Well kept, kind employees, awesome amenities. Loved that the sites were a decent size. The new suites are going to be great! They need a trash can down at the beach since people were leaving trash on ground. Dog park was very stinky, even after they sprayed it.

Beautiful grounds! Staff was all very friendly and helpful. Pool and Hot tub were amazing. Sites were very private. We cannot wait to come back!

This place is all new and fabulous. The pool area is exceptional, with a bar! The dock amenities are all you could need. Very great experience staying here Christmas of 2021!

Still under construction for the hotels. Lots of construction sounds very early in the morning. The noseeums where outrageous and a big deterrent even with the recommended spray. You must be inside before dark. I suggest you make the trucks with fifth wheels park on their site and not in the road. Also, I would suggest a two pet limit per site. Thanks for rebuilding!

Camp site was very nice. The only issue is with the noseums or whatever bugs there were. It was just unbearable when they came out. As nice and as much fun that we had that made the trip a little bit of a downer. Would love to go back but I don’t know if we can with that situation

This was the best campground we have ever stayed at! The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Robin needs a raise at the front desk. She was extremely patient with us in reserving a site for next year. The internet and streaming was fantastic. The landscaping was gorgeous along with the pool and spa area. The couple working the cafe were helpful too. Merry Christmas!

Very friendly staff. Nicest laundry facility I’ve seen at a campground, though a place to sit and wait either inside or out would be nice. The atmosphere was great.

Beautiful campground, good neighbors. The guy who led space seemed a bit upset and a little nasty. But we enjoyed our stay and will return soon

Beautiful campground in nice location. Only complaint was the amount of insects mainly the noseeums. They were terrible, made bring outside uncomfortable. I was bit up terms but making me very uncomfortable. They should consider an insect remediation service to control them, many other guest complained.

Well by far the most beautiful KOA I've seen the people are phenomenal the service is exceptional my only complaint is the bugs the chiggers were out of hand they were so bad that I posted pictures of my body on Facebook I applied deep woods off every 30 minutes all weekend and my legs are covered in bites fix this issue and your gold

A wonderful month at Sugarloaf KOA. The staff was exceptional w accommodating guests needs and keeping the campground in great condition. All facilities and areas were clean and tidy and RV sites landscaped nicely.

Reservation system is a little crazy. We had to move three times during our stay. After we moved from our waterfront site it was vacant for a day after our left. Robin was extremely helpful in consolidating our reservations that minimized the number of times we had to move. You would think over the Christmas Holiday period there would be a minimum stay requirement of at least 7 days.

Very nice waterfront sites, 20 miles from key west. Clean, nice pool and hot tub. Good amenities. Little pricey, but this is the Keys in winter!

Our 6th trip down since the July re-opening and has become our go-to favorite. Great location, staff and just an overall first class resort operation.

Very enjoyable week at this newly rebuilt KOA. Grounds & sites are spacious, beautifully landscaped, & well kept. The staff is terrific. Friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful. Pool, cafe, bar, hot tub, marina, all you could ask for? We’ve already booked another stay?

Wonderful stay, amazing staff, gorgeous landscaping, one of the best pool/bar/restaurant areas we've even been to at an RV resort. The one criticism is regarding the pricing and labeling of the sites on the website. The "waterfront" sites are in front of mangroves. To pay an elevated cost for a waterfront site only to end up with a mangrove view was very frustrating.

This KOA was the absolute best and most beautiful we have ever stayed at. I give it 100 stars!!! The views, the sites, the pool area is beyond gorgeous, the staff sooo friendly, I could go on and on...True paradise!

There are many nice things about the park and all the renovations they are doing. But many of the changes show they have no idea what is important to RV users. There is no real grass in the park, the landscaping makes it hard to connect septic, the rocks lining the parking are a danger to RV tires, the septic connections are too high up and in the wrong spots,...All that results in just 3 stars.

Wonderful KOA. Our favorite to date. Not only is the campground located in a fabulous location, the sites are nicely sized, the place is well maintained, and it has a super helpful staff. The premier campground in the Lower Keys! We are already booked for next year.

We had a wonderful 7 days at KOA. We would go to key west in the morning & then spend the rest of the day at the pool and enjoying the other amenities . While at the pool we visited the bar for drinks and snacks. We had trouble getting our cable to work but the staff helped us figure out the problem.The staff were very friendly and helpful, made us feel right at home. We had a great time .

Beautiful newly rebuilt campground. Awesome staff including Tina,Cheryl and Kim at pub. Sites are landscaped beautifully and maintained daily. Had a waterfront site but FYI, the sand area behind you is not part of your site and is on first come basis. Definitely not a complaint, just a heads up. Everything was a positive experience. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

It looks like the camp was recently rebuilt due to severe storm damage. The end result, however, is spectacular. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in anywhere. The landscaping is breath-taking. The architectural rocks along the edges of each site are wonderful. The paved paths with brick are great. The club house and pool feel every bit a resort which we don't really see other places. It is clean, quiet and beautifully maintained. The overall rating reflects old news. I believe if averaged today it is more like 9-10 than in the 7's. Quite a campground. Spaces are roomy and flat. Picnic table and fire pit. Some shade but mostly open. Utilities perfect. Electric 119-121V. Two sewer connections. Paved interior roads. Pristine. Quiet. Service high. Streaming internet (!) incredible (lots of local access points). Beautiful cable with dozens of channels. Alas, $186 is incredibly high but it was full and we were there...... Key West is 20 miles west. We camped at Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA Holiday in a Motorhome. Dry Tortugas National Park can be a half or all day trip. Flight is 35 minutes, ferry is just under 3 hours. There is also a lot in Key West itself which is 20 miles.
