We had an amazing stay . The campground and staff are a 10 out of 10. The construction noise was terrible. Up 6 days out of 7 at 6:45 am. But we still had an amazing time. Hoping that by our stay same time next year , the construction will be complete.

The new campground was the most beautiful KOA I’ve ever been to. They completely rebuilt it in a beautiful resort fashion. Bathrooms were immaculate. Tropical plants and privacy flower beds are between sites . I wish they would have created more than 4 campsites that allow tents for those of us who cannot afford the big RV rigs. And its sad that RVs can reserve these 4 sites as well.

Very enjoyable week at this newly rebuilt KOA. Grounds & sites are spacious, beautifully landscaped, & well kept. The staff is terrific. Friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful. Pool, cafe, bar, hot tub, marina, all you could ask for? We’ve already booked another stay?

Wonderful stay, amazing staff, gorgeous landscaping, one of the best pool/bar/restaurant areas we've even been to at an RV resort. The one criticism is regarding the pricing and labeling of the sites on the website. The "waterfront" sites are in front of mangroves. To pay an elevated cost for a waterfront site only to end up with a mangrove view was very frustrating.

This KOA was the absolute best and most beautiful we have ever stayed at. I give it 100 stars!!! The views, the sites, the pool area is beyond gorgeous, the staff sooo friendly, I could go on and on...True paradise!

There are many nice things about the park and all the renovations they are doing. But many of the changes show they have no idea what is important to RV users. There is no real grass in the park, the landscaping makes it hard to connect septic, the rocks lining the parking are a danger to RV tires, the septic connections are too high up and in the wrong spots,...All that results in just 3 stars.

Wonderful KOA. Our favorite to date. Not only is the campground located in a fabulous location, the sites are nicely sized, the place is well maintained, and it has a super helpful staff. The premier campground in the Lower Keys! We are already booked for next year.

We had a wonderful 7 days at KOA. We would go to key west in the morning & then spend the rest of the day at the pool and enjoying the other amenities . While at the pool we visited the bar for drinks and snacks. We had trouble getting our cable to work but the staff helped us figure out the problem.The staff were very friendly and helpful, made us feel right at home. We had a great time .

Beautiful newly rebuilt campground. Awesome staff including Tina,Cheryl and Kim at pub. Sites are landscaped beautifully and maintained daily. Had a waterfront site but FYI, the sand area behind you is not part of your site and is on first come basis. Definitely not a complaint, just a heads up. Everything was a positive experience. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Wow....best KOA we've stayed in... all new grounds with some ongoing construction. Beautiful pool/bar area. Live music one night we were there enjoying margaritas. Rented a pontoon boat from the onsite marina for the day. Mangrove Mama's restaurant short walk away. Yes... a bit pricey at $175/night so save up.

Fantastic place. Clean and new. Seems staff plans on keeping Sugarloaf that way. Always someone cleaning. We plan on returning.

The staff here was absolutely amazing. We had an issue with our television cable and Jim let us borrow his. All of the staff were incredibly friendly. Barb was so pleasant & helpful at check in. Steve had great recommendations. The park is so clean and well manicured. The views were spectacular. This is our new favorite place to stay. We are hoping to go back real soon.

Awesome place to stay. All the amenities needed for being in the Keys. Marina, boat ramp, boat rental, fuel and bait store. Pool area with bar and Cafe. Everyone was so laid-back and friendly. Only downside are the sand fleas/no-see-ums. We were on the water by the mangroves and dawn/dusk were bad. Bug spray and tent are necessary. Will be back!

Beautiful campground. We even saw a shark by the marina. Our only complaint was that the camper behind us was blaring loud music at all hours of the day and night.

Sugarloaf/Key West KOA RV Park was the best KOA or any other RV Park we've stayed. Extremely well kept with very nice sites. I would recommend it to anyone. dg

The grounds are beautifully maintained. Everyone was very nice. They come once every hour to collect your trash. It's a very nice place to experience tge Keys.

This is a wonderful resort campground. We were there 5 days and never got in a car except the day we went to Key West. We rented a pontoon boat one day right at the camp. The water here is beautiful! They have a very nice swimming pool and grill bar and hammocks. It is pricey but you get what you pay for. Great fire pits at your campsite. We were right on the water.

It looks like the camp was recently rebuilt due to severe storm damage. The end result, however, is spectacular. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in anywhere. The landscaping is breath-taking. The architectural rocks along the edges of each site are wonderful. The paved paths with brick are great. The club house and pool feel every bit a resort which we don't really see other places. It is clean, quiet and beautifully maintained. The overall rating reflects old news. I believe if averaged today it is more like 9-10 than in the 7's. Quite a campground. Spaces are roomy and flat. Picnic table and fire pit. Some shade but mostly open. Utilities perfect. Electric 119-121V. Two sewer connections. Paved interior roads. Pristine. Quiet. Service high. Streaming internet (!) incredible (lots of local access points). Beautiful cable with dozens of channels. Alas, $186 is incredibly high but it was full and we were there...... Key West is 20 miles west. We camped at Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA Holiday in a Motorhome. Dry Tortugas National Park can be a half or all day trip. Flight is 35 minutes, ferry is just under 3 hours. There is also a lot in Key West itself which is 20 miles.
