Trailer was clean, but water smelled very strongly of sulfur and was not drinkable. Toaster didn't work. Bathroom smelled awful. Outside lights didn't work. Two mini blinds missing from windows so had to put towel over window to have some privacy for dressing. Site was good.

We like the koa last year .However this year there was a sewer smell , dumpsters were overflowing which caused a lot of flys.We would put our trash out in the morning workers would drive by and not pick up until around 4or5 pm.hard to cook outside when hundreds of flys were all over everything. ��

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. We have moved the dumpsters this season, so they are away from all campsites. This is the time of year when more flies seem to be out everywhere. Many campers find that citronella candles or bug sprays are effective fly deterrents.

We stayed 7 nights and had a great time. Strafford employees are very nice and helped with all of our needs including keeping our group close to each other while still meeting the individual site needs. Emily in the office stands out the most and is super helpful each of our visits. We will definitely be going back next season.

Despite most campsites being vacant during our 2 day stay, our family's request to be near other family members was not granted. In fact, the 4 sites assigned couldn't be any further apart necessitating a $50.00 a day golf cart to be rented. Our RV rental had a putrid odor of urine that could not be remedied. Fan in bathroom, but no window for fresh air. The stench was beyond disgusting.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It looks like each member of your party did select a different type of site - cabins, RVs, safari tents, and RV sites. As those are in different areas of the campground, it was not possible to have you guys together. I apologize if that was not clear at booking.

Nice big sites. Only recommendation is that your entrance needs to be reengineered. One rv towing a car blocks all entry into the campground when the gate is closed. Should be a parking area or a separate entry for card holders.

This was my fourth stay here, and I absolutely love it. The campground is always clean, the staff is always friendly and accommodating to make your stay the best. I definitely will be back!

Glamping tent site #105 was beautiful! Clean,nice view and beds were very comfortable. Pool was dirty. Most bathrooms and showers were dirty. Arcade room dirty. Office store dirty. Basketballs at court were deflated. Nice playground for kids. Golf cart rental was fun. Understaffed and long wait to check in or get any service, check in was at 3pm room wasn’t ready until 5pm. Staff was pleasant.

Our family enjoyed a fantastic stay at Strafford/Lake Winnipesaukee South KOA. The cabins were clean and spacious. We had a fun time at the pool and waterpark. The all-around vibe was superb. Thank you!

Loved the campground but there were a few things that prevented me from doing 5 starts. Very very short staffed to the point things didn’t open or happen as scheduled. Golf carts could Barely Make it up the hills fully Charged. Cabins didn’t have the same items. Stayed multiple times in different delux cabins and have not have the same items in the kitchen each time. Water pressure was horrib

So when we first arrived it was good but found the bathrooms near use had a few broken toilets or where leaking. Once we told the office they had someone come and fix what they could. That was the only problem we had everything else was great and staff was super friendly.

Overall we had a great first stay and will be back! However, some constructive criticism, the pool patio was a little slimy by the fence that separates the splash pad area. I also believe there's an algae problem starting in the pool, it was visible on the bottom/sides of the pool and kind of grossed us out. We get that the world is short staffed but cleanliness should always been a priority.

This is probably a good KOA if you have children. I think that’s the reason golf carts are constantly zipping around the campsite, since the children’s section is down by the entrance. Otherwise it’s annoying. I would also suggest the owners hire one adult per shift to staff the grounds. I’ve stayed in much larger KOA’s with fewer golf carts and better service from adult staff.

The swimming pool is very crowded with not cleanness. The arcade is also needs cleaning ,update, better air movement. We did not go to movie due to crowdedness especially this Covid time. It needs some activity for younger childrern like 5-6 yrs old. The cabin was fine.

First time at this KOA. We were floored! Beautifully kept. Lots of things to do. The staff were outstanding. Maintenance were on top of everything. We had Grace help the night before check out to use the stay and play feature. That $30 for check out at 5 and not 11 is ridiculous! It was worth the money to sleep in, and get a day to still have fun!! 10/10 We even booked for end of month.

Excellent! No waiting checking in , in our RV. All the staff are extremely nice and helpful. Lots of staff working as well . Everything is VERY clean. The pool is lovely. Lots to do as well

Very nice and large site that was mostly private. The campground had lots of amenities and was kept up well. The gravel roads, like most campgrounds can get pitted however, this campground was consistently grading them. An interesting addition was a large number of yurts that looked comfortable and with covered porches.

We love staying at this KOA. The pool, slide, splash pad, and pond offer endless fun for our kids. Renting a kayak was so easy and fun! The staff are very friendly and quick to meet our needs. Great experience overall!

Nice small campground. It was a crazy time to stay, as tropical storm Henri came through. On Saturday night (before the storm hit) we were asked to be quiet at 11:15 pm ? On a Saturday night the quiet time should be 12 midnight? Just a suggestion! Other than that, great stay!

We renter one of the campers. Everything we ran water down any sink drain and opened the toilet cover the stench of sewer was horrible. We complained, they tried draining things and advised that the previous renters had thrown food down the toilet and they thought that a diaper was blocking the drain. To sum it up, this should have been taken care of before we arrived. Otherwise it was ok

Our family enjoyed the four days at the campground. The staff was very accommodating, polite and patient. The pool, water slide, paddle boats, kayaks and playground offered activities we all enjoyed. The campground was well maintained and I noticed staff power washing the water slide and pool area, a landscaping company maintaining the grounds. The Deluxe cabins were perfect!

The pool and slide are fun. The Glamping tents are nice. The issue: We reserved a Particular Site in person 2 months in advance. Our reservation history noted this but we were given a different site. One month prior someone had moved us and put someone else in that spot. Very disappointing. No one could explain this and we never heard back from management.

The pool was nice. The kids liked the water slide and pretty much everything else. The camp sites are pretty good sized didnt seem to be on top of one another. There was alot for the kids to do which is nice. But the bathrooms could of been kept up better . In the rules it says that kids have to be back at site by 10.30 PM but the employees was making the kids go back soon as it was dark.

Nice campground. Cabines were not clean.I had to have someone come clean after checking in under the couch was dirty sandals from the peoplebeforeus,candywrappers ect... ,staff came and cleaned under one couch leaving the other one the same Tv didn't work 1 night dryer was out of propane.I was only refunded for the money I spent on the dryer and not the wash I had to redo because the dryer was out

I can’t understand what justifies the high price. This place is run by young people, the showers were cold and one was broken, the laundry area wasn’t big enough for the size of the campground and was always dirty, the roads are dirt with large rocks and channels, there are golf carts zooming all day, especially at night when the teenagers start driving them. Campground rules are not enforced.

The place ws clean for the most part however I did not like the unorganization and how it was run by kids. There was more kids than adults as far as running the campground. They ran out of propane which left us with wet clothes and a cold pool.

We had an amazing first time experience here while staying in one of their campers. From staff to guests we had the best time ever and cannot wait to return!!

We rented a cabin the last week of September - so it wasn't too crowded. The place is immaculate & Grace (who works there), is an absolute peach!! Had the best time - never had to worry about being kept up by people partying or anything. Already looking forward to booking again next year!!
