We love it so much here that we keep staying longer! Thank y’all for you extra kindness Margaret and Aunt Elizabeth

All great…except…turning radius for RVs is not adequate. Site 904, pull through. My rig is 40 feet and the attendant had to move rocks so I could pull in. When I pulled out my back tires scraped the rocks.

Lovely campground. Very clean.

Our full hookup patio site was a perfect fit for our motorhome and cargo trailer and the plantings provided a lovely sense of space and privacy. The amenities were very nice from the immaculate pool and pub area to the beach and outdoor games. Thank you steve for the expert escort and barbra for the seamless checkin. We look forward to returning next year!

It was great but could use spraying for no-see'ums. Otherwise, the facility was beautiful.

If you like staying in a construction site, this is the place. I almost hit a fence due to very tight parking. Too busy and too noisy.

Everything was way better than we even expected !

Very relaxing stay. The park is very clean and has a nice pool area with a tiki bar and also music on the weekends. Location is nice too and close to the end of Key West.

Love the sites in this koa! The pool and bar were a definite favorite! Hope to see you next year!!

The camp grounds are great but this was the second stay since reopening, I was surprised to see how many people ignored the notice no dogs in the pool area. Also we were at the entertainment night with Howard Livingston, who was very good, but the charge for four Baileys drinks that were no more than a shot each was a total of $56 which is a little pricey, needless to say we only had one drink.

We had a great time and stay at Sugarloaf Key/KOA. This KOA is a RV Resort. Beautiful landscaping and spacious sites. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed all the amenities and the live entertainment. Marina store was always well stocked with fishing bait and tackle. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked for Jan 2023!

Location & amenities were top notch, but I have never I countered such non-accommodating people! We requested a slot next to our travel companions by email & by phone (mo. before), never heard resolution or solutions. Arrived & was laughed at for asking to be near each other, no discussion. Staff throughout the park was rude about road space, trash, etc. plus construction when told it was done!

Friendly Staff, park is beautiful with foliage, the RV slip given was next to a building under construction, lot of noise, workers watching what we did, had to request a move to a better spot. Then the insects begin to attack, No See Ums and tiny spiders that caused my wife to go to Hospital for treatment of spider Bites. Tow vehicle broke down, park had no emergency plan and were forced to out.

Amazing, organized and super clean campground with plenty of activities to keep your families busy or if relaxation is on the agenda for the day, that also accommodating. Thank you for making our stay very pleasurable. We cannot wait for our return!

Our stay was wonderful, facilities we very clean and 99% of the staff was friendly n helpful.. But there is one person named Tony that was grumpy and he was rude to ppl.

Completely rebuilt. Roads are asphalt surface with white rocks on each site. Neat and clean. Perfectly landscaped. Pool and bar: Great! My only negative was the effort involved in entry and exit to our site. We parked next to a path which had a flower bed on each side near the road making exit impossible with a big rig....our neighbors moved the rocks lining the bed so we could make the turn out.

Best looking KOA we’ve ever been to very nice people loved it a lot
Jan 15, 2022
The perfect spot for our Keys vacation. Easy access to the channel for SUPing, approx 1 ml across so a slight challenge without being overwhelming and canals on the other side to explore so paddling was perfect! The campground was pristine! All sites level, landscaping is impeccable, all buildings spotlessly clean, staff super friendly & great, 30" to Key West. We would definitely go back

It looks like the camp was recently rebuilt due to severe storm damage. The end result, however, is spectacular. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in anywhere. The landscaping is breath-taking. The architectural rocks along the edges of each site are wonderful. The paved paths with brick are great. The club house and pool feel every bit a resort which we don't really see other places. It is clean, quiet and beautifully maintained. The overall rating reflects old news. I believe if averaged today it is more like 9-10 than in the 7's. Quite a campground. Spaces are roomy and flat. Picnic table and fire pit. Some shade but mostly open. Utilities perfect. Electric 119-121V. Two sewer connections. Paved interior roads. Pristine. Quiet. Service high. Streaming internet (!) incredible (lots of local access points). Beautiful cable with dozens of channels. Alas, $186 is incredibly high but it was full and we were there...... Key West is 20 miles west. We camped at Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA Holiday in a Motorhome. Dry Tortugas National Park can be a half or all day trip. Flight is 35 minutes, ferry is just under 3 hours. There is also a lot in Key West itself which is 20 miles.
