Nice campground with fairly new owners, Jeff & Melanie, who were very nice & great to talk with. Staff was friendly & accommodating as well. We had a full hookup big rig site that was more than adequate for our 45' MH. We would make a return visit if we were out this way ever again! Enjoyed our stay! Clean & maintained well.

So many permanent summer residents which is fine if they would keep their sites cleaned up and grass trimmed around trailers. Just looks junky. Otherwise site was great for a couple nights. Old Mill Pub great place to eat in Skowhegan

We usually travel with no set schedule and contact KOAs as needed to check for availability. This place was able to quickly accommodate us and was a top notch, well maintained place with great friendly staff. It was a pleasure to have time to meet Jeff and Melanie and other staff members. We even met little Riley who was a cute little girl mascot. My wife and I highly recommend staying there.

Melanie (the front desk clerk?) was extremely helpful and pleasant, as were her two male co-workers (whose names I don't recall). The facilities were clean and met my needs. The site was easy to access and had more than enough space for my tent, car, and row boat. I would definitely recommend this site to anyone looking for a site in the area and will likely return next year.

Though it was a 1-night stay, we found the campground welcoming and well-maintained. Larry was very helpful settling us in our site. We relaxed at the pool, appreciated the cabins, and felt safe at our KOA campsite. We helped our neighbor, a single lady traveling in her VW bug and teardrop camper, find her next two campsites in Maine and Vermont (Brattleboro, VT KOA).

Everyone there was pleasant to talk with and welcoming. I had something in one of my truck tire and instead of going to a car place the owner gave me a kit to repair my tire. Everything is clean everywhere, they have nice trail path with a nice disc golf course.

We camp here once a year and it has been amazing every year. The owners have made so many improvements and they go above and beyond to insure your stay is the best.

This site is great for families with children as there is much to do for them with the pool, jump pad, trails, play area, mining, etc. The camp is also clean. The staff, Larry and friends, here are very friendly and will do all they can for you. The only drawback to this area is that off of the campground there is not much to see if adults only travelling.

Nice campground, bigger than it looks. We were in a nice long dirt site, #A2, that fit our 40' fifth wheel, 29' Freightliner, and CRV easily. We're looking forward to going back.

Very nice campground. Premium sites are very spacious (necessary for my 70' length). However, they are quite expensive! Even with our KOA discount they averaged $80/nt for a 5 night stay. A return one night stay on Sep 2, 2019 is $122. I recognize this is Labor Day but it is the end of the weekend and shouldn't cost any more than a regular day, just as a Sunday does not cost the weekend rate.

Went to empty our tanks, made us rent a lot for one night!. Greed! WE were passing through. Other KOA charged us $15.

We do not have a public dumping station any longer.All of our sites are full hook up, therefore no need for one.We did not MAKE you rent a site for the night.You decided to do so because you needed to empty your tanks & you decided to not spend the night when you were more than welcome to as you did rent the site for the night.When dry camping you should research where you can dump for a fee.

Close quarters but very clean. Trees and well maintained. Staff were very very nice and helpful. Used laundry and it was tidy. I would stay here again.

Dusty roads. Pine needles stuck in the slide out caused it to leak when it rained causing a mess in the camper. Water all over the floor . Need to take down a few trees. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had an absolutely excellent stay. Everyone was so nice and accommodated us very well. My boyfriend was very impressed and so was I, the camp is not big, but it is very accommodating. THANK YOU all so much for a good 4 day stay..

Nice clean campground, Great if you have children, playground, swimming pool and other fun stuff. Clean bathrooms and showers, plenty of hot water and pressure, I would like to see soap holders in the showers but not a deal breaker, and bring your own grill rack for the fire ring as they do not have them. Also has a nice lake nearby, We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

The koa was clean, staff was friendly and there were activities for the kids. However, our site was quite crammed in with other sites. There was a lack of privacy and some of the other campers were rather snippy.

This place was great! So great that I extended my original stay and booked another week stay the beginning of September. The place was very clean and friendly. The staff was great especially our Hosts. They bent over backwards to make sure we were happy. I will definitely recommend this to any RV’er I run into.

The owners are friendly, and overall the campground was well maintained. However 10pm quiet time was not enforced, and there were loud tent campers who also used vulgar language. Not a family atmosphere!

We enjoyed staying at the campground with our granddaughters. It was a very family-friendly environment, and the girls enjoyed the pool, playground and jump-pad. The adults appreciated the convenience of the store and laundry area, as well as the cleanliness of the bathrooms and showers. We also enjoyed the friendly nature of the staff-- especially Larry! He is a real asset to this KOA.

The staff at the KOA were exceptional! Super friendly and helpful. The campground and facilities were clean and well maintained. When we arrived, an employee showed us to the campsite and assisted us with the set up of our camper. When we went to leave, and discovered a flat tire on our camper, they were right there to lend a hand to make the process smooth. We loved it!

This place is a gem! It's in a beautiful location an easy drive from both Skowhegan and Palmyra. Dan, one of the seasonal workers (and his bird Josephine) was a lot of fun and full of information about things to see in the local area. The campground also has plenty of activities for kids.
