Well appointed. Amenities as advertised. Excellent site events, especially for the kids. Grass AND trees! Easy access from the highway but not within walking distance of local businesses.

The staff here are AMAZING. Alway friendly, helpful and going above and beyond. Some of the best costumer service I’ve experienced in a long time! I love that you can charge from the store to your room card on file and even have pizza delivered right to your site. Everything here is very clean and well kept, the pool being my favorite ;)

Horrible stay Paid for electric site & didn’t have electricity! When I informed them we did not have electric & of our misery due to the heat & no fans I was refunded a whopping $ 2.94 no apology nothing!!! The young girl at the counter explained the owners were not available since they were on a well deserved vacation! I wouldn’t recommend this place to ANYONE! Extremely Rude, worst KOA EV

The lack in electricity was due to a previous guest turning off a breaker. Due to this staff adjusted to a non-electric tent site which was the difference in cost. It was 110° during the week.We do have staff onsite after hours but no calls were received to remedy or would have been fixed quickly.

Had Family Reunion there! Lots of activities, clean. Friendly employees! Grandkids had great time! Will definitely come back �

Great campground. Well maintained. Gravel pulled out 38 foot with toad into pull through sites. We were just overnight and did not use any amenities. Looked in good shape. Staff friendly. Greeted with chocolate chip cookies. Quiet

We stayed for a week. We watched as as a couple had a birthday party by the pool, very nice people, however all the children were doing their own thing. Water Balloons being thrown by the charge station leaving behind busted rubber trash- not good for animals to ingest. I watched a child pee in the charge station. Threw pool chair in the pool. Jumping off chair into the pool. Last day we were aske

We hope you were able to discuss the incident with the parents while at the pool since these issues were not discussed with staff. We try to frequent areas in the park but also park 60 guests each night. We wish we could have accommodated your 7 day renewal in the same site but had a watermain break

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here about 6 times and will return. Easy in and out. We have a large rig and have had no problems. Great KOA!

Great park! Clean! Has pizza delivery! Great young lady and gentleman took us to our site, got us parked. Very nice young people who have great customer service skills!

The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. They were obviously handling numerous guests and tasks in addition to me, but made the effort to sincerely connect. The down side to my experience is the location near I-29, which makes the campground both easy to access, but also noisy from some sites. Which is the reason for 4/5 stars.

The staff were extremely pleasant and the deluxe cabin we rented was very nice. The main reason we rented a deluxe cabin was the private bathroom and shower; unfortunately the extremely low water pressure made the shower unusable. If we had the benefit if a usable shower it would have been 5-star.

It was really clean & great for our family, but we were very disappointed there were no masks or social distancing measures to protect from COVID.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our website does list all mandates that SD requires in terms of masking. We take guests directly to site to minimize contact in office. Cleaning protocols are still in place and staff vaccinated. We do have to rely on guests to do their part or discuss needs if they feel uncomfortable.

Deluxe cabin was very clean, had everything we needed including linens and towels and nicely located to the pool. however the gate to the dark park made a horrible screeching sound which could be heard every time it was opened or shut. We loved that we could have pizza delivered right to our site and it was delicious. Enjoyed our stay very much!

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this KOA was. Large shade trees at each site, grounds well maintained, cute cabins with grill and table and chairs. Would stay here again.

Waited till well after 3pm to get the keys to our cabin due some water issues I was told. I was also told that no one can check in before 3pm for a cabin to allow time for cleaning. I witnessed several times throughout our stay several people check in way before 3pm. Otherwise stay was decent.

The staff was exceptional! Very friendly and cheerful. I love the pizza delivery and the store was great. My only issues was the traffic noise. It's something that can't be fixed.

Our stay was very nice. My concern is that we are senior citizens and we JD guests who are also senior citizens and we were charged $5.00 per person to come and sit and visit with us for a few hours. We and they did not use any amenities except the restroom. I think this charge is excessive. I told your employee so as well. I reluctantly paid this to visit with a family.

We LOVED all the amenities! The pool, playground, jump pillow, and mini golf kept the kids entertained during our whole stay! The tent sites were very close to the highway, so the noise made it quite difficult to sleep. But the other activities and staff were great, and we would go again (just pick farther from the front)!

This was our first time staying at a KOA campground. Generally we prefer being by water or other scenic views. But we had our grandsons with us on this camp and the activities provided by the KOA were perfect to help keep those active boys entertained. We also enjoyed meeting other campers from all over the US who stopped for the night on their way to their destination. We will stay here again.

We spent two nights here on our way to Rapid City. We have been to a lot of KOA campgrounds and, by far, this one had the most helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, hard working staff we have met! The sites were long, level and shady. The pool, laundry and grounds were very clean and well maintained. They have a pizza kitchen in the office for take out orders and they have many, fun weekend activities. The camp store was stocked with lots of goodies, necessities and souvenir items. I definitely recommend this KOA!!
