Sites not level, loud freeway noise.

Just an overnight on our way up to Northern Arkansas. Really appreciate it a pull through so we didn’t have to disconnect our toe vehicle. Wonderful hosts.Clean park great facilities.

We love staying at KOAs but the Texarkana KOA isn't clean. The ladies and men's rooms/showers were nasty. Made it difficult staying a week and not feeling comfortable using the bathrooms or showers. My husband said that in the mens two of the shower doors didn't have locks, the third ones shower head didn't work well and the forth one was full of mud. He was also afraid to sit on the toilets.

Awesome staff! Very helpful. My vehicle messed up while I was staying there. The staff were very accommodating.

Traveling from Los Angeles to Tennessee we stayed in a lot of RV parks and this facility was one of the top two. Beautiful trees, cement pads, friendly service, Easy in and out with a 40 foot coach.

Only issue was a lot of dog poop around our site.

Phone message had sent us site number and directions that were not very helpful to us. We pulled in during rain/wintery mix, cold and miserable and had no idea where to go. Some one did come out and talk to us and give us a park map. Suggest leaving registration packets out like other KOA parks do. Did not expect office to be closed at 4:00 pm.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The office was open until 6 pm, We give very precise direction to sites. We find that most camper like the verbal directions to their site, even after closure we transfer all calls to cell phone so we are always available to assist.

Water pressure in the Men’s Shower was horrendous. It dribbled out. The site assigned me was hard to get level on and asked to switch sites. Once switched I encountered an additional charge to my credit card. This was discussed when asking to switch and I specifically stated I didn’t need to switch if there was going to be an additional charge. I thought about disputing the charge but not wort

On the good side this has full hookups, is convenient to highway access and the local manager is great (good communications, etc). On the down side this is right up against the highway, sites are extremely close together and it "fronts" a trailer park. If you need a quick overnight stay, and don't mind traffic noise, this works.

We were traveling to Galveston and wanted a place overnight. Management was so friendly in giving directions to the KOA, very clean place.

No issues. The park itself was quiet other than some road noise from the interstate. A staff member called the morning of our arrival date to check us in over the phone which was helpful. We arrived after dark that evening, so we were able to just pull in and setup. Thank you!

I stayed at the Texarkana KOA for 2 one month stays January and March. Each stay was great. The staff are friendly and the facilities are comfortable.

Cannot believe this is a KOA. Nothing met my expectations. Owner called early to check me in, gave me my site #, and charged us. When I arrived, I realized that is because the RV park is HORRIBLE and they wanted charge us before I saw the park and LEFT. We had to find our spot ourselves. NO SUPPORT! We were in a "deluxe" site = next to the highway. Cheaper sites were away from the highway. NEVER!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We regret the park did not meet your expectations. However sites closer to the bath house are the same price as your site which work best for 5th wheels. We transfer calls to cell phone after 6 pm always available to answer questions or solve problems.

Excellent for an overnight stop- it was raining when we pulled in and rained most of the night. Concrete patio would have been nice. Check in easy and staff very pleasant to work with.

KOA personnel was very user friendly even though it was after hours. I was happy to be able to get hold of someone who provided us a space, that easily accommodated our RV with all amenities. Which made life very simple, at that point due to the bad weather. Their laundry and restroom area was clean and sanitary, which made it comforting to use.

Only stayed for 1 night while traveling. No problems with online check in. all necessary info was there for us. Park was quiet and we were able to get a shower and good nights sleep to continue on.

Friendly Staff. Clean, well kept campground. Bath house/Laundry Facility was very clean and convenient. Highway noise was noticeable but not as bad as anticipated. Easy in and out.

Manager was very helpful by providing me with a name of someone to help with an issue I had with my toilet. It was fixed and I was able to get on my way. Helpful and concerned.

This is a very low end park in the KOA system. The office is closed, we went into the main office where we were greeted with “what do you want?” Had a much better experience the next night at a parkdown the road for 2/3 the price.

This was the second year that we stayed at the Texarkana KOA and we’re never visited by the K Texarkana KOA staff. We never saw a single Texarkana KOA staff person.

Quick and easy access from the interstate and we had a site down in the trees, fairly quiet. It was dark when we arrived but there was someone waiting for us and escorted us right to our site. We only stayed one night and were grateful for doordash. Safe and clean
