Campground Cancellation Guideline

Campground Specific Cancellation Policy

A Deposit of your first night's stay is due and billed to your credit card at time of booking (except for special weekends whereby two nights will be billed minimum).

Reservations made for  Special weekends are to be paid in full at the time of the booking and are non-refundable change of dates will not be accommodated within these three weekends. 

Special Weekends:

Sussex Fundy Fest - July 16th &  July 17th.    2 day minimum booking:   Non-Cancellable Days are : Friday,  July 16th  &  Saturday, July 17th.

Sussex Flea Market  - August 19 - August 21.   No Minimum booking   Non-Cancellable Days are:      Thur  August 19 & Friday Aug 20 &  Sat August 21

Atlantic Balloon Fiesta Sept 9th-  Sept 11th.   2-day minimum booking.  Non-Cancellable Days are  Thur Sept 9  &  Fri Sept 10 &  Sat Sept 11.

Long Weekends:

Victoria Day Weekend - Monday May 24th.  Non-Cancelable Days are: Fri May 21th,  Sat May 22nd,   Sun May 23rd,   Mon May 24th

Canada Day Weekend - Wednesday, July 1  -   Non-Cancelable Days are: Fri July 2nd, Sat July 3rd, Sun July 4th

New Brunswick Day - Monday, August 2  -  Non-Cancelable Days are :  Fri July 30th,  Sat July 31st,  Sun Aug 1st,  Mon Aug 2nd.

Labour Day Weekend - Monday, September 6   -Non-Cancelable Days are:  Fri Sept 3rd,  Sat Sept 4th,  Sun Sept 5th,  Mon Sept 6th.

Reservations made for Long weekends have no minimum stay, however there are no refunds or change of dates for these 4 holiday weekends. These weekends are non- refundable.

There are no refunds for early check outs.

Please ensure that you have travel insurance to cover any travel interruptions due to health, weather, mechanical, or any other instances.

National Cancellation Guideline:  To guarantee your campsite, a deposit equal to at least your first night will be charged to your credit card at the time you make your reservation.

Need to Cancel? If you need to cancel your reservation, please email [email protected] before the deadlines listed below to receive your deposit refund, minus a $20 cancellation fee (plus taxes). No refunds on long weekends or special weekends.

Reservations made after these deadlines require non-refundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.  

RV &Tent Sites: 7 day cancellation notice is required. Notify your KOA by 3 p.m. 7 days before your scheduled arrival.                  

Camping Cabins  : 14 days cancellation notice required. Please notify your KOA two weeks before your scheduled arrival.  

Reservations made after these deadlines require non-refundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.

National Cancellation Guideline

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted.

Cancellation Deadlines:

  • RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.
  • Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.

For guests booking accommodations in California, a full refund will be given for reservations canceled within 24 hours of booking, provided the arrival date is at least 72 hours after the time of booking.

Cancellation Details:

  • Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.
  • Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
  • No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.
  • No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.
  • Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.
  • The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.
  • Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA for details.
