We rented a camper and liked having the amenities of one. The beds were quite firm. The campground amenities were great. The included adventures course was awesome as well as the waterslide, pool and jumping pillow. Due to so much recent rainfall, the river was very high and quite scary. Life jackets for kids are a must when the river is high, but the camp store doesn’t sell them.

The RV tank was never emptied, it backed up the first day there, it soiled the shower curtain and was not changed after partially emptied.Because if this the bathroom smelled horrendous and we could not use it.It back up again on the our third day because it was never properly emptied.On the only sunny day workers decide to landscape and forced us out of our pool spot and had no where to sit

The site is nice and the people are wonderful. Love all the new (and old) amenities there... Pools, slide, cornhole, jumping pad, etc) The trailer was nice although it had a couple leaks. The 2 things I'd suggest addressing were that the mattresses were so thin it was like sleeping on the plywood below. And every bathroom should have a few hooks as there's nowhere to hang your towel or cloth

Lazy river is great. KOA staff and policies could be better. Our RV site was originally supposed to be across from deluxe cabins when booked last fall. Over the winter KOA moved the RVs to a different location. Very disappointed and there was no communication. In addition, our RV toilet was broke. Now KOA charges $39 to reserve a site...but will you move the site over winter??

This was our 10th year (with the exception of 2020) staying at Flat Rock/KOA Salmon Falls and we were impressed by all the updates since KOA took over! We stayed in the safari tents for the first time & will definitely do that again! What an upgrade from tenting! Overall a pleasant experience. Only complaint is a staff member vaping in front of kids on the water slide.

I am happy we get to lock in sites going forward. We camp with other family and friends and like to be together. However, we have 2 years in a row of security monitoring our evenings. They tell us we can't walk through sites (even though they are people camping with us). Also, one group got to book a golf cart for next year but I was told I couldn't. Huge communication problem.

We had a wonderful time at the campground. Some of the staff was less than enthused to be there and weren't very personable (Rope course) but everyone else was awesome. One thing that would be helpful would be instructions in the RV (what to turn on, how to work the stove, storage compartments etc...as a newbie to RV's we were a bit lost, but with a bit of ingenuity and laughs we got through it!

Everything was great! The only comment I have is I think there should be benches put in the shower/bath house over near the Northern cabins and pool (non water slide). I had to bring my granddaughter in and after she showered she had to stand to wait for me to shower. She is too young to be alone.

Upon arrival we were told we wouldn’t be able to stay in the glamping tents we booked and automatically put us in a cabin. We were pretty disappointed but it worked out okay because it was a bit rainy, however the cabins don’t have two full/queen beds like the tents which would have fit our needs better. Reserved deluxe riverfront cabin but there was no river view from our cabin, very disappointed. There was also was no charcoal grill as advertised. Stayed 3 days and was otherwise happy. Then Stayed 2 days in an RV. woke to a flooded floor. Had to use all the towels to attempt to dry. Complained to office, no one addressed it. Stayed in wet RV. Also smelled sewage From neighboring RV. Gross.

staff very pleasant always answered any questions with a smile my only negative rented rv instead of tenting no cable and with bad weather was looking for something to do for older people like me should be warned about how thin mattress on bed or bunks are very uncomfortable speed limits both cars and golf carts not enforced maybe $50 day for golf cart senior discount? can't wait to come back!

Loved the river and safari tents with linens and towels and coffee maker. Bathrooms were clean. Appreciated being able to stay up late with a fire without a hassle from management. Also loved fire and ice delivery.

My family has been going to this campground for 20 years. When KOA bought it they made some great changes and despite the rain the whole family had a great time. The grounds are clean and people are friendly. We did rent aRV and I will say the beds are very uncomfortable. Mattress is very very thin and it’s like sleeping on a piece of plywood but now we know for next time.

Our cabin didn’t have a front porch roof like the others so it was hot to sit outside. It was very busy and loud in our section so I’m not sure we would have wanted to sit outside, honestly. The location was right in front of the bathroom and people were constantly cutting through our site. Our kids liked the pools and the bathroom seemed fairly clean. It was okay overall but not great.

