Campground Cancellation Guideline

Campground Specific Cancellation Policy

PLEASE READ  NEW FOR 2024

HOLIDAY CANCELLATIONS

SFN Petaluma KOA holds a 30 day cancellation policy on all Holidays.  A holiday is defined as any stay with a minimum night requirement or is listed on a standard US calendar as a holiday.  Guest requesting to cancel for a holiday more then 30 days prior to arrival will be charges a standard $20 cancellation, requests less then 30 days will result in forfeiture of deposit.  

NON-HOLIDAY CANCELATIONS

RV & Tent: Cancel 7 day or more ahead of your check in date during non holidays or special events and you will be charged a $20 cancellation fee with the balance of your deposit refunded. 

Cabins/Lodges: Cancel 14 days or more ahead of your check in date during non holidays or special events and you will be charged a $20 cancellation fee with the balance of your deposit refunded. 

Groups:  Both full group and individual group member cancelations made 30 days or more in advance of arrival will result in a $20 cancelation fee with the balance of your deposit refunded. 

All Sites: If you cancel outside the designated cancellation time for your site you will forfeit the deposit amount.

National Cancellation Guideline

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted.

Cancellation Deadlines:

  • RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.
  • Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.

For guests booking accommodations in California, a full refund will be given for reservations canceled within 24 hours of booking, provided the arrival date is at least 72 hours after the time of booking.

Cancellation Details:

  • Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.
  • Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
  • No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.
  • No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.
  • Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.
  • The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.
  • Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA for details.
