We loved our stay. The main suggestions since you are new would be these (of which many people were also stating). The landscaping is lovely but too many infringinging coral rocks & trees right at site entrance to easily get into sites with big rigs or allow awnings out. The trees also will only grow larger. The reservation process is quite challenging. We moved 2 times w/small rigs in larger site

This is the most amazing KOA we have stayed in so far. So many amenities. Love the beach side spot. This is the FIRST place that we did not have to level, once backing into our spot, even though the pads are not concrete. That have been packed with small rocks and the pad is level. We don't have auto levelers yet on the RV, so appreciated not having to do that task. Very nice people and place.

We were only there for two days, wish we could have stayed longer. Loved the pool area and bar.

We will definitely be back. Beautiful pool area with a hot tub, fire pits, games restaurant and bar. The bathrooms and showers were impeccably clean. We only stayed for 2 nights in between other places. Next time we will stay longer for sure and have more time to relax on the beach and maybe rent a boat.

Thoroughly enjoyed it and are looking forward to coming back next year. Comments - I was upset and surprised that guests were allowed to fly political flags on the property Once the condos open up, more recliners will definitely be needed around the pool area. We had to take our own chairs each time.

Has a great month of January 2022 here. Staff and surrounds could not of been better. Construction was a bit of a distraction but understand. Booked again 2023

While the rates were expensive, the KOA was excellent. The place was clean and orderly and we loved the pool and bar. We would return again,

Only negative was that construction noise started around 7:30 am, before quiet time ended.

Too many moves for one stay! Need a better system to relocate people coming in so campers already here do have to move to another site. Other than that, it was wonderful!!!!

Very nice. When did they start booking well over a year. Went into office to try to reserve same spot and she said sorry booked in til March Said usually they don’t book over a year. I guess new rules. Use to be if you were on the site you would first to renew the following year. Barbara and her husband are both wonderful people. Barbara does a good job in office.

The only problem I encountered: A bartender at the on-site bar demanded a tip from a patron buying drinks. She was not able to speak good English, couldn't understand the demand this bartender was making. After paying a hugh bar bill ($15 each for 3 Mojitos, this price is a little steep), she did not leave a tip. The bartender told her that no one at the bar would wait on her again. Rude!!!

The KOA is a beautiful facility with every amenity that a upscale camper would desire… Friendly, clean with gorgeous plantings of many tropical flowers and trees… A bocce court and other games adjacent to The swimming pool and hot tub… entertainment in the airstream facade bar area… there is a marina with kayak, boat, bike rentals.. the marine store has snacks, beer and bait…. Loved it. We were in a tent campsite. The only complaint is the 3 lights that are on the outside of the bathrooms,They shine right onto/into your tent. It is so bright from inside your tent at night, it makes it hard to fall asleep from the brightness. We tried to add things on our tent to cover /block the light from hitting our tent, but it really didn't have anything along that would work.

Love everything here… however , one rule should be no pets on the small beach due to small children playing in the sand after dogs Pee not safe or healthy! Only issue I seen ! This is amazing place !

We would have rated our stay a 5 and given a 10 for friend recommendations but we feel that we were cheated. Myself, my brother and my nephew all reserved Mangrove sites and we were moved without our knowledge. A year ago we paid more online for the Mangrove site and in my opinion that was a contract. It's not our fault that the prices have now gone up and you can make a few more bucks....

Our stay was short but great! We loved the sites and the landscaping. The pool area was beautiful and we enjoyed the nighttime music. The employees were very friendly.

We stayed there before Hurricane Irma and the transformation has been remarkable! It is very nice, staff nice and like the layout where sites are not too crowded and the vegetation is between! A little disappointed in the food choices at restaurant and the bar prices but overall awesome!

Campground was better than expected. Sites were large, level, and very well landscaped. Staff extremely helpful in navigating our stay for the following year. Poolside bar wasn’t to bad either.

It looks like the camp was recently rebuilt due to severe storm damage. The end result, however, is spectacular. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in anywhere. The landscaping is breath-taking. The architectural rocks along the edges of each site are wonderful. The paved paths with brick are great. The club house and pool feel every bit a resort which we don't really see other places. It is clean, quiet and beautifully maintained. The overall rating reflects old news. I believe if averaged today it is more like 9-10 than in the 7's. Quite a campground. Spaces are roomy and flat. Picnic table and fire pit. Some shade but mostly open. Utilities perfect. Electric 119-121V. Two sewer connections. Paved interior roads. Pristine. Quiet. Service high. Streaming internet (!) incredible (lots of local access points). Beautiful cable with dozens of channels. Alas, $186 is incredibly high but it was full and we were there...... Key West is 20 miles west. We camped at Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA Holiday in a Motorhome. Dry Tortugas National Park can be a half or all day trip. Flight is 35 minutes, ferry is just under 3 hours. There is also a lot in Key West itself which is 20 miles.
