undergoing constructions is an eyesore, the store opened late and it has a very light selection. I was disappointed not to find marshmallows. It would be great if the swimming fool was heated.

We only stayed 1 night, so we didn’t utilize many of the parks amenities. The grounds were well maintained and the shower facilities were clean. We were warmly greeted by the staff when we arrived to checked in. The only negative was the site was not very level and required significant levelling side to side and back to front. Overall a good camping experience.

We go there every year because our friends have their daughters birthday party at Lawsons Landing and there’s no hookups, so we stay at your KOA. Plus we plan for the crab feed every year!

It was a great vacation in here. All of our family members have fun. The staffs were very nice and the room was very clean during our visit. Will recommend this place to my friend!

We love it there and can’t wait to go back. The only thing I wish is that in the pasture loop there was no bikes or scooters. Most of the rigs and towing vehicles are very nice and we had to ask quite a few kids to not bet to close to our truck on their bikes and scooters and also swinging a bat and throwing a football. Other than that…hands down our favorite place to camp.

Great service as clean grounds. This is a large KOA, and despite some upkeep and work being done it was quiet, fun, relaxing, and had some wonderful customer service. Thank you Petaluma KOA.

Much needed vacation away from work. This was a perfect way to relax and get away from work. The cabin I stayed in was nice as the cabins always are. Check in and out was very easy and not a problem.

We have camped here before. Had a great time and enjoyed the area. The staff was especially friendly and they liked our dog too! We’ll be back!

Good- cleanliness of showers and bathrooms, friendly staff. Our tent site was on a slope, as well as our picnic table which we had to find rocks or pieces of concrete to make it level. We wanted to rent a cabin but the computer system stated that none were available. However, as we stayed For 5 days we noticed that many single room cabins stayed empty. Understand that may have low staff.

The good: Closest KOA (45 miles) to San Francisco if you need to go there. Great common kitchen area for cooking and cleaning. Unfortunately, the service did not worth the price we paid. The most expensive site for the whole trip with the most unfriendly service and worst shower experience in all KOA grounds we stayed. Water is not even warm and no space to get change. Not recommended.

Positive: Park was clean. We were able to change our site without a problem as we could not level. Negative: We were place away from our friends at the time I called in for a reservation. Because of that I assumed (wrongly) that the park was booked and nearly full. I was told a $30 extra fee would secure my site. What a come on!! There were many open sites and no need for that up charge.

Our stay was terrific! Super clean, staff was so warm and friendly in the office. Made us feel very welcome. We were only able to spend one night and would love to come back. Only drawback was the smell of cow manure, at times, but…could get used to that! Beautiful cows.

I did love the premium lots with the patios. Our sites were next to the trash bins that smelled awful when the sun beat down plus we were adjacent to a big field. We now know that it is a cow pasture and the stench was unbearable. This information should be given when booking. We called to complain. No call back from Sue as promised. We love the park so our rating is only for this spot.

We stayed in a back in site (8). We will be back but next time we’ll get a site closer to the barn. Staff was great and lots to do. Note that the rock wall is gone and they have horses. There is poop on the roads and a bad smell from time to time - I think it’s from the horses. Other than that it was perfect. We will be back!!

We live in a cabin this time. This KOA has poor house keeping on outdoor area such as gas grill area, camp ground and fire pit. They were very dirty when we arrive. It also very close to neighbors. In the cabin, there is no hair dryer. But, other KOA's cabin has it. In the cabin itself, it is clean and meet our expectations. Dog playground's door is broken. RV campsite looks great.

Some sites are beautifully enclosed with plant greenery: Beautiful! This is a huge campground on a hillside in N. Petaluma; even though it is not that close to the FWY, one can hear the FWY noise at night. Otherwise, a lovely place, filled with children who seem very happy to ride bikes and play together in various locations.

This was our best stay yet. Love the kids outdoor movies, jump pillow, animals. The staff was amazing didn't rush us out of the pool always happy and accommodating. We like to come here every year this is my favorite place!

This place has great amenities with great staff. The spaces were fairly spaced apart. My only complaint is about the showers, the shower head is way too high that the water is cold by the time it hits you. The water also was barely luke warm and there's no space for you to change in private. There are also many flies as there are animals nearby. They filled my propane as well, just took it up front for them to tag and they brought it back to my spot! The store was also very cute and had a good selection of drinks, ice cream, and various needs.
