Campground Cancellation Guideline

Campground Specific Cancellation Policy

Thank you for booking your reservation at the San Antonio Alamo KOA Holiday.

Your reservation includes 2 adults and 2 children (17 and under). Children under 12 stay free. Additional charges apply for each extra adult or child. The total number of occupants, including adults and children, may not exceed 6 individuals.

SPECIAL DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION REQUIREMENTS IN FEBRUARY FOR THE SAN ANTONIO STOCK SHOW AND RODEO:

Reservations deposit guidelines during the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo in February are as follows: 

  • A deposit equal to your entire stay may be charged to your credit card at the time you make your reservation to guarantee you a campsite. 
  • All reservations must be paid in full by February 1st. Any reservation that has not been paid in full by this date is subject to cancellation, which will result in the forfeiture of any deposit previously paid.
  • Your reservation does not guarantee you a specific campsite, unless you have paid the fee for guaranteed site. 
  • Storage sites are not available during the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo.  Please keep in mind that our property is not zoned to accommodate livestock. As a result, livestock is not permitted on the property under any circumstances, including animals that remain inside trailers or transport vehicles.
  • Standard Cancellation Policy in effect until January 31st, 2026.  
  • A cancellation after January 31, 2026, for any reservation during Rodeo will result in your entire deposit being forfeited. 
  • Your reservation is changeable up to January 31, 2026. 
  • Reservation changes made at arrival or after January 31, 2026, may result in any excess deposits to be forfeited. 
  • Special deposit rules apply to all Deluxe Cabins and Glamping Cabins. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Please contact the property directly for additional details or questions regarding this policy.

  • Campsite check-in time is 1:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 PM

    Cabin/Accommodation check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is 12 PM

National Cancellation Guideline

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted.

Cancellation Deadlines:

  • RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.
  • Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.

For guests booking accommodations in California, a full refund will be given for reservations canceled within 24 hours of booking, provided the arrival date is at least 72 hours after the time of booking.

Cancellation Details:

  • Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.
  • Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
  • No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.
  • No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.
  • Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.
  • The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.
  • Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA for details.
