Because this KOA is a Journey, we expected much more. More than half of the customers were permanents or workers using it as their home base. Not a typical Journey kind of place.

Campground was nice. They are next to a race track, great if you are going to the races. A bit noisy if you want to sleep.

The worst KOA we have ever stayed at. The RV Park is sandwiched between a diesal truck shop and railroad tracks. The office had very limited hours and split into 3 hour increments. The laundry was very limited only when the office was open. The lady in the office needs to find a new job. Not friendly and short with people. Not your typical great KOA experience. Awful!

The man working there was friendly & professional, the campground was clean with shade trees. Things that make a great KOA were lacking. The parking space was not graded well and with blocks under one side of my camper, it was still not level. No 24 hour laundry--closes at 6 pm (way too early). The showers had lukewarm water (not hot) with shower heads that felt like pins and needles on the skin.

We did not understand with this KOA being a journey why the office was only open for an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon?

We have stayed here several times now on our journeys. It has a good playground. Nice area for pets, staff is friendly and helpful .

Request porch lights be on due coming in late and it was. Staff is helpful and friendly!!! I will definitely stay again. Close to St. Louis and cheaper than hotel chains. Perfectly fits my need especially visiting my son in college!!!

Nice park...just not great. Being that it is a “Journey” KOA, it was better than I expected. There was actually some personal camping space at my site that I haven’t had at other KOA journeys. The people were friendly and the park was kept clean. If you are working or playing in St. Louis, the commute back and forth isn’t bad at all! Overall, I enjoyed my five night stay!

It might be a little hard to find where ut is but ince there it is a very nice place. Nice trees well maintained, nice gravel road and site. Very clean. Easy access to St. Louis and stores. Owners are friendly and helpful. Thank you for a nice stay.

The only positives about this campground is that it was convenient to where we needed to be. I found most of the people working in the office to be unhelpful. It is overpriced for the condition of the campground in general. No pave sites, unkempt fire pits, and long grass. The showers were clean though. I would not stay here again.

Site is too tight for 40 ft rigs. You can do it but its not comfortable. It was ok for the night but mainly guys working in the area stay there. Guys were coming in and leaving all night. Its all gravel so pretty dusty.

Only negative was location by truck depot. Didn't bother us but might bother light sleepers. Very nice staff.

I would rate it very good except future customers should be told there is a race track close by and the noise is deafening until late at night! This was not on the KOA brochure when I booked it. Should be a notice that on certain days, there is very loud racing taking place.

Campsites were OK nothing great the only dumpster was all the way at the front of the campground by the office the people who ran the campground or end it not exactly sure where rude and very unfriendly not willing to help with information other than what was on the sheet that they gave you

It's in the middle of a industrial area. Very noisy with trucks starting engines at 5 AM and letting them run. . Race track close that makes noise until midnight. Very dark no lights in park. Very unsafe. Worst KOA I've stayed in, will not stay here again. Office not open

Very nice campground clean and well maintained, with a friendly and helpful host. My wife and I prefer KOA Campgrounds because they follow a strict corporate guideline that results in NO surprises and pleasant staying.

Race car track nearby kept up very loud noise until after 11pm. WiFi does not allow streaming. Staff not friendly. $50 a night, I expect better.

We asked about a possible late departure and the staff was not very friendly. We only wanted to know our options. Turned out we did not need it. Also, there should be some indication of direction to travel in the park since there's no room to pass when meeting another vehicle. This campground not in a very good neighborhood.

It is impossible to find this KOA after dark - it took us over 30 minutes and we finally found someone at a nearby business who knew where the KOA was located, otherewise we never would have found it. It is also located in an industrial area and it was very noisy in the morning when all the trucks left for work. I would recommend you find a different campground by St. Louis

Many long term campers. Biggest negative was the desk person who came across as surly and unfriendly. Came in late afternoon without a reservation for one night. She acted like we were infringing on her time. This is a definite Attitude problem. To pay $41+ for one night adds insult to injury.

Pros: Campground convenient to St. Louis, water pressure good, pool clean, bathrooms clean but small Cons: We were between what appeared to be full-timers which we don't find as pleasant as being around people who are also travelling; sewer connections were not good - they were way too high off the ground and you couldn't twist your sewer connections in. Next to an industrial trucking company

Nice tree filled KOA but in a heavy industrial area that was very noisy. To top that off the race track about a mile away had races into the late hours Friday night. The trains all night every night were the most disturbing. Nice place....bad location.

Office person was very business like. Not friendly or talkative. Escorted us to our site and left. Site was clean and efficient. It was very hot that day and hsd some issues with power to the air condition. Convenient.

Clean and friendly, easy parking, nice dog park, laundry facilities, easy after hours check-in, adorable rates. Needed a sewer extension hose and a coupler. They had what I needed in the store, and the supplies weren't too expensive. Beautiful, well maintained park. We had a great experience there. 🥰😎

Out of the way Journey. Nothing too fancy. Even tho it's located in an industrial area, you don't even notice. Great if you are visiting the area and need a home base.
