We booked a pull thru that you couldn’t pull out of. We had to back out. Maybe they shouldn’t rent it as a pull thru.

I would give them 10 stars if I could. The most accommodating people we have ever dealt with on our travels. A must destination when in Sault Ste. Marie. Beautiful well maintained park. You get what you pay for and more.

Koa Sault has always been a beautiful stay with nothing but friendly, helpful Staff and great surroundings. Always love our stays at KOA Sault.

For a pull through, question why you have to disconnect your trailer. First stay couple weeks prior was great. Site 52 was horrible.

Disconnection was not necessary had this guest not parked in the middle of the site.

Generally a good stay, though we hadn’t anticipated the unusually large number of dogs, which was a slightly mixed blessing. We had 2 of our own, and mostly enjoyed the encounters with other dogs and their people, though there were a few moments when the barking became slightly annoying. We would certainly use the camp ground again if we should be looking for a camp site in the area.

It was short but the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had 2 nights booked but had to change sites for the second night. Our original second site was not a drive through but they worked hard to try to get us into a drive through site. We decided to leave that day anyway to try to get our travelling time to Ottawa spread over 2 days.

We gave it a 3 & not a 5 because when we booked on line it stated 15 amp permitted with our van. When we checked in, we were informed that it would not work with our adaptor. So we paid to have power & could not use it. No discount applied. Please revise your website as this is how 98.5 per cent of people now have to reserve these spots. Plus not all are professional campers. Very clean place!

Our website states no 30 amp units on this site, but guest booked it anyway.Upon arrival, they insisted on having the site, despite being offered a site without power at a reduced rate (only site available).When making a reservation guests are welcome to call us and we are happy to answer questions.

Very pleased with the Sault KOA. By far so much better than the KOA we’ve came to right after the Sault KOA. 5+ STARS!

I stayed July 4 for the night. I asked to book 2 nights 2 weeks later. The receptionist said we were booked in. Arrived at the campsite and was told we were only booked for one night. And that we were lucky to get a sight because it was a cancellation. Thought I had a reservation. They offered us a sight with no hookups or one beside the store. Checked with Renfrew KOA. One was open.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

At checkin, guest said that they wanted two nights, but admitted that they knew their confirmation said one night (that's all that was available at booking). We were completely sold out second night, but said if there was a cancellation they could have the site, or we had one without services.

This is by far the most dog friendly campground we have ever stayed at anywhere in North America! Great place to stay with very friendly staff.

Staff were friendly, polite and professional. Great place for kids and dogs!! First time for us at a KOA camp and it was a wonderful experience. The park, pool and washrooms were very clean. If we venture to this part of Ontario again we wouldn't hesitate to stay at this camp ground again. Thank you

The park was clean and well organized. Lots of staff on the grounds ensuring everyone was obeying rules and things were in order. Highly recommend this park.

We returned to the campground because we found it clean and friendly. It didn't disappoint, particularly the bathrooms and pool area. The location is good for sightseeing. Our only negative comment is some campers' disregard for speeding through the grounds. I think a more visible , flashing sign at the entrance would be warranted. Maybe a large reminder on the handout.

Wonderful spot and staff are A++. We are on xCanada road trip with another family and this was intended to be stop one for an overnight. My truck broke down outside Sault. Ended up here for 4 nights. They were incredibly accommodating and helpful. My 11yr old and dog loved it. Lots to do. Go carts, dog areas and Beautiful nature trail we’re well used. Very clean. We’ll be back. You set high b

72 was the perfect site for us! Away from people, quiet, flat drive through! Easy camping! Great way to start our track across Canada!

Outstanding facility, very clean and something for everyone. Our guide to the site {Steven} was very good, pleasant and helpful! Kudos to him!!! We really loved our Patio site and after a long day was a welcome respite. Grounds were impeccable! Next time we will be staying a week or more....5+stars....

The nicest KOA we’ve ever stayed at!! And definitely in our top 10 of all campgrounds. Extremely clean, organized and beautiful! The staff were top notch. Very professional. Two thumbs up!!

Need recycling.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We had recycling bins out this year but people kept putting garbage in it despite our signs, and it was attracting bears. Unfortunately, we had to stop our recycling program because of that.

We were very happy. The campsites are beautifully appointed and it was a nice family-oriented quiet place to stay. Very convenient off the highway. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only complaint that there was no "recycling" for us to dispose of our cans and jars. We were told to put it in the garbage but we chose to bring it home and recycle it. Recycling is important!

We had a recycling program that we had to end unfortunately. People were putting their trash in the recycle bins rather than the dumpster, and it was attracting bears. We agree that recycling is important, and wish people would have read the signs about garbage and recycling.

This KOA is just about the best campground we have stayed at in all of North America. Bill and Joan run their campground in such a way that it makes for an excellent camping experience. Staff well trained, grounds are beautiful and amenities help make one’s holiday the best. This is our 6 th year at KOA Sault Ste. Marie. We hope to have many more.

My husband and I stayed for 5days and absolutely loved it.We had so much fun.It is the best place that caters to your dogs which is absolutely wonderful great job Bill and Joan we'll be back for sure.

I'm not really fond of 'chain" campgrounds but this one was really great. They really take good care of the place and seem to really take pride in the place. Very clean. If you have a dog, they have a playground, agility course, and even a salon for dogs.
