Spring is Upon Us

Spring is Upon Us

Good Morning Fellow KOA Campers... Spring us upon us an we have never been more excited to begin a season. We will be entering our second full season as the Tellico Plains / Cherokee National Forest KOA Holiday and have a ton of summer fun in store for you this season.

For those who have stayed with us before, or know us personally, this is a bit of a bittersweet season for me as sadly I lost my wife Julia a few months ago to a sudden illness. For those who knew her, you definitely experienced that smile that would light up any room as well as her love all of our guests. When you stay with us you become part of our family and we treat you as such.

In her honor and as part of her legacy, we are excited to be hosting the Julia Jones Mountain Mama Hippie Fest on April 18th and we have a plans for hosting a Wagon Train on Memorial Day weekend. And best of all, don't forget about our Annual 1776 Celebration with Fireworks, Food and Fun for the whole family. Our season will be full of activities for everyone to enjoy! Sites are going fast for these events, so please book soon!

In addition, I am excited to announce that our brand new waste water treatment plant and dump station will be operational before Memorial Day weekend, to include the addition of 12 more full-hookup sites.

As we enter into the 2026 season, from my family to yours, we wish you all Safe Travels and Wellness! Hoping to see you soon!

Safe Travels,
Chris Jones, Owner, Tellico Plains / Cherokee National Forest KOA Holiday
