This park has a rustic flare that is perfect ion my opinion. Gravel drives and grassy areas are very appealing. If we decide to RV more we will definitely have San Angelo on our places to go list. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I was surprised to see so may people that stay at the KOA permanently. We made some new friends and will miss them now. Hope to see you all real soon.

Great stay only grip is that the space we were in (61) was very unlevel and hard to use ramps due to loose gravel.

We got to the Campground after hours. Paperwork was left for our site with clear directions. Pulled into site 61 and trailer was level so set up was very easy. Perfect site for us. Bathrooms were spacious and clean. Definitely will book again if ever in the area.

We were traveling with a friend that had trouble with his coach and we couldn’t leave on time. The hosts were very helpful in directing us to numbers for repair services and also recommended contacting one of the RVers who had a similar coach. He was able to solve the problem immediately and got us in the road! Many thanks to the hosts and the helpful RVer!!!

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin #3. We had 2 adults and 4 young children. The kids loved the loft and the bunk beds in thecabin! We really enjoyed the pool, the porch rocking chairs, the kitchen, and how kind and accommodating the staff was. We come to San Angelo every summer, and this is definitely our new place to stay!

This is very clean and large spaces. Plenty of grassy areas for the dogs. They have good cable and great wifi.

We have stayed at several RV parks and this one is the best by far. It even beats out the State Parks. The staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and goes the extra mile to help you. We were actually sad to leave but we had to get back home. We will be back as soon as we can.

Thoroughly enjoyed the SA KOA. I was pleasantly surprised (1st trip to the KOA) when led to one of the outer sites that was very deluxe with a wonderful patio, privacy screen and built-in fire pit/grill. Very nicely done. The biggest treat was a colony of ground squirrels in the ground behind my trailer (thought they were prairie dogs at first), Maybe a KOA ground squirrel crossing sign needed!

The people where very nice and friendly! As a pet owner I do not recommend during the summer. There wasn’t any grass at our site or a tree. We had a pull through spot and only stayed a night so maybe that makes a difference but very hot on dogs feet having to run for shade on the hot gravel.

Always like the stay. Just recommend that a fire pit or some type of grill be available. We had #60 with patio and lattice wall but no where to grill enjoy an evening fire with our grandsons.

This was our 2nd time there in the past few weeks we love that campground. It's always nice and quiet and very clean. ( We always stay in the middle of the week travel on weekends) We really liked the fact that it's 5 or 10 minutes away from the restaurants and stores and less than that to the lake. We have already booked our next stay in September.

The stay was very enjoyable, my only complaint is the cost. $1000 for a month is too expensive.

Great park. Facilities were clean and well laid out. Sites were level and amenities were as they should be. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend.

This is a very clean and nice RV park! We like that all the spots are gravel. All of the staff members are very friendly and fun to talk to.
