While the rates were expensive, the KOA was excellent. The place was clean and orderly and we loved the pool and bar. We would return again,

Only negative was that construction noise started around 7:30 am, before quiet time ended.

Too many moves for one stay! Need a better system to relocate people coming in so campers already here do have to move to another site. Other than that, it was wonderful!!!!

Very nice. When did they start booking well over a year. Went into office to try to reserve same spot and she said sorry booked in til March Said usually they don’t book over a year. I guess new rules. Use to be if you were on the site you would first to renew the following year. Barbara and her husband are both wonderful people. Barbara does a good job in office.

The only problem I encountered: A bartender at the on-site bar demanded a tip from a patron buying drinks. She was not able to speak good English, couldn't understand the demand this bartender was making. After paying a hugh bar bill ($15 each for 3 Mojitos, this price is a little steep), she did not leave a tip. The bartender told her that no one at the bar would wait on her again. Rude!!!

The KOA is a beautiful facility with every amenity that a upscale camper would desire… Friendly, clean with gorgeous plantings of many tropical flowers and trees… A bocce court and other games adjacent to The swimming pool and hot tub… entertainment in the airstream facade bar area… there is a marina with kayak, boat, bike rentals.. the marine store has snacks, beer and bait…. Love everything here… however , one rule should be no pets on the small beach due to small children playing in the sand after dogs Pee not safe or healthy! Only issue I seen ! This is amazing place !

We would have rated our stay a 5 and given a 10 for friend recommendations but we feel that we were cheated. Myself, my brother and my nephew all reserved Mangrove sites and we were moved without our knowledge. A year ago we paid more online for the Mangrove site and in my opinion that was a contract. It's not our fault that the prices have now gone up and you can make a few more bucks....

Our stay was short but great! We loved the sites and the landscaping. The pool area was beautiful and we enjoyed the nighttime music. The employees were very friendly.

We stayed there before Hurricane Irma and the transformation has been remarkable! It is very nice, staff nice and like the layout where sites are not too crowded and the vegetation is between! A little disappointed in the food choices at restaurant and the bar prices but overall awesome!

Campground was better than expected. Sites were large, level, and very well landscaped. Staff extremely helpful in navigating our stay for the following year. Poolside bar wasn’t to bad either.

Loved loved loved the beautiful park, the friendly staff and the amenities. Hated the bugs. Made our stay miserable with all the bug bites. We couldn’t sit by the campfire or enjoy the evening entertainment. Nothing seemed to work to get ride of them or protect ourselves. Put a damper on the experience.

Septic tank drains are way to high you need to cut them down to be shorter.

Great place however they did not think about trailers pulling into the sites. They need to move the rocks so trailers etc can pull in without the employee having to move the rocks to save the tires.

We paid for a pull thru site and had to back in due to a construction fence and were not compensated for the difference. The construction noise every day at 7am was annoying. There should be a noise ordinance in place. The prices at the bar are too high I paid less for a drink down the road. You advertise activities like bingo and coconut bowling but nothing was planned or happened

Barbra in the checkin office is aggravated when she has to multi task and makes sure you are aware you are an inconvenience . Her husband on the other hand is amazing and is 5 stars all the way. The two younger people (Megan & Mark?)that are a husband wife team that work in the cafe most of the time are two of friendliest people I have ever met working in a KOA. Septic tank drains are way to high

Great place..clean bathrooms and showers..great pool area..saw two bands in bar area..Kim and Kimberly were great behind the bar..nice store and food made to order..

It looks like the camp was recently rebuilt due to severe storm damage. The end result, however, is spectacular. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in anywhere. The landscaping is breath-taking. The architectural rocks along the edges of each site are wonderful. The paved paths with brick are great. The club house and pool feel every bit a resort which we don't really see other places. It is clean, quiet and beautifully maintained. The overall rating reflects old news. I believe if averaged today it is more like 9-10 than in the 7's. Quite a campground. Spaces are roomy and flat. Picnic table and fire pit. Some shade but mostly open. Utilities perfect. Electric 119-121V. Two sewer connections. Paved interior roads. Pristine. Quiet. Service high. Streaming internet (!) incredible (lots of local access points). Beautiful cable with dozens of channels. Alas, $186 is incredibly high but it was full and we were there...... Key West is 20 miles west. We camped at Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA Holiday in a Motorhome. Dry Tortugas National Park can be a half or all day trip. Flight is 35 minutes, ferry is just under 3 hours. There is also a lot in Key West itself which is 20 miles.
