We have stayed here on other occasions while passing through on the way out west. Always a good stay and appreciate how well kept the property is. This is my favourite KOA overall.

It was a really good stay but we had a situation with another camper on our last night and we didn't know who to contact or how to deal with it. We actually felt unsafe at one point. A neighbour was blasting music until at least 11, he was extremely intoxicated and it took several visits to him from several campers (as well as several screaming matches) before he turned it down.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We're very sorry you had that experience. When we patrolled the park at 11, all was quiet. No one advised us that there was a problem until the next morning, or we would have looked after it immediately. We hope you will return again, to see that this is completely out of character for this park.

Quel beau terrain de camping, et comme le personnel est accueillant ! Il pleuvait à boire debout et nous avons été accueillis par une employée toute souriante qui nous a accompagné à notre terrain en kart malgré tout ! Et la rivière qui longe le terrain avec les bateaux qui passent en avant de nous, c'est reposant et tellement différent des autres KOA en Ontario ! Nous reviendrons vous v

Exceptional! We have camped in every state and province including the Tukon and Alaska and have never seen a prettier and better run campground! There are more amenities available than we have ever had! Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful campground. Very warm and inviting. All the amenities you dream of. The owners definitely went the extra mile. We arrived late and they kept the pool open an extra hour so my kids could enjoy it. Would definitely visit again.

Guest requested site near travelling companions. We have larger sites, but tried to accommodate their request. 30' trailer on a site over 60' in length.

The stay was great. Only gave a 4-4.5 because the grass on the site was not cut prior to check in and was not attempted to be cut during our stay. Lawn was overgrown. We will be back again as we really enjoy the campground.

We try not to mow sites when guests are on site so as not to disrupt. We do not allow grass to become overgrown though.

Lovely park. Neat, tidy, very clean. Pull thru 50/30 full service lot way too short and narrow. Good for overnight stay not the 4 days we booked. Had to pull so far forward we had to disconnect. Trees both sides of lot. Even pulled up could not open canopy more than 3 feet. Told should have booked earlier for better lot. Was 6 wks not enough? Owner like a Drill Sargent. KOA VIP member in 2020.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Booking calendar for the '21 season opened last summer therefore many site types were already full by early spring. We offered suggestions of where to park RV on site for various slideout/awning positions, but guest didn't want assistance. 32' trailer and truck were on a site 90' in length.

Awesome park and great staff. Our only concern was that the park really caters to dogs...so much so that everyone around us had one — which to be clear we do not mind... Except..one neighbour had 2 large dogs and one of the 2 barked a lot and loudly. It was quite annoying. Anytime someone walked by, or a car went by, back bark bark. Not good!!

Fantastic park. Very clean and friendly and loads of amenities. Only wish they had more sewer sites, otherwise I’d consider an extended stay there.

The campground is super clean, very clean and roomy washrooms with showers. We enjoyed our stay!

Bathrooms not being open makes it a very uncomfortable stay. Ontario parks has all bathrooms open and are able to keep them clean for all campers. With hardly anyone at KOA I find it hard to believe you can’t offer the same comforts to everyone. 10/10 would Not recommend.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Guests are advised that restroom facilities are available for tenters/cabin guests only in order to reduce the number of people in the restrooms at once. Guests with their own washrooms are asked to use their own. This guest stayed twice last year with the same policy.

The park was acceptable and seemed to be well kept.All of the attractions that we hoped to see in the area were closed due to Covid19 and we couldn't even get tee times at local golf courses so we decided to leave after 3 nights to go to another KOA in Sturgeon Falls.Bill the owner refused to give us even a partial refund on the 7 nights that we had paid in advance.I was very disappointed.

All of the campground amenities were available for use. We have no control over what is open in town; due diligence prior to making reservations suggested. Guest told us they were leaving because of expected rain. No refunds after check-in.

Great accommodations. Excellent stay. Dog play area, and K9 bath. Also RV wash and weigh if requested. Best campsite ever. Wifi works, cable is great and the sites are set up for maximum privacy with sites staggered.

Really beautiful campground! Staff was extremely nice and very helpful. The sites are huge no problem for our 38’ fifth wheel we didn’t have to unhook if we didn’t want to! There are walking trails, dog park, mini golf and an RV wash station on site !

One night but stopping again in a week or so. So very clean. Although close to each other the fact that they have features catering to dogs was a bonus. The shop was amazing. Really enjoyed the one night but looking forward to our next visit in a week or so

My husband and I stayed for 5days and absolutely loved it.We had so much fun.It is the best place that caters to your dogs which is absolutely wonderful great job Bill and Joan we'll be back for sure.

I'm not really fond of 'chain" campgrounds but this one was really great. They really take good care of the place and seem to really take pride in the place. Very clean. If you have a dog, they have a playground, agility course, and even a salon for dogs.
