Perfect location! The staff was super friendly and very helpful. My husband loved having a bait shop right on the property.

This RV park has been rebuilt after the hurricane. All new with really beautiful trees, plants and flowers. Wide pads and just a wonderful place as they just reopened in July. Great hosts and only about 12 miles from Key West. The nicest KOA we have stayed at. Barbara was helpful with great places to eat.

Great customer service from staff. It was quiet. The people staying were also friendly and polite. Our three families loved it and can’t wait to go back fir a longer time.

Fabulous accommodations, staff loves Sugarloaf KOA & the grounds reflect that! Pool & game area outstanding! Morning dolphins special, the ability to launch our boat or rent a boat for Key water activities very thankful!

They are still finishing this park. Really nice when we were there and adding a lot more landscaping and services.

Absolutely beautifully remodeled. You’ve taken a great location and made it amazing! With a prime location, dog park, water access, Pub, Store, very clean, landscaped, welcoming and friendly team and all of the amenities this KOA is definitely our choice to vacation annually!

Beautiful relaxing campground. However they advertise amenities that they have not setup yet, big example is not having food available at the pub in the evening. When the renovations are complete it will be first class.

Campground very clean, Staff very friendly & helpful. Would like to recommend a Shuttle to Key West for the Campers without a Vehicle. Otherwise our stay was amazing!!

Incredible park! All totally rebuilt and the amenities are fantastic. It is like staying at a top tier resort. The location is great and staff was amazing. Definitely sets the bar for all other parks we will visit.

Beautiful rebuild. Great location. Would definitely stay next time we are in the Florida Keys.

It is a beautiful park. The staff are so friendly. Pool was so nice and the bar area was fun.

We have been staying at this KOA for over 20+ years (pre Hurricane Irma). The NEW and improved version is absolutely beautiful, great job guys!! The staff has always been very friendly and that hasn't changed a bit. 20 miles away from the craziness of Key West, worth every penny!

Beautiful site apparent that they are still rebuilding. The space are very tight when you have your slides out, difficult to get to storage compartments. Very easy to negotiate the park with larger rvs

Our Key West trip was a bucket list item being fulfilled and the Sugarloaf KOA made it perfect with its absolutely perfect environment in looks, amenities, cleanliness, and services.

Fantastic brand new facility which when completed will be beyond compare. Very convenient, perfect setting along the water and plenty of great amenities including the awesome pool bar area. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff who go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. Will definitely be back as our go to spot in the Florida Keys!

The camp site was amazing. Everyone was so accommodating with smiling faces all around. Our campsite was right on the water, I would suggest this location. It was so beautiful. The whole campsite was very clean and well kept. A lot of activities for the kids. Definitely going back!!!

Campground was nice. Bathroom and pool area was great. Oceanfront campsite was not worth the extra money: tiny beach area and view looking at the road. I was disappointed with the actuality vs. the description on the website and wished I'd booked a standard site instead.

This KOA is nicely laid out. They haven’t been open long after the Irma remodel. The road to sites is blacktop that weaves through the park. The sites are wonderfully level pebble rock with a large patio. The patio has a large fire pit and heavy composite chairs and a table. You’ll love the pool with one of the few KOAs with a bar. Friendly place. Give this KOA a tr…about 30 minutes to Key W

A beautiful work in progress. Easy access to bus to Key West. Great WiFi and cable TV. Disappointed that Happy Hour is only $1 off mixed drinks and beer. Corn Hole boards are great…need to have a complete set of bags available.

We had a great stay! Large sites, beautiful landscaping, nice pool. Rocky beach, but we spent most of our time at the pool. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Showers were nice, just needed more hooks. 35 foot RV with tow vehicle.

It was a great stay the only thing I did not like was the fake grass at the dog park

Very clean, friendly staff, new pool, resort-like feeling. Only complaint is the sand fleas are bad.

Gorgeous waterfront sites with lots of space. The pool and bar area are just beautiful. Cannot wait to see it all finally completed. A little more shade will be wonderful when the trees start to fill in. We will definitely be back next year! Just a suggestion…It would be great to have some type of transport ( maybe a golf cart?) to & from the bus stop…. It was a long dark walk back to camp

Nice enough for an R/V place. The campground is all new, completely re-built from the ground up after Hurrican Irma wiped it out. The "beach" is a narrow strip of imported sand held in place by some coral rocks, leading to a rocky, seagrassy entrance to the channel for swimming.

Very nice KOA EXPERIENCE. Beautifully decorated. Loved the pool and hammocks!

I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The brand new rebuilt campground was gorgeous and easy to navigate. The sites are spacious and beautifully landscaped. Hookups are easy to reach and all new. Pool area was absolutely perfect and the workers were great and so nice. I will definitely come back.

The KOA is beautiful and well done!! We had a great 12 days there. The pool and bar area is the greatest!! Would go back for sure!!

Beautiful campground. However, the rocks used for the landscape can be treacherous, especially when connecting your hook-ups.

It looks like the camp was recently rebuilt due to severe storm damage. The end result, however, is spectacular. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in anywhere. The landscaping is breath-taking. The architectural rocks along the edges of each site are wonderful. The paved paths with brick are great. The club house and pool feel every bit a resort which we don't really see other places. It is clean, quiet and beautifully maintained. The overall rating reflects old news. I believe if averaged today it is more like 9-10 than in the 7's. Quite a campground. Spaces are roomy and flat. Picnic table and fire pit. Some shade but mostly open. Utilities perfect. Electric 119-121V. Two sewer connections. Paved interior roads. Pristine. Quiet. Service high. Streaming internet (!) incredible (lots of local access points). Beautiful cable with dozens of channels. Alas, $186 is incredibly high but it was full and we were there...... Key West is 20 miles west. We camped at Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA Holiday in a Motorhome. Dry Tortugas National Park can be a half or all day trip. Flight is 35 minutes, ferry is just under 3 hours. There is also a lot in Key West itself which is 20 miles.
