Really nice park. Lots of activities for the entire family. Amazingly quiet for being next to the freeway.

At the last minute, they had a site for us; even though it is so close the the holiday weekend! Pristine and clean! Checked out the bath house & laundry. Very clean. Although an older campground, the amenities are very family orientated - from the pool, to playground and the game plaza! Our site was long enough for our motor coach and tow, so we did not have to drop the Jeep just for a night.

It was, as always such a beautiful stay at KOA. James and his crew are so very friendly and kind. Very clean and other then it rained 2 inches, the sun came out and we visited with everyone and walked around. Only thing we didn't do this time was swim. Love going there.

Difficult to get into it with all of the road closures and their signs are only marginally helpful

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We apologize the message was clear about the road closure. We did have an alert online and a new text service that sends out two messages on the arrival day to catch anyone our directions may have missed. DOT will not allow us to move signs at this time.

Generally good. Space tight and gravel not in good shape. Trees need to be trimmed to accommodate big rigs.

Stop over on our way to Yellowstone. Check-in was super easy and sit was level and east to get set up.

Only problem was poorly flushing toilets in women's restroom. Everything else was great.

Extremely nice location. Sites are level, restrooms clean. Whole park was updated with plenty for kids to do. I would give more than 5 stars.

Great staff, they are very helpful and you did not have to ask for help, they asked if they could help you before you could ask for help. Definitely a place to stay.

The camping spaces were large and each came with grills. Lots of activities. The spaces were gravel, but they had nice concrete pads out front of each space. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Just an overnight stay but it was a good stay. Park staff were friendly and helpful and park is clean and appears to well maintained and run.

Stayed 1 night. Arrived a few minutes after 9pm. Friendly staff, Caleb, showed us to our spot. Looked like a fun place to stay more than one night and enjoy some of the activities and amenities, but unfortunately our travel plans required us to leave early next morning.

The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. Not much to do in the area but it was a great overnight stay on our way to the Badlands.

The staff and facilities were fantastic. Everything was very clean including the showers and bathrooms. The kids had a great time with all of the fun amenities. We also ordered pizza which was great and it was delivered directly to our campsite.

We had seven grandkids with us and they had loads of fun.This park is so kid friendly. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The kids want to come back and so do I !!

Very nice KOA, only stayed 1 night but if we’re ever back in the area we would stay again. Nice pool & pet area. Even offer pizza and wings to go!! It’s by the freeway but noise is not that bad.�

Really nice campground. Lots of fun activities. Loved the proactive communication telling us about construction as well as reminders at departure. Thrilled about being able to order pizza right at the campground and having it delivered to us. Unique and excellent! Will stay again!

It was wonderful to have someone come out to check you in and escort you to your spot. We were very impressed with all the activities for the kids. Every staff member was extremely friendly. The park was very clean.

We had a wonderful patio site, close to store. Lots of activities for kids. Pet area was very nice. Had a family reunion at riverside park in Sioux City, so easy on/off I-29.

Sioux City was a planned one night layover. This campground wished you were here longer. 8 RVs with us showed up at same time. They focused on getting us in and we were at our site on a couple minutes. Great staff, helpful and friendly. Pull through just big enough for my 60 rig, great water pressure, full hookup. Just no cable BUT antenna reception was just as good as cable. THANKS for the stay

We spent two nights here on our way to Rapid City. We have been to a lot of KOA campgrounds and, by far, this one had the most helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, hard working staff we have met! The sites were long, level and shady. The pool, laundry and grounds were very clean and well maintained. They have a pizza kitchen in the office for take out orders and they have many, fun weekend activities. The camp store was stocked with lots of goodies, necessities and souvenir items. I definitely recommend this KOA!!
