They ignored us every time we tried to order drinks and we were therefor an hour our group is not loud or trouble makers 60 or 70 years old and just wanted to relax at the pool and bar you should find some one who makes customers feel good instead of ignored

This is the best campground we have ever stayed at. Yea it’s brand new, but it was designed very well. There is enough to do onsite that you stay a week and not get bored. Love the bar and pool area. And the bathrooms are fantastic. The showers are roomy. Can’t wait to go back for a longer stay. Shout out to Laura for taking care of our special request for a site near the bathhouse! Thanks!

Very good

Really enjoyed our stay. They did a great job with the new renovation. One of the best in the Keys

Wonderful campground! Stayed 5 days and evidently it just reopened from a hurricane? Pool, hot tub, bar and grounds were fantastic! Everyone very friendly and helpful. Only minor issue was there were still working on the 2 buildings/motel. A little noisy during the day.

We had stayed at Sugarloaf Key Koa the three years prior to the hurricane. We were excitedly waiting for them to re-open. We were not disappointed. We felt as if we were at a resort in the Carribean except we had our house with us! The renovations are remarkable. The landscaping is lush and perfect. The pool and bar area are beautifully done.

Beach needs the seaweed cleaned up. Bar prices are way to high. $10 for a drink made with pre made mixes ( Island Oasis? ) is ridiculous. Overall like the campground & already scheduled a 7 day stay for April 2023.

Beautiful, newly renovated campground with nice amenities including a marina. Sites are level. Hookups are easy and convenient. Flip side, because it’s so nice and well located, it’s hard to get reservations, and due mostly to KOA booking technology/practices, you might have to move several times. The No See Ums are horrendous. The office, store, and onsite food closes early, even in high seas

SIMPLY ABSOLUTLY AMAZING!!!!

The only thing would like for you to keep the snack bar open later

This was the first time I have stayed here since all of the changes made due to the hurricane. I am very impressed! I loved the new pool and bar area, the RV spots are beautiful and the staff was wonderful!! I can’t wait to come back!!

nice amenities pool toys for kids unfortunately, campground is poorly laid out (greed) once you finally get into your space there is plenty of room. i just do not like to bother fellow campers in order to get parked neigh too move their vehicles when entering or leaving. Otherwise, you will need to wait outside, staff is as helpful as possible not much they can do if people leave.

Pool was great, site was spacious. Very nice!!

Looks really great after the rehab. Spaces are fantastic. Why the low marks, too much floral and fauna invited huge amount of no see-Ums. Pool seems smaller, drinks are pricey and no ice cream for mudslides. Think it will be a hit until non rv folks start renting the motel rooms. Sorry for the negative, but it is MHO. Thanks for the February stay.

Beautiful RV resort. Clean bathrooms& laundry room. Enjoyed the frozen drinks by the pool and private beach. Only thing was the bugs at night. I would recommend that you tell your campers when they arrive so they can be ready. Other than that we loved it!

Not the campsite I thought I was getting. We backed up to a fence not to the mangrove trees as the website said in the description last March.

Very clean and people were friendly.

Absolutely beautiful campground. So well maintained. Enjoyed the cafe. Did not use the pool but many people did. So nice to take walks at night. Our site was a great pull through. Would definitely return if our travels bring us to Sugarloaf.

We loved everything-the bar was nice, bathrooms very clean, staff was friendly. It was a beautiful location and boating was a great offering as well. We definitely would come back! The only issue we had was lots of no-see-ums biting us. If there was an organic way to keep the bugs at bay that would be great.

Really, really nice place to stay. We will go again.

Our site was beautiful, large and very well kept. Every employee we came in contact with was wonderful, happy, helpful and made us feel very welcome. Everything was “ no problem “. The key lime coladas were fantastic, renting a kayak was no hassle and reasonable, the pool area was inviting and clean. A top ten spot to stay. We will be back.

It looks like the camp was recently rebuilt due to severe storm damage. The end result, however, is spectacular. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in anywhere. The landscaping is breath-taking. The architectural rocks along the edges of each site are wonderful. The paved paths with brick are great. The club house and pool feel every bit a resort which we don't really see other places. It is clean, quiet and beautifully maintained. The overall rating reflects old news. I believe if averaged today it is more like 9-10 than in the 7's. Quite a campground. Spaces are roomy and flat. Picnic table and fire pit. Some shade but mostly open. Utilities perfect. Electric 119-121V. Two sewer connections. Paved interior roads. Pristine. Quiet. Service high. Streaming internet (!) incredible (lots of local access points). Beautiful cable with dozens of channels. Alas, $186 is incredibly high but it was full and we were there...... Key West is 20 miles west. We camped at Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA Holiday in a Motorhome. Dry Tortugas National Park can be a half or all day trip. Flight is 35 minutes, ferry is just under 3 hours. There is also a lot in Key West itself which is 20 miles.
