Love the landscape and the swimming lake along with the very clean pool! Only minor issue we had was a Hornet or Wasp nest on the roof of the picnic shelter in the buddy site. I called the office and I am sure they took care if it by now.

Staff were friendly. Site was not quite level, but had a fantastic view of the lake. There needs to be more information provided such as letting campers know that trash was picked up at your site. There is a large enclosed dog area, fishing lake and a swimming lake. Roadways need some work, but overall this was a place to come back to.

My kids were obsessed with the water slide and water trampoline. By the end of the day, everyone was so tired from playing outside all day. Great little get away!

Our stay at Thompson/Grand River KOA was great. The park was clean. There were a lot of activities going on during 4th of July weekend including fireworks. We had a balcony camp site with plenty of patio furniture which made watching the fireworks really easy. There was plenty of room for two pickup trucks and the site pad was very wide. We love how close this is to home for a quick trip.

One of the nicest KOAs we've stayed in, and would return in a heart beat. Lovely woodsy setting, plenty of clean restrooms, easy in/out and a nice place to walk with the ponds. We highly recommend this site (and hope that this superlative rating won't make it difficult for us to get a site on our return!). ATBster

Could have been the perfect family weekend if the campers at "Cherry" site across from us weren't dropping "F" bombs half the night in front of their children. Loud enough my kids could hear them. Their heavy bass rap music drowned out most of their noise though. As soon as they pulled in, I knew it was gonna be a long night. Amenities were nice other than the store closing so early.

We enjoyed our stay however the pool heater was broken. The water was pretty cold… overall we had a great visit.

Overall everything was good. Love the wooded sites. We stay multiple times each year. Would like later cabin and campsite checkout.( even an hour helps for slow moving seniors!). Liked the fireworks display better at other pond site.

I was one of a number a family members who stayed this weekend. Lots of fun for the kids. Bathrooms/showers are clean and spacious. Camp staff was great. Delivered wood and ice to our sites when we called the office. Had a broken step on my sisters cabin deck and the maintenance dept was on it quickly and showed great concern for our safety.

Very friendly staff. Fishing lake was great and so was the pool. Activities were a little mis-managed, but we adapted. We'd come again!

Not up to KOA standards. Roads were terrible. Out houses and showers were closed. Snack bar closed. I am told over 40 seasonal campers left with new management. Needs improvement.

Roads are full of large pot holes everywhere. Staff is a bunch of young kids that are on their phones whenever you go into the camp store.Deck on F1 has three broken boards which is very dangerous. Gravel sites F2 & F1 are soft. Especially for our large class A Motorhome. Overall it’s a nice park but previous owners took better care of it. If it’s a KOA owned park you need better management.

The campground was very clean, and well kept as best as they could with all the rain. The pool was refreshing, and the swim pond was fun for our kids. The fishing pond was full of hungry fish. The shower house in the front circle was amazingly clean and refreshing to use!

Will we come back? Probably, as we and our kids do enjoy staying here. But you can tell this place is a corporate job now. The old owners paid close attention to the finer details such as heating the pool, treating the swimming lake, landscaping, spraying for mosquitos, etc. KOA should try to maintain the bar that was set so high for so many years instead of only worrying about profits.

The digital cable antenna system made the TV worthless.Most of the duration of our stay was hampered by rain so we were cabin bound and would liked to have had use of it.I think they should have adjusted the rental fee accordingly, disappointed!

It was good. Tv wouldn't work but we really didn't need it. Only complaint was the hand soap and soaps in shower were filled with water instead of replaced. We brought our own anyways but not pleasant to see that.

This one of the nicest KOA’s we have ever stayed at! So much for kids to do! Everyone is very friendly and helpful in the office too. We will definitely be back!!!

We were surprised that the gas grills were not at the campsites anymore, our meals were planned around having one. But your staff quickly found us one and brought it to us, we were very grateful! However the shower room did not have air-conditioning and they were very hot. It would also be nice if the pond could stay open a little longer.

All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There are numerous camp amenities although we ourselves did not make much use of them. The grounds are overall pleasant--EXCEPT there is poison ivy EVERYWHERE, completely surrounding our campsite. Some have grown into trees/shrubs! If you're careful, you'll have a good time.

We loved our stay. The kids had plenty to do and even though it was raining on and off they could still play on the playground and jump on the pillow jumper. the camp was well maintained and so much fun.

i was camped on site p4 big metal corn feeder in playground and the rocks that the kids keep throwing at it was annoying several kids where climbing the ladder to see who could go the highest i think its needs to go or make safe and remove the rocks

First stay of the 2021 year, I realized after we arrived that Cheryl and Don Arnold do not own this facility anymore. It was bought by corporate KOA. The professional lady at the front desk K’Lora did an awesome job but we were immediately aware of some of the differences, grill must be requested, no flowers at our site. Probably not enough staff yet. Flowers were sparse - no food or ice cream

We have always stayed at state parks and private campgrounds. This was our first time at a KOA and loved every minute of it. We will definitely be booking another weekend soon.

Good but I can tell there is less attention to details than last year. Last year we had garbage pick up, hanging flowers on our cabins weren’t dead, blowup in swim pond was inflated better last year, and last year we had bar soap in our cabin. This year little things like that were not paid attention to but campers notice these things and may try new places. Also would like to see moe souvenirs.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Had a Deluxe Cabin for 2 nights and it had many amenities included which made our packing much easier. Amenities aren't listed clearly on website. (Bedding,Towels, dishcloths,cups, plates,bowls,silverware, microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, toaster,(nostove),propane grill(they furnish propane,) dish soap, garbage bags, toilet paper, etc. Great kids park with a huge bouncing pillow. Large dog park! Swimming pool, ponds, beautiful views and landscaping. If you're into Halloween this place fills up and most everyone decorates their places! I guess it is a big deal for all ages! (We stayed Sept. 29-Oct1)
