The staff was fantastic and made every effort to make our stay an incredible experience. The rebuild of the facility was done with great planning, care and in my opinion everything was done right. The new park should be a new bench mark for all KOA’s to work toward. Thanks For a Great experience and stay… Our family will be back.. Dave

One of the best KOAs we’ve stayed at! (And we’ve been to a lot!). Beautiful sites with great, thoughtful layout & amenities. Bummer that it appears booked up already for next year so we might not be able to come back!

This had to be the best KOA that I have stayed at. The staff is great, and campground is beautiful. Great location and easy to get to Key West. See you next year!

We very much enjoyed are stay. Staff is friendly and always help full . Look forward to staying again. Would not reccommend sites that have small wooded area behind them due to no see um bugs.

I loved Sugarload key and have already booked my stay for next year. My wish list would be the food in the pub open later..or just pizza until 10 pm. Chairs would be great by the beach. and more chairs at the pool All in all, a great stay and a fantastic campground. I loved the live music at the Pub. The wifi was amazing and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back

Everything was wonderful…until the people in site 406 put up a large banner saying “Biden sucks”. Other parks have regulations about displaying profane or offensive signs. It is for this reason that we would not stay here again.

Great RV Park! Best WiFi we've ever had & good cable! Nice sized sites with good space from neighbors. Nice pool, friendly & helpful staff, trash & RECYCLE pickup. The sites' large white rocks look great, but we don't care for them. We'd rather have a concrete pad & grass. We were disappointed there aren't activities yet. Still the best RV Park we've stayed at in the Keys!

When I checked in I asked if they happen to have an extra night available for us. And the front desk lady found us one. Staff very nice, very clean park, I just can't say enough about this place. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice beautiful new resort, completed vacation suites will be looking directly down into some campsites, dog park has fake grass....saw them spraying it with something as we were leaving but if we return I need to find out what they are spraying, office staff friendly but not a lot of the other staff.

Beautiful campsites, a little tight backing in/out with the curved rock landscaping. The pool area is nicely done, felt like an oasis. The beach was small but extremely clean. It was nice to launch kayaks right from the campground. Great location to get to Key West. Beautiful, big restrooms and a nice laundry room. Need to provide a coin machine or credit card option for laundry.

Great place to stay! Very friendly and beautiful grounds! There is late night activity around the bar/pool, so if you have little children try to get a site with some distance from this area if you want early bedtimes. Otherwise, we LOVED it here.

. We were married in key West and come back to visit every 5 years to celebrate. We have now retired and have a Travel Trailer. Howard Livingston is from our home town and we have always followed him and he promoted KOA So we decided to stay at Sugarloaf KOA for our 20th celebrations we loved it so much we’ve already made reservations for next year!!!

Absolutely wonderful!!! The most beautiful campground with excellent individual sites stunningly groomed for the campers enjoyment. Outstanding!!!!! Shower, restroom, laundry areas immaculately clean.

I have never seen a more beautiful KOA from Alaska to Florida as this one. The landscaping is well thought out and beautiful, every site is in its own perfectly defined boundary. The restroom and showers are clean, neat and airy. This is truly a five star resort that more KOAs should try to copy.

Fantastic pool, bar, outdoor lounge, vegetation and hot tub. Bathrooms super clean and bright. Campsite was full, but barely anyone in pool and hot tub at end of the day.

Beautiful park. New and pristine. Landscaped to the max. All sites outlined w big coral rocks so it’s hard pulling in and out. Also dangerous getting bins. Pool chairs are limited and hard! Bartenders, a bit surly. Roads, very dark so walkers, beware! Beach is a little wider than a lounge chair. Reservation system discourages return customers.

The place is gorgeous! Big site with nice landscaping! The people were very friendly and helpful. The pool/bar and restaurant were excellent. The bathrooms and laundry spotless and everything worked. Hands down the best KOA we have ever stayed in!! Thank you

Loved the stay. Staff was great. Tiki Bar Staff Cheryl, Kimberly and Kim are excellent and so kind. Hope to see all three again next year. Swimming pool and hot tub area is beautiful..

The campground is amazing, wonderful pool area, great sites, we loved that all sites are covered by plants and flowers. This gives you more privacy and a more lovely "terrass" feeling. The ocean front sites are amazing, but we also liked the "regular" sites (we booked both). All sites give plenty of space for sitting outside. The pool area and the bar with life music we enjoyed also a lot.

It looks like the camp was recently rebuilt due to severe storm damage. The end result, however, is spectacular. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in anywhere. The landscaping is breath-taking. The architectural rocks along the edges of each site are wonderful. The paved paths with brick are great. The club house and pool feel every bit a resort which we don't really see other places. It is clean, quiet and beautifully maintained. The overall rating reflects old news. I believe if averaged today it is more like 9-10 than in the 7's. Quite a campground. Spaces are roomy and flat. Picnic table and fire pit. Some shade but mostly open. Utilities perfect. Electric 119-121V. Two sewer connections. Paved interior roads. Pristine. Quiet. Service high. Streaming internet (!) incredible (lots of local access points). Beautiful cable with dozens of channels. Alas, $186 is incredibly high but it was full and we were there...... Key West is 20 miles west. We camped at Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA Holiday in a Motorhome. Dry Tortugas National Park can be a half or all day trip. Flight is 35 minutes, ferry is just under 3 hours. There is also a lot in Key West itself which is 20 miles.
