Nice staff, but location is sketchy. Industrial tanks and a wrecking yard on the way in, hookers 1 block away, obvious drug use/sales, gas station on corner is also creepy. Playground is nice, but lots of yellowjackets put an early end to play. If you book a place "by the playground great for kids" be aware there are no trees and you are closer to the street. Planned 2 nights, but left after one.

It was fine but the women's showers were very dirty with significant mold growing on the shower curtain.

Even though we only stayed one night it was great to have a nice spot. We enjoyed being outside in the evening in our lounge chairs. Really nice time.

While we didn't stay long, the nightime quiet due to location was much appreciated. The pool looked so inviting and trees were welcome.

Bathrooms are too far away from cabins. Staff is a bit rude.

Not the ideal location for a camp ground (noise level from heavy industrial district next door) and when it rains it's pretty much a lake for a while. For an overnight stop, it was up to KOA standards or better in everything else.

It was a good place for an over-nite stay. Sites were a little close. G-kids liked the swimming pool.

Very quick trip so not much to say but we enjoyed it. I was very thankful that the tent sites had covered areas because it rained the night we were there. We arrived late and were confused about where to go because our map did not have a site number or any directions on it. I appreciate that we could pick our own site but that should be specified and we should have been directed to the tent area

good clean and quiet sites -- only problem was we had rain that night and I had to perform the disconnects from the motor home in a mud hole -- why can't KOA's insure the area where the (W/E/S) hook ups are have adequate gravel or pavement to prevent having to disconnect in the mud and then track it into the RV.

This is a nice park. Wish we could have stayed more than a night to explore the area.

The best KOA (out of ten) that we’ve ever stayed in. Reasonable spacing between sites. Pleasant helpful employees. It’s in an industrial area but that had no impact on our visit. It’s not a party place so all the neighbors were quiet.

A surprising location, and not that scenic… but we had a great stay and the site was very convenient for St Louis. We would definitely stay again.

The facilities were clean. The pool was nice. It was so peaceful, I'd definitely stay there again. It was so close to everything we wanted to do.

Very convenient to 270 when traveling west. The staff was accommodating and helpful. Although tucked in by an industrial park, I was very pleased of the amenities. Best part it was on old Route 66. What a bonus!

The worst KOA I ever stayed in, the lady was rude they are next to a shooting range and rail road tracks. Trying to call for 3 hrs always busy. Most grass was dead it was a terrible place.

Loved the trees as most helpful with sun. Appreciated the pavilion by tents so in the pouring rain there was a space to put up and take down tent without getting drenched further!

The staff is friendly and cooperative. The facilities are adequate. It doesn’t have the amenities of some parks but all the basic elements are there. We stay there frequently.

Nice stay, we were pleasantly surprised. After reading the reviews we almost decided to skip this stop. But it was a nice stop, well maintained and comfortable.

The bathrooms were clean, showers had hot water, and pool was lovely! With that said... there was very little about this location to love. You enter a gravel road that goes passed a truck yard and some other kind of.... propane based business. The tent sites were not private or separated at all. We pitched our tent backwards so we could pretend we weren't camping in a grass floored parking lot

It’s a pretty campground with a lot of fun amenities. The staff are friendly and helpful. The campsites have shade trees and new picnic tables. We enjoyed a pleasant evening and a restful night before getting in our way.

Clean and friendly, easy parking, nice dog park, laundry facilities, easy after hours check-in, adorable rates. Needed a sewer extension hose and a coupler. They had what I needed in the store, and the supplies weren't too expensive. Beautiful, well maintained park. We had a great experience there. 🥰😎

Out of the way Journey. Nothing too fancy. Even tho it's located in an industrial area, you don't even notice. Great if you are visiting the area and need a home base.
