Good as always. I like the open spaces for walking AND the hot showers. Those folks who don’t pickup after their pets make those of us who do look bad. Sad but true

The campground was convenient to the interstate. However, the noise from the racetrack and the trains made sleeping impossible!

Stopped by the office 2 times. No one there! On our second night another camper came to our door because he had been given the same spot we were in. Again, no one in office. Next morning I called to ask about the problem and Shelly (I think) said she saw that our reservation had been canceled by them but she could not explain why. No one on duty caused this problem. Won’t stay there again.

Well maintained. Nice bathrooms and showers. Lots of highway noise. Pretty constant though so was able to sleep. Convenient to Cahokia and Lewis and Clark sites.

We were only there one night so it is difficult to give a 5 when you don't use all facilities. However, staff were helpful and accommodating. My husband had trouble hooking up the water and help came right away to assist. Sites were good sized and easy to get in and out of.

Koa was a little run down, next to the railroad tracks, and surrounded by industrial park. But it served it's purpose for one night. Never saw any personnel.

Had to drive down a private industrial road to reach with lots of noise - was within a 1/4 mile of railroad tracks. Could have been a better location.

Fairly easy to find. Facilities very clean. Staff was let's say a little cold, not sociable, maybe due to viruses. The elderly gentleman that escorted us was a character, good humor. Would stay again.

Just a short stay overnight. Was lead in by attendant which is always helpful

We were disappointed with our stay here. A female staff member was very curt to me over the phone and was no more friendly to my husband when we checked in later. (Madam, It seems to us that if you don’t enjoy meeting new people, this is not a good job for you.) Our site must have been previously occupied by a smoker as butts littered the area around the picnic table. A poor impression overall.

site was ok, but location was terrible. In the center of industrial area and close to a race track that could be heard until late. Sie is full of oak trees which make it nice.

We were not greeted nicely on the phone when we tried to book. We checked in no we’re not notified that there was no water when there was a water main break out on street. No communication was given. We also were coming from out of state and not given guidelines for state and country covid requirements. Not worth the money to stay off highway. Staff seemed more annoyed we were there than happy.

Not very good signage to get there. GPS did great but it’s always good to see the yellow sign :)

There is a round track speedway about a mile from the camp ground. I guess on Friday night they have their races which sounded as though we were right there in the stadium. Just glad they stopped racing around 11pm. Also the grounds could stand some cleaning up...

Only stayed one night. Campground was fine. Limited interaction with staff due to COVID safety. Racetrack was loud. :-(

Stayed for 3 nights. Great location for what we wanted to visit. Miles and miles of bike trails very close. Campground was clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly. Current conditions with the virus kept some amenities closed. Things we will have to accept as long as restrictions are in place. Thanks St Louis/Granite City for a fun friendly stay. Can’t wait for a return visit.

We stayed there twice about a month apart. The first was great but the second I felt we were ripped off. They require us to buy a 90 degree elbow for the sewer hook up. Why wasn’t this required on our first visit. And why this it mention on their website. So I had to buy one from their store. I had a difficult installing it.

No problems. It was very easy reserving a one night stay from the road.

In and out without any staff available. Went smoothly.

Our stay could have been more enjoyable if the ma'am at the front desk was more pleasant. Overlooking that and it was fine. Attitude of your greeting is everything after driving all day.

I didn't know that it was GATEWAY RACING NIGHT. BUT I HAD A GREAT TIME.

The site was level and kept clean, the only draw back is the racing on Friday night, it was not to bad. Overall would stay again

Grounds were near an clean and its a beautiful area. The only complaint I had was there are trains running next to the facility and not just an occasional train, lots of trains. It was great for an overnight stay.

Nice quiet and clean campground. Level spots. We were able to get satellite signals but not all spots would. Convenient access from I-270.

Site was excellent, hard to find, we missed the park due to lack of signs going West on Old Alton Rd and making the turn into the access road to the park.

Unfortunately we did not feel comfortable at this KOA. All the kids playground was caution taped off, jumó pad was deflated. Place was not kept up. It was loud from planes, trains, semi trucks and a local Friday night race. Overall we were there one night and wouldn’t stay again unless some effort was put into maintaining the place.

Staff was not there when we arrived and wasn't there for hours. No attempt made to limit the damage like leave a welcome package with your site number and location. Place was generally run down. Located next to a truck depot with trucks idling, picking up Trailers and coming and going all night. Not enough room here to explain all the issues. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Did not like location. No propane

We had a nice pull through with a gravel crushed stone surface wide enough for walking along side your RV with all slide-outs extended, which is important should it rain so you do not track mud into your RV, especially with a travel-trailer or 5th wheel with steps. Friendly staff and clean sites & rest rooms.

Very pleasant host. VERY clean park. The only thing I would recommend improvement on is the dog park area. The grass was a little too tall. Not crazy, but taller than the rest of the camp ground area.

It was only one night but we will be back.
Sep 11, 2020
No one there, no notification to use late check in for site number even though it was 2:00 in the afternoon.

Ok

Good over night stop over when on a long road trip out west.

Clean and friendly, easy parking, nice dog park, laundry facilities, easy after hours check-in, adorable rates. Needed a sewer extension hose and a coupler. They had what I needed in the store, and the supplies weren't too expensive. Beautiful, well maintained park. We had a great experience there. 🥰😎

Out of the way Journey. Nothing too fancy. Even tho it's located in an industrial area, you don't even notice. Great if you are visiting the area and need a home base.
