The campground itself is fine - though the person who checked us in wasn't particularly welcoming. However, there should be some notice in the description that the speedway is *right next door*. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and all was well until ~8pm when the races started...and went on until 1am. It wasn't exactly the most restful experience and I would be very hesitant to stay again.

in an ok area but close to where we wanted to get to. We stayed there on a Friday night anced I thought the Space Shuttle was launching, turned out there was a motorcycle race 2 miles away until 11:00 PM. Its a noise you cant avoid no matter how high you turn up the AC. When I called the front desk the next morning and I asked what was going on, the women jokingly said oh yeah there was a race!

We were pleasantly surprised to find this nice oasis KOA in the city. It was quiet despite the surrounding industrial area. Staff was friendly,helpful and masked for safety.

Arrived late and left early. Quiet considering nearness to road, industry and RR tracks. Hardly knew you were that close.

My wife and I took a trip out west and we stayed at 10 different KOA’s along our route. I will not recommend this one. The staff was not friendly and we felt like if was an inconvenience we were there.

Great place for one night stay. But raining and campground was muddy. Not a good thing with dogs.

The site was very narrow. Our picnic table was right next to the neighbor's sewer connection. It's a good thing we didn't plan to eat there. There were no fire rings and we were told campfires were not allowed. The people were nice enough, but the lady at check in was short with me when I asked about laundry and wanted to do a load.

Nice campground considering what else is close by. No campfires but its not the campgrounds fault, its a county thing. We recommend staying here if your going to the raceway. Its really close and directions to get there are pretty straight forward.

A little tricky to get to but once you get there the grounds are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.

This is not one of the resort style KOAs but was clean, a nice pool (perfect temperature) and level sites. It is not far from World Wide Technology Raceway for fans of auto racing. Although it looks as if you are driving into a trucking company, the campground is surround by trees which gives a secluded feel from the outside surroundings. I heard the train twice during the night.

Very unkept. Weeds everywhere, grass needed mowing, guests weren’t allowed in the office or store. We only observed one person working there. I suggest looking elsewhere

A quick over night stay. Check out was at 10 which we aren’t use to at KOAs especially when the campground was almost completely empty - but it was fine. Very clean and friendly folks. Next time I will ask for a shady spot. August in Missouri is hot!

Upon arrival, the campground looked unkempt; the grass needed cutting. We were taken to a site in the front. This would have been fine for the one night we were staying, however, we weren’t able to get much needed rest. About 7:00 that night we began hearing the roar of race cars from a nearby round track accompanied by frequent passing train and whistle sounds, which ended near midnight! Unhapp

We stayed at the St. Louis KOA in Granite City for one night as we were heading to Denver. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the campground was clean and safe! We would stay there again!

One of the nicest KOA s we’ve ever stayed at. Attractive, neat and clean , nice pull thrus. Owner, family and staff couldn’t be nicer. Treated us like old friends, Thanks for taking us last minute and the pizza was exceptional !!

Small KOA with easy access. Gravel roads and sites with some long-term residents, but fairly quiet with room to walk your pets. Did not use any of the facilities due to the current pandemic, but the staff was following the protocols and we had a good four night stay.

The gravel RV parking spots were level. Each site had a shade tree which was very appreciated with the hot weekend. The picnic table was on grass but no rugs were allowed so it was wet in the morning and increased the insect activity in the evening. No campfires were allowed. The campground was well maintained other than the grass needed to be mowed when we arrived on Thursday.

Hard to rate higher due to the pandemic. Office and store closed, laundry by appointment. The pull through site was level and shaded, which was a plus.

Facilities are older but very clean. Pool was well kept. Landscaping and playground could use some maintenance and sprucing up. The giant bouncy pillow wasn’t inflated while we were there. Overall, it was an okay place to stay for one night so we could visit St Louis. The manager was very hospitable.

The campground was not marked very well. The grounds were unkept. The hostess was unfriendly. The showers were not easley accessable. My wife stated that we will not stay in that one again.

It was a last minute booking on our way further west. We literally pulled in slept and left early morning. I'd give 5 stars with easy and prompt booking.

Clean and friendly, easy parking, nice dog park, laundry facilities, easy after hours check-in, adorable rates. Needed a sewer extension hose and a coupler. They had what I needed in the store, and the supplies weren't too expensive. Beautiful, well maintained park. We had a great experience there. 🥰😎

Out of the way Journey. Nothing too fancy. Even tho it's located in an industrial area, you don't even notice. Great if you are visiting the area and need a home base.
