Best KOA we’ve ever stayed in. Sites were large and well designed. Beautiful landscaping and pool. Close to Key West! We hope to return soon!

Fabulous site, privacy and very clean, only one criticism, no real grass for the dogs, the K9 area has artificial grass that hold the urine smell, didn't like that at all, it was also too small for the amount of visitors. Otherwise it was great, would come again

This location is a good base for activities in Key West but not a destination.Sites were easy to maneuver into with diesel pusher and had full hookups, wifi and cable, and awesome trash pickup service all day!. It was very expensive relative to inland KOA prices but in line with other Key campgrounds. My biggest disappointment was lack of things for young children -- no playground or kiddie pool

Great campground! We only stayed two nights but could have stayed here for the whole winter. We had so much room and the kids loved the pool and beach area. Can’t wait to come back!!!

There was no toilet paper in the women’s bathroom stalls in the early morning. Besides this issue the key west KOA was a beautiful place with plenty of paths for a nice dog walk or bike ride. Full bar with gorgeous pool. They picked up your garbage twice a day. Very nice KOA.

We only stayed 3 nights here but I could have stayed for much longer. It's a beautiful location that is all brand new. Just 20 min scenic drive and you are in Key West. The staff here were phenomenal. The only downside in the whole park was the laundry facility and showers were a little small.

First time to Sugarloaf & it was a great experience! Beautiful grounds, clean, quiet and well maintained. Wish the laundry had a change machine. We collect magnets from every place we stay, but they did not have the cool KOA magnets so we didn’t buy the generic one. We already booked for next year!

Well kept, kind employees, awesome amenities. Loved that the sites were a decent size. The new suites are going to be great! They need a trash can down at the beach since people were leaving trash on ground. Dog park was very stinky, even after they sprayed it.

Beautiful grounds! Staff was all very friendly and helpful. Pool and Hot tub were amazing. Sites were very private. We cannot wait to come back!

This place is all new and fabulous. The pool area is exceptional, with a bar! The dock amenities are all you could need. Very great experience staying here Christmas of 2021!

Still under construction for the hotels. Lots of construction sounds very early in the morning. The noseeums where outrageous and a big deterrent even with the recommended spray. You must be inside before dark. I suggest you make the trucks with fifth wheels park on their site and not in the road. Also, I would suggest a two pet limit per site. Thanks for rebuilding!

Camp site was very nice. The only issue is with the noseums or whatever bugs there were. It was just unbearable when they came out. As nice and as much fun that we had that made the trip a little bit of a downer. Would love to go back but I don’t know if we can with that situation

This was the best campground we have ever stayed at! The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Robin needs a raise at the front desk. She was extremely patient with us in reserving a site for next year. The internet and streaming was fantastic. The landscaping was gorgeous along with the pool and spa area. The couple working the cafe were helpful too. Merry Christmas!

Beautiful campground, good neighbors. The guy who led space seemed a bit upset and a little nasty. But we enjoyed our stay and will return soon

Beautiful campground in nice location. Only complaint was the amount of insects mainly the noseeums. They were terrible, made bring outside uncomfortable. I was bit up terms but making me very uncomfortable. They should consider an insect remediation service to control them, many other guest complained.

Well by far the most beautiful KOA I've seen the people are phenomenal the service is exceptional my only complaint is the bugs the chiggers were out of hand they were so bad that I posted pictures of my body on Facebook I applied deep woods off every 30 minutes all weekend and my legs are covered in bites fix this issue and your gold

A wonderful month at Sugarloaf KOA. The staff was exceptional w accommodating guests needs and keeping the campground in great condition. All facilities and areas were clean and tidy and RV sites landscaped nicely.

Reservation system is a little crazy. We had to move three times during our stay. After we moved from our waterfront site it was vacant for a day after our left. Robin was extremely helpful in consolidating our reservations that minimized the number of times we had to move. You would think over the Christmas Holiday period there would be a minimum stay requirement of at least 7 days.

Very nice waterfront sites, 20 miles from key west. Clean, nice pool and hot tub. Good amenities. Little pricey, but this is the Keys in winter!

It looks like the camp was recently rebuilt due to severe storm damage. The end result, however, is spectacular. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in anywhere. The landscaping is breath-taking. The architectural rocks along the edges of each site are wonderful. The paved paths with brick are great. The club house and pool feel every bit a resort which we don't really see other places. It is clean, quiet and beautifully maintained. The overall rating reflects old news. I believe if averaged today it is more like 9-10 than in the 7's. Quite a campground. Spaces are roomy and flat. Picnic table and fire pit. Some shade but mostly open. Utilities perfect. Electric 119-121V. Two sewer connections. Paved interior roads. Pristine. Quiet. Service high. Streaming internet (!) incredible (lots of local access points). Beautiful cable with dozens of channels. Alas, $186 is incredibly high but it was full and we were there...... Key West is 20 miles west. We camped at Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA Holiday in a Motorhome. Dry Tortugas National Park can be a half or all day trip. Flight is 35 minutes, ferry is just under 3 hours. There is also a lot in Key West itself which is 20 miles.