Really nice campground with a lot to do. It’s our 4th year going there and it keeps improving. River was full for tubing. Great location if you want to venture out and check out some local places. I did wish the cabin had some shelves or hooks for a little extra storage.

After making a reservation, when we arrived they didn't have a cabin that we reserved available. They then said we had to stay in a different cabin and move the following morning with 3 children which consumed our entire morning and part of our afternoon. The following day nobody contacted us on what time to leave, we had to call them as it was approaching check out time. Not enough room to finish

The Campground was subpar for a KOA Campground. The Campground needs to be updated to current KOA trends. There is no supervision at any of the offered amenities. ( kids using hot tubs, campers swimming after hours)

The staff of this campground are amazing! They were very helpful and friendly. Bathrooms were always immaculate as well. Plenty of activities for the kids, we always had something to do! We were so sad we had to leave!!

This campground is amazing. We have stayed at a lot of KOAs, but love that this one has the activities centrally located so that we can relax quietly in the woods, but then just a short distance away is all the activities. We stayed at the riverfront RVs and they are brand new and amazing.

It’s clear they are experiencing some growing pains at this location. Now, the staff are wonderful! BUT my cabin rental had no screen door on the screen porch, and the deck footers are NOT up to code. Unsafe would best describe it with 4x4 legs too short to reach the ground and then shimmed up. If I could post photos with this review I would! Give them a year.

I enjoyed it my family enjoyed it the only thing I don’t like is the price you have to pay for wood, I paid $35 pro wagon of wood it was not much at all It was all pine and Burns fast very disappointing. One more thing I didn’t appreciate my kids spending money in the arcades getting tickets no prizes because you were out all weekend my kids were disappointed.

I was a little Leary before I got there with the reviews on TripAdvisor but once we were there everything was great. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The deluxe cabin was clean, beautiful and functional. Pool and water slide was great. Kids loved the arcade. Playground and bounce pad was a lot of fun. We would definitely come back and recommend.

Air conditioning was broken in our cabin but problem was rectified quickly. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Lots of activities and things to do for kids. TV did not work in living room area which was upsetting for our teen. Could not be fixed.

I appreciated the cleanliness of the camp ground. However, there were some problems. My fridge in the RV didn’t work. Didn’t find out until the food spoiled. The deck on the patio should’ve had rails as it was high off the ground and it didn’t. At least half the games at the arcade were out of order. The younger staff in charge of the kid activities were extremely childish themselves.

We have been coming to this campground since before it was a KOA. We have always had a good time. This year there were 3 seperate incidents that the police came to. Our kids love the ropes course but didn't like that they had to choose to do ropes or mini golf and it was a limited # of times. We Pay a resort fee they should be able to use the facility more freely or remove the fee.

The RV had a sewage smell that they tried to remedy but couldn’t. They said that they would suggest a power washing of the waste tank. That’s something that should be done on a schedule and not when a camper complains about the smell. There was no mention of recycling in the park. I wish it was something KOA drove from the top down.

We had a great time! Love the slide! They fixed hot tub on second day there thank you!! The entrances to different buildings and amenities were all awkward as in you had to go way around. Office needs to be clearly marked for first timers! Sell snacks at arcade please. Cami was really nice for rustic cabin and bathrooms were clean and nearby!! Mini golf was cool. Ropes course closed : loved

What I thought was gonna be a weekend of events, was very uneventful. The campground did a very poor job of coordinating the Father’s Day events, which Was made to seem like a whole day of events, and just ended up being one softball game, coordinated by the campers themselves, as the staff had nothing planned. Disappointing. Then the Father’s Day The breakfast was just donuts. Nothing special

We tented a trailer from them at one of their site. Trailer was very clean and well maintained. Bathroom was very small but that's expected from this small trailer. The kitchen was good with almost everything you need for the stay. The full bed was spacious for two. They also have two bunker beds good enough for 2 kids. The platform outside was very good, the awning was very useful when it rained during our stay.
