staff very pleasant always answered any questions with a smile my only negative rented rv instead of tenting no cable and with bad weather was looking for something to do for older people like me should be warned about how thin mattress on bed or bunks are very uncomfortable speed limits both cars and golf carts not enforced maybe $50 day for golf cart senior discount? can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time, despite the rain. There were plenty of rainy day activities for the kids. The river tubing was awesome! We had a blast on our golf cart and the kids enjoyed the playgrounds, pools, mini golf and trampoline! The staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Loved the river and safari tents with linens and towels and coffee maker. Bathrooms were clean. Appreciated being able to stay up late with a fire without a hassle from management. Also loved fire and ice delivery.

My family has been going to this campground for 20 years. When KOA bought it they made some great changes and despite the rain the whole family had a great time. The grounds are clean and people are friendly. We did rent aRV and I will say the beds are very uncomfortable. Mattress is very very thin and it’s like sleeping on a piece of plywood but now we know for next time.

Your the ONLY camp ground that I can't bring my own fire wood. I do live in maine. Also I had to show my dog rabies shot record (really !) It's the LAW in Maine you can't get his license with out it. Your NOT making this amp ground very friendly. BTW been camping for over 30 yrs. And NEVER had any issue, also my dog was wearing both her dog licence and rabies tag.

A large part of what makes the campground a beautiful place is the trees. In order to protect those trees, it has become necessary to have this firewood restriction. Requiring proof of a rabies vaccination is a measure that we feel is necessary to protect all of our guests - human and canine.

we asked to be near the other three tent site parties and were told you were accommodating a bigger party and we wouldnt be able to be next to each other. Then the golf cart key was lost and we called and they told us $25-so kept looking for 10 hours.... then found out it was only $5 and never received a key to finish the time. kids followed by your empoloyees at 945-10. dirty bathrooms

The amenities that it has, such as the pool and rope coarse, are too small for the size of the campground and number of campers. Check in was not very organized, chaos at the counter. Check in line different from line for purchasing store items caused long lines and customer confusion. Map for getting to site was a black and white photocopy and was barely readable. No signs to direct to campsites

Our cabin didn’t have a front porch roof like the others so it was hot to sit outside. It was very busy and loud in our section so I’m not sure we would have wanted to sit outside, honestly. The location was right in front of the bathroom and people were constantly cutting through our site. Our kids liked the pools and the bathroom seemed fairly clean. It was okay overall but not great.

This campground is disgusting! To back up into our campsite was all branches. Unlevel ground made it a pain in the butt to get our camper backed in. And then once we were in, our site was full of stumps and roots. My fiancé ending up busting his ankle on the roots. After we got set up we went to the office to get our golf cart that was “still being cleaned” only to have my 5 year old daughter

Really nice campground with a lot to do. It’s our 4th year going there and it keeps improving. River was full for tubing. Great location if you want to venture out and check out some local places. I did wish the cabin had some shelves or hooks for a little extra storage.

Our site was in the wide open in between RV’s and we had tents so felt a bit out of sorts. Site # 233. I felt more bad for the people in the RV next to us because I felt like we were in their front lawn. The folks in the RV, were amazingly awesome!!! We will definitely be back, but hopefully on a different site.

Paided WAY to much for this place. $450 for a site that flooded, got charged $10 a day for my car, $3 for my dog,$10 a day resort fee that half the stuff was cancelled due to rain. I will not return here. The only thing positive was the employees as they were amazing and super nice. Other then that, the price is ridiculous for this KOA and paided extra for the adventure package and it was useless!

Because of the fire danger associated with fireworks I think they should be prohibited at campgrounds. During my stay people launched fireworks and I was concerned about my safety and the safety of my child.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. Our policies state that fireworks are not permitted on the campground. Unfortunately, we did still have some guests who brought them in. The situation was handled promptly by our security team and the rest of the fireworks were held by our staff until checkout.

Although we had a good time during our stay, our site was nothing but tree roots and dirt. This made walking difficult to say the least. The hot tub/pool were nice. Cable was not operational (we did receive a discount) and the wifi was not accessible for the sites in our location. Realizing this is a relatively new KOA, we will wait a few years before returning and hope upgrades have occurred.

Our site was nice. We were very disappointed in the entrance and exit to the river for tubing and the dead trees in the river. The game room had many games were out of order. There was no weekend entertainment and no activities for teenagers.The bathrooms were very clean and well kept, friendly staff. For the expensive rate we paid were expecting more.

