. Looking forward to coming back in a couple months!

We normally stay in our RV. This time we tried the deluxe cabin It was ok the staff was friendly but not as organized as past KOA directors at rusk. It was still a pleasant experience

This is a nice place, clean, with all of the modern amenities that even the most pretentious city dweller would come to expect in any five star resort.
