We got there late without a reservation and the sign said to fill out a form along with our payment information, but there were no forms to fill out. I went in the morning to register and leave. We had stayed there before. Nice place to stay.

I called to get a campsite. Arrived to find the campground had MANY empty sites and we were assigned to the first row by the very busy LOUD freeway. After a long day of driving, this was very frustrating. The office was closed by then and it was getting dark. Too hard to hook things up when it’s dark! Never again!!!!!!!!!!! Yii ok y will not see me again!

We travel to the East coast 2-3 times a year and use Texarkana KOA each time. It’s convenient and always available. Thanks.

I enjoyed my stay. Rest rooms and showers were nice and very clean. The only negative about my stay was the proximity to the highway. While it is convenient to get to the traffic noise overnight was terrible.

Originally asked to be away from highway noise. So we were placed back with the permanent residents. Overgrown grass next to neighbor that site looked like a garbage dump. So we moved but the park is pretty run down. Hey it’s close to highway for quick overnight stop

Stayed here for 2 nights on or way to south Texas. Fairly clean camp but could use a few updates. KOA is right off the highway which is very convenient also very noisy with highway traffic. There is a small fenced off leash are for your pet which is kept clean and a good size open area for walking. KOA is mixed in with a trailer park/residential area Did not use bathhouse/laundry but looked clean

Our 2nd second stay in a year at this park & we thought it might look better. This park has the potential to be beautiful...but it is currently very run down looking. A dilapidated mobile home sits just past the entrance. The sites don’t appear to be cleaned and ready for guests. The grounds and sites need to be cleared of excess pine cones and leaves. It just needs some TLC & it would be great!

Way too much freeway noise for the price charged for a night’s stay. Next door campers were up before 6 am with no regard for any quiet time—impossible to sleep once they got up!

Quick overnight on our travels. Had a pull through site. Hook-ups were great as was the picnic table and “porch swing”. Location & site was right off the interstate and access road so traffic noise was present all night.

Access to this campground is great. It is noisy because of the freeway but we could deal with that. We have used this campground in the past but it is has gone down in quality. We never saw any host. The roads are terrible. The sites overall at not in good shape at all. We will likely never use this campground again.

Very nice campsite for our overnight. The owners are wonderful. We arrived very late. They took our reservation over the phone and left a detailed welcome packet. The park was clean and well organized. The selling of propane there was a big plus.

Road noise is very high. Clean park and laundry room is very clean. Good park for staying overnight due to road and train noise. Although it was in the 30s at night we left our ac fan on to create white noise.

Very convenient location-easy on/off of the interstate.We received a nice call on how to enter the park utilizing contactless check-in.However, we reserved a paved pull through site & ended up in a gravel spot that was overwhelmed w/standing water. Our front door area & the utility pedestal both had standing water which was a mess. We were only staying over night but it was still unpleasant.

Front area of the park was nice. A lot of highway noise. The back area of the park (more permanent units) was questionable and didn't give a good feeling. A couple of suspicious vehicles in and out.

Stayed 2 nites. Our site was gravel and level, and grounds are well kept. Very clean laundry, showers. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will return. Downside: noisy due to Exway.

With numerous open spots we were parked less than 100 yes from I30!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Because your Fifth Wheel was 39' long we put you in site A13 as it is long enough for your rig and with the utilities at the back of the site. The B row sites are not long enough for your fifth wheel and the C row works better for Motorhomes but will work for Fifth wheels too. In the future, we will try to do better to communicate with you as to your preferences.

We ended up having to stay super last minute and I couldn’t be happier with the park. It was easy to get to, very well kept, and the person I spoke with was super accommodating. It truly made for some peace on our stressful journey home.

Could have been more warmly welcomed even during Covid. No stores open or office. Don't like no code to get into women's restroom. Didn't feel safe. My husband had no problem. Once your in laundry area anyone can walk in to restrooms. Sites were level, clean area and very few RV that night. Road noise was loud but our fan took care of it

People were very pleasant and we had a lovely site with view of the pond. Easy on and off the highway.

Just a one night stay on the way back home. Good site and never saw anyone except a worker. He was pleasant and gave me a tip on dinner. Good stop overnight.

Very noisy. Intense road noise all night. Airplane noise, too. The back section of the park felt sketchy. There one to greet us at the registration office - the site map for us was left outside the door. Generally unkempt.

Within one minute of hooking to 50 amp service, we heard a loud pop from our fuse box and white smoke began to fill our trailer. I called the office to let them know and their staff person told me it can’t be a problem with their pedastal. We had no power at all. We’re in Waco now. Everything works. You had the same problem when we moved you to another site. I offered to come up to investigate however when you had the same problem at second site, you called me and said I didn't need to check and that the problem was with your RV. Other RV's have occupied the site with no problems since.

Overnighter next to interstate. That's ok because we chose that. My shower stall had 2 dried hair wads that weren't recent. Nice desk guy, but feels like owners wringing every dollar without great upkeep. Sites could be nice but need work. Good pull-thrus & mostly level site, but feels shabby. Most of the park is permanent residents but those are in separate area further back. Fine overnighter

Quick and easy access from the interstate and we had a site down in the trees, fairly quiet. It was dark when we arrived but there was someone waiting for us and escorted us right to our site. We only stayed one night and were grateful for doordash. Safe and clean
