Great staff! Amenities were awesome love the people at the Marina!

Other than a lack of a great margarita and some key lime pie at the pub, the place is amazing! Beautiful rebuilding job! A shuttle out to key west would be great, too!

Awesome stay. very nice place.

Great! But bathrooms/showers/laundry were WAY TOO COLD!!
Feb 28, 2022
Very disappointed. No activates organized by the KOA. Bingo, ice cream social, trivia No playground for kids. Drinks at the bar cost more than drinks in a restaurant. Not enough chairs at the pool. Live music at the pub: only a 1/4 of campers can enjoy the show from tables and seats. Worst bartenders: rude and slow. Be ready to wait

Amazing experience! Great location for exploring the lower keys. The campground is very well organized with everything you need. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Outstanding amenities.

We had a lovely location. The entire site was clean. The pool tiki bar and area were outstanding. Staff was friendly, professional and fun. One suggestion would to open the tiki bar just a bit earlier. We will return in the future.

Fantastic campground! Everything is new and clean. Most of the staff very friendly, great laundry facilities, beautiful beach and amenities. Bar, store and cafe very nice. Only thing I’d say is it’s lacking lounge chairs by the pool, and food would nice to have till 7 or 8 rather than close at 6 pm. No-See-ums were terrible. Otherwise, best KOA ever!

Nicely done remodel/rebuild of the older park location. Still some construction around on suites, but campground was done and looks and works great.

Great staff, Great Stay, wonderful paradise campground

The best camp ever!
Feb 27, 2022
Very nice campground with all the amenities you need! Not much privacy between sites but that is the norm in the keys.

Lovely park but koa needs to train their staff a little better. We extended our stay a 2nd night and when we moved the next morning there had been no one in that site so we could have moved straight there initially. This has been the same experience talking to other guests at various koa’s very frustrating.

Most excellent facility. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Barbra was incredible, super helpful, best place to stay in the Keys

This place is amazing. Super clean, great amenities, great location, great staff, beautiful landscaping.

Great RV park with wonderful landscaping, space, water view and the best wifi that we have ever had at a RV park.

Absolutely wonderful!! Disappointed that reservations for next year opened 14 months in advance. Logged on at 12 months only to see was hopeless. Great place! Would be nice addition to park if at least had nachos and/or warm pretzels at bar in evenings. It would definitely increase your bar revenue as could stay there longer. Return on investment would be substantial.

Newly constructed after the hurricane. Streets paved, lots covered in coral stone and well landscaped. Pool, bar, store and light food was great. Great access to the water and fishing along the old road bridge.

Best KOA anywhere! All infrastructure is brand new, the sites are large and well spaced, everything is kept very clean, the Airstream themed bar is great, and the music was super. Excellent pool and hot tub. Great location 20 miles from Key West. Several fairly nearby restaurants are terrific. The staff is very welcoming and helpful.

Loved the bar, pool, dog park, laundry facility, kayak ramp, hammocks and our site which was 01 (the best site in the park). See you next year.

Skip the Caribbean, Sugarloaf KOA is better. We loved the lush tropical landscape but its the staff that make this place so special. Loved the pool area and pool bar/cafe as well as the marina area. We love the location just far enough outside of Key West but close enough for a day trip. I was so sad to leave but will certainly be back. Congratulations on being the best KOA I have ever stayed in.

It’s going to be very difficult to get in another stay. Also, when condos are complete the pool will be overrun. I went a couple of times and overheard many people complaining of lack of chairs and space

We were there for a week and it was no long enough. Great location, good amenities, beautiful sites and awesome staff. We absolutely loved this place and hope to go back next year!

Beautiful campground! Very expensive but it’s worth it. The pool is just amazing like those in all inclusive in the Caribbean. All the facilities are news. The only little thing is that some trees are missing around the campsites for having a better intimacy. We will come back for sure!

We had a premium beachfront site the first night then just a regular back in the second both were great! We had never been to the old park before the rebuild but the new one is BEAUTIFUL. All staff were friendly and happy and everything was clean and ran very well.

The facilities were very clean and the staff members were very helpful and friendly.

great place!

No playground, no activities, store closes super early, way overly priced drinks...this campground is not what it used to be. The landscaping us pretty but obviously designed by someone who has never owned an RV. We won't be back, unfortunately. For the amount of money they charge, there should be more to do.

An absolutely awesome place !!

There has been a complete makeover to this park. Specious slips that are paved and well landscaped. The location is great located only seventeen miles from Key West. This park has ecerything.

Beautiful park. Friendly staff. Friendly campers. Great location to drive to Key West. Liked it so well we booked 10 days next March.
Feb 21, 2022
Sites are way too tight. The landscaping and rocks around our site prevented us from being able to access our bay doors on the driver’s side. Our steps opened to rocks and plants, making us have to enter and exit our unit on the side of the steps. We were never able to use the pool because there are not enough chairs and the pool is not large enough for the number of sites. Won’t be back!

We loved our stay. The sites are spacious and beautifully landscape at each site. The pool and bar area was so nice. The food prices were reasonable. We plan on camping again.

It looks like the camp was recently rebuilt due to severe storm damage. The end result, however, is spectacular. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in anywhere. The landscaping is breath-taking. The architectural rocks along the edges of each site are wonderful. The paved paths with brick are great. The club house and pool feel every bit a resort which we don't really see other places. It is clean, quiet and beautifully maintained. The overall rating reflects old news. I believe if averaged today it is more like 9-10 than in the 7's. Quite a campground. Spaces are roomy and flat. Picnic table and fire pit. Some shade but mostly open. Utilities perfect. Electric 119-121V. Two sewer connections. Paved interior roads. Pristine. Quiet. Service high. Streaming internet (!) incredible (lots of local access points). Beautiful cable with dozens of channels. Alas, $186 is incredibly high but it was full and we were there...... Key West is 20 miles west. We camped at Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA Holiday in a Motorhome. Dry Tortugas National Park can be a half or all day trip. Flight is 35 minutes, ferry is just under 3 hours. There is also a lot in Key West itself which is 20 miles.