After making a reservation, when we arrived they didn't have a cabin that we reserved available. They then said we had to stay in a different cabin and move the following morning with 3 children which consumed our entire morning and part of our afternoon. The following day nobody contacted us on what time to leave, we had to call them as it was approaching check out time. Not enough room to finish

The river that they advertise on the website is literally standing water of muck. You couldn’t pay me to go into that “river.” Our pull through site was shared with two “cabins” and another lot. The cabins were trashy looking. The area to the left of our site had trash outside which looked like rolled up carpet’s. The pool with the waterslide had a mouse floating in it. We will never g

I see that you stayed with us during a long, dry spell, and the river was admittedly low. Since then, we have had a lot of rain and many campers have enjoyed floating on the river every day.

The Campground was subpar for a KOA Campground. The Campground needs to be updated to current KOA trends. There is no supervision at any of the offered amenities. ( kids using hot tubs, campers swimming after hours)

Loved the safari tents. Was very comfortable and just nice to get away from the world. Took nephew and my dad and they had so much fun.

Although we had a good time, there were so many rocks and roots on the site. We couldn’t find a flat spot to put the tent and we kept tripping-nearly fell into the fire several times. The 18+ rule for the hot tub was not enforced. For movie theme week, the scavenger hunt was too difficult and movies were rarely played on time and/broken.

Asked about my site being big enough to back into without unhooking my trailer.They said no but a pull through would be $34 extra. The site next to me was empty and large enough for my trailer and truck. I would call that putting me in a site that won’t work in order to get more money on another site. I will not stay at this location again.

The staff of this campground are amazing! They were very helpful and friendly. Bathrooms were always immaculate as well. Plenty of activities for the kids, we always had something to do! We were so sad we had to leave!!

This campground is amazing. We have stayed at a lot of KOAs, but love that this one has the activities centrally located so that we can relax quietly in the woods, but then just a short distance away is all the activities. We stayed at the riverfront RVs and they are brand new and amazing.

Beautiful campground. Very well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The river is wonderful. The only negative is that it was very loud. The road it is built on has a lot of loud traffic.

Dusty and Maggie are hands down two of the nicest people I have ever met, they were helpful from the beginning to the end of our trip. The bad, The place was generally clean, pools kept running out of propane. I believe they should be on an automatic fill. The arcade, ehhh. I was completely robbed on the price of my stay, in addition to everything being “extra”. Out of room to type more.

Pool and water slide was very crowded because of people coming in on day passes. I'm a little unhappy about that because that's part of what I paid for when I made reservations.

We stayed on one of the new patio sites. It was great! We asked for a second picnic table so the kids had plenty of rooms to do crafts and play board games. They were happy to help us out. We had a wonderful time and would like to go again!

We love staying at the salmon falls koa . Honestly this time I wasn’t impressed with the staff around the pools, they seem to not want to be there. I get it. My daughter became lost from us , she followed a friend to another site and then became lost she went to the pool because it’s something she knows and asked for help, they told my five year old to go to the store and they’d help her

It’s clear they are experiencing some growing pains at this location. Now, the staff are wonderful! BUT my cabin rental had no screen door on the screen porch, and the deck footers are NOT up to code. Unsafe would best describe it with 4x4 legs too short to reach the ground and then shimmed up. If I could post photos with this review I would! Give them a year.

My stay there was horrible people behind us a lot 69 I was in 86 all night long that car door open slam open slam doors and yelling all night long people partying nothing was stopped and the last day there there was a fight a kid got hurt no kids need to see that at the pool it's a place I will never ever go back to. And yes I did complain cuz it was also the people at 88

KOA attempted to resurface some of the sites. BAAAAAAAAD choice of material. The sand/gravel used has an extremely high content of mica. It's like glitter!!!!!!!! It gets EVERYWHERE. You can't keep it out of your tent/camper. And once in there you can't get all out!!!!!!!!

I enjoyed it my family enjoyed it the only thing I don’t like is the price you have to pay for wood, I paid $35 pro wagon of wood it was not much at all It was all pine and Burns fast very disappointing. One more thing I didn’t appreciate my kids spending money in the arcades getting tickets no prizes because you were out all weekend my kids were disappointed.

We tented a trailer from them at one of their site. Trailer was very clean and well maintained. Bathroom was very small but that's expected from this small trailer. The kitchen was good with almost everything you need for the stay. The full bed was spacious for two. They also have two bunker beds good enough for 2 kids. The platform outside was very good, the awning was very useful when it rained during our stay.
