It is a beautiful, clean campground. Plenty of spaces and variety. The staff was friendly and helpful. Considering how close it is to I-44 it was very peaceful. Road noise was at a minimum and the occasional train wasn't even bothersome. I appreciated the Quiet Time hours. We had a very pleasant experience and will.most definitely be back.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The maintenance guy was awesome too! He even pulled a barrel train behind a golf cart for them, and they absolutely loved that! The jump pillow was awesome. This is a great place to bring your family. Very kid friendly but still quiet.

Tent site was not too well marked (T12) but it was not crowded and I figured out were it was. Tent site road was pretty rutted. I arrived after hours. Check in info was easy to find. Facility seemed nice. I didn't use much besides the bathrooms which were very clean!

The bathrooms were locked on the morning of 3/5/22 as we were getting ready to leave. I had to stop at a gas station before getting on the turnpike.

I would have rated this higher however the cabin definitely hadn't been cleaned very well. We were staying in a cabin that didn't allow pets. The main reason I paid extra to choose my cabin. There was dog hair everywhere. Our socks and clothes were covered. The floors had spots where it looked like something had been spilled. They offered to come clean, however we were already settled.

Stopped overnight. Arrived late. Very dark and dirt roads very rough. was ok for the night.

Pros: staff were friendly. Check in was smooth. Cons: playground is WAY too close to the busy street! The women’s bathroom was shut and the disabled bathroom was disgusting!

The staff was very accommodating. Our schedule changed while we were there and they made arrangements for staying the extra days easy.

Love the environment and set-up of this KOA. It was an overnight stay and our first time. It’s woodsy with plenty of space and cabins. We plan to check out this campground in the future for a longer stay during a warmer season and bring family.

Reservation process on the phone was very efficient, and I spoke with a very pleasant individual. Our site was rather muddy and we tracked mud and small pea gravel into our unit. Although I specifically requested sewer hook up, our assigned site had only electric and water. We arrived after the office had closed and had to use Site A01 as a dump station in the morning when we checked out.

All in all it was a good stay. Can’t really complain about it. The folks there were nice enough. The bathrooms and such were decent. It’s hard to judge the atmosphere on a winter stay because there isn’t much going on activity wise but seems like it would be a great place for a spring or fall camping trip.

Through no fault of the campground we stayed overnight with still a lot of snow on the ground. Our furnace malfunctioned in this cold snap making it a miserable overnight. The campground is beautiful but very difficult to navigate the pull through sites with a 43' fifth wheel. We would stay again... In the summer�

They were very friendly and helpful and having the office open was a plus in January. Nothing was usable as it is winter time which makes sense but the campsite looked like a part of the driveway and less like a campsite. It worked for an overnight stay but with no water accessibility I would not recommend during the off season

GPS was not correct. Phone with reservation information went dead so used other phone so our fault as well. I’m sure it’s hard to change GPS. Our site #43 was not numbered. Had to get out and walk to find it. Other than that we have loved every KOA we have stayed at. Thank you!

We were so grateful that they turned on the heater for us inside our Kamping Kabin! We got in late an we were very comfortable and able to go right to bed.

We just bought a brand new rig, when we were escorted to our site they put us in the muddyist site out there. There were plenty more sites to choose from.

We did a trip across the USA 10 years ago tent camping. St. Louis West KOA was our favorite. We came back this week in our Class A and its still our favorite campground! Love the large sites and the many amenities. The store is well stocked and the staff is very friendly! Thank you!

We stayed at the campground for more of our stay, as compared to the last time we visited, due to the pandemic. There happened to be a construction crew on-site (installing underground gas lines?) that were quite noisy during the day. It wasn't horrible, but it would have been nice to know about it ahead of time. The bathrooms were still very clean (as I remembered from our previous visit)!

The experience was quite good. I did like the location; close to the highways but tucked behind ridges so it was extremely quiet. The personnel were extremely helpful. The showers and laundry were adequate. I was disappointed that the WiFi was unusable (very weak signal; “awaiting replacement parts”).

We loved our stay. Temperatures dropped to single digits on our first night and the pipes burst. We were immediately upgraded at no charge. We can't wait to come back and stay again!

Showers and restroom were clean and warm with hot water in a cold day. We arrived at dusk and our assigned lot was Hart to locate. We were given a map but there was a light snow on the ground so road ways were hard to identify from lots. Lots did not have a lot # sign so we guessed where it was, successfully. The lot was not paved and it could have been more level but all went well. Hookups all ok

This campground is immaculate. The staff is always cleaning, maintains and working on the grounds-even in frigid weather. Also, they continually keep campers updated with relevant “freeze” conditions so as to minimize frozen pipes, etc. Plus, they are genuinely nice people. Always friendly. We just love staying here when we’re in the area.

It was awesome! The Caboose was so cute! I loved it! Wish we could have stayed longer. The only thing is that we couldn't figure out how to turn off the porch light and it was really bright. It would have been nice to have a curtain or something to block the light. Annoying, but definitely not enough to ruin the stay in any way. I hope to return someday!

Super nice staff. Clean grounds and plenty to do for the kids. Also, six flags is across the street so that is super nice for and extended stay.
