I stayed on a very windy cold weekend in March and the only suggestion that I would have is the ladies room needs a handle on the inside of the exterior door it's very hard to keep it from taking off in the Wind without smashing your fingers. And the map and paperwork that they gave me when I checked in said that cabins checked out at 11 and RVs at 12 but that was contrary to email that you sent

Double booked, no returned call back, rude staff, pool and sites not kept up , a nice view of the cemetery which they do not mention anywhere.

It was just for a single night as we were traveling home. Disappointed with the internet service. Otherwise the campground was good. Great showers.

The place was clean and everyone was friendly! The train across the road was very loud but that is my only complaint. We stayed at site b23 and we loved it.

Staff very nice. restrooms and laundry facilities were clean and well maintained. Sites are gravel and more uneven than I would like and pretty close together. Works fine as a base camp for exploring STL or an overnight stop for those traveling.

Positives: Bathrooms were excellent and well-maintained. Negatives: Campsite needed to be graded as I had to back out of the site to exit due to big ruts in the front of the site. Check-in person was a total waste. We arrived after dark and the instructions to locate our site was "you should be able to find it." This is the only KOA I have stayed at that had that type of response.

When I put the address in it took me to a different place! It was tough to find. My iPhone took me to a car dealership so just needs to be easier to find with Google Maps and or something

thanks to KOA, the only campground with all support we needed in this wintertime. we had a good comfortable stay with two nights to wait for better weather. if possible we see us next year again - but this time in the summer!!

The staff was great. They were very accommodating. The campgrounds however are not even. All of the campsites are uneven. Most are on a slope. The campground has a rustic feel and would be great if the campsites were level and not on slopes.

We stay here every year as we travel south for Spring Break. It’s just one night, but it’s always accommodating.

It is a beautiful, clean campground. Plenty of spaces and variety. The staff was friendly and helpful. Considering how close it is to I-44 it was very peaceful. Road noise was at a minimum and the occasional train wasn't even bothersome. I appreciated the Quiet Time hours. We had a very pleasant experience and will.most definitely be back.

The bathrooms were locked on the morning of 3/5/22 as we were getting ready to leave. I had to stop at a gas station before getting on the turnpike.

Pros: staff were friendly. Check in was smooth. Cons: playground is WAY too close to the busy street! The women’s bathroom was shut and the disabled bathroom was disgusting!

Love the environment and set-up of this KOA. It was an overnight stay and our first time. It’s woodsy with plenty of space and cabins. We plan to check out this campground in the future for a longer stay during a warmer season and bring family.

Reservation process on the phone was very efficient, and I spoke with a very pleasant individual. Our site was rather muddy and we tracked mud and small pea gravel into our unit. Although I specifically requested sewer hook up, our assigned site had only electric and water. We arrived after the office had closed and had to use Site A01 as a dump station in the morning when we checked out.

All in all it was a good stay. Can’t really complain about it. The folks there were nice enough. The bathrooms and such were decent. It’s hard to judge the atmosphere on a winter stay because there isn’t much going on activity wise but seems like it would be a great place for a spring or fall camping trip.

Through no fault of the campground we stayed overnight with still a lot of snow on the ground. Our furnace malfunctioned in this cold snap making it a miserable overnight. The campground is beautiful but very difficult to navigate the pull through sites with a 43' fifth wheel. We would stay again... In the summer�

They were very friendly and helpful and having the office open was a plus in January. Nothing was usable as it is winter time which makes sense but the campsite looked like a part of the driveway and less like a campsite. It worked for an overnight stay but with no water accessibility I would not recommend during the off season

Super nice staff. Clean grounds and plenty to do for the kids. Also, six flags is across the street so that is super nice for and extended stay.
