My husband, two children and fur babies had an amazing time swimming, fishing and exploring. Loved that there was a nice dog park area and I was able to give my Pup a bath at the dog wash, very convenient! The kids also loved the jump pillow! We will definitely stay again if we are in town!

We were lucky to find an open site here after we arrived to Geneva State Park, and could not stay due to the site condition after all the rain. We stayed in the back, in a new section of pull-through full hookup sites. Nice, and good drainage, despite all the rain. The bad: on both nights, after dark, noisy people interrupted the calm. KOA needs to have staff available to keep the calm.

Beginning stages of decay. Obvious deferred maintenance. Golf carts are out of control, too many and create dust. Busy with car traffic through campground. Staff were working a job-did what they needed to do but did not have a care or concern, all office staff. They are young and probably inexperienced. Many full time people which changes atmosphere. Roads were rutted and poor

We have come to Thompson the last 3 years. This trip has always been our most looked forward to trip of the season. However, this year we’re left feeling disappointed. With the transition to the new owners it seems many things have fallen to the wayside. New management (disappointment). Escort to our site (great) but experienced campers don't need this. The camp store has limited hours, plan ahead. No emergency number for campers, texts only responded to during store hours. Multiple bath facilities out of order. Lack of seasonal campers, pathetic showing of swim pond accessories (deflated). Enjoy the kids water balloon event. Depressing.

Love the area we were in with the upper deck and the large gazebo. The roads were bad, lots of holes and ruts due to the rain. Thought it was horrible that you allowed a parade with a big Trump flag and the Thompson fire dept was part of the parade. Political signs and flags should not be allowed .

Stay was great but the water run off is extremely poor. Need to put drainage system in the whole park. Then asphalt all the road ways. Then the number 1 question will go to a number 10 and the number 2 question will go to a star 5. The back end sites with the upper decks are so unlevel. Greatest thing of all that I liked is that the entire staff of Thompson/Grand River Valley KOA VERY RESPECTFUL.

This stay was not up to par as it has been in past years. The campground lacked the superb upkeep & maintenance. The pool water was cold. There was a strong sewage smell in the new section where we were camping. After looking at recent reviews, the sewage smell & broken pool heater were on-going issues that haven't been resolved. I hope KOA gets the campground back to the way Don & Cheryl kept it.

Though the weather was horrible, your workers were all still pleasant and happy to see us. The grounds had an impressive amount of stuff to offer! We will definitely be back! Thanks for a nice time!!

Our site was easy to pull through and clean. Showers were clean and cute! Roads were rough with several areas that had deep ruts. Good location for getting to Geneva-on-the-Lake and Geneva State Park.

The roads were terrible with holes, however at the end of our stay they were graded so that helped. The pond was awesome ! Thank you for providing life vests. My kids loved the he playground, jumping pillow, etc. people were friendly. Would have loved to had pizza from the pizzeria…. But it was not open!

Beautiful place but had no idea it was on a dirt road. If we had followed our GPS it would have been shorter. As it was we followed the camping signs. Rained alot so we didn't get to explore.

The park was very nice and the area we were in was secluded. The gravel roads and pad sites in the park do need graded . With all the rain it took its toll on these areas.

The campground is very nice with a lot of fun activities available for the family. The pool was cold as the heater was broken and we were disappointed to see the outdoor playground in the back was not completed and available for use fully.

Beautiful campground. Very large sites with foiliage between. Tables, fire rings, great activities for little ones.

This place has TONS of potential. Lots to do on site and campsites are good. Staff were overall sluggish. I was surprised at the lack of supplies available at KOA. We have come to know they have the things we forget. Bathrooms need to be cleaned more often and better. Pool was great but cold (heater not working staff told us). Small changes will make this a destination KOA

Due to bad weather, we had to find a campsite on short notice for one night. The young man that checked us in was also the person who took care of our reservation over the phone. He was very helpful & friendly. The park was very clean & our grandkids enjoyed all the amenities. We've never been to a KOA, but will definitely do so in the future.

The property has changed a bit and the pool was really cold. There appears l to be a drive to bring in weekenders and eliminate seasonal, which is reflected in run down conditions and rude guest behavior. I was really disappointed this trip and our last in June. I would not return in the future, unless it is a Monday-Thursday.

Your campground is Beautiful!! One of the nicest we have stayed at, and we've been doing this for about 25 years. The problem I have is the access road. Its not very comforting knowing that rocks and gravel are being thrown up into your 40,50,60 thousand dollar rv. Hopefully the county will be getting the road paved. until then, you've lost me as a customer. Sorry.

Been here several times in the past year. Second time this year and the pool heater is still broken and still do not have a food license. Also it's sad to see the new owner ship does not plans to finish the nature playground that the old owners started. Still a great place to stay though, perfect for family with young kids.

Loved it here, we had kids ages 17 to 5 with us and not once did they say “were bored”. That says it all we will be back again

Clean campground. Friendly staff. Site was very nice. Pool heater didn't work. Golf cart traffic was like being in New York City !! Overall, OK.

We were disappointed with the overall upkeep of the property and we really missed the beautiful flowers from last year. I wished they had more child organized activities on the weekends. Super friendly staff. We had an electric problem at the box and the staff quickly replaced the breaker so we could plug in.

Our stay was nice. The staff and place nice. Our only complaint was that our kids bike was stolen and then recovered and then picked up by someone who wasn’t us(so stolen again). Maybe your staff can ask for identification next time to avoid giving it to the wrong people.

Enjoyed most of stay, but suggest making pet friendly sites not by the busy road or where people travel frequently by, all pets will get agitated with strangers walking right next to THEIR spot, otherwise the campgrounds we're very nice, wish waiting list wasn't so ridiculously long...

We loved our campsite. It was perfect for our needs. We had a short stay but did utilize the laundry. If not for the rain, we would have used the dog washing station. We received a freight delivery while there and the staff was super nice and accommodating. Only con, the road to get to the KOA is rough so we drove very slowly. If we are ever in the area again, we will return.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Had a Deluxe Cabin for 2 nights and it had many amenities included which made our packing much easier. Amenities aren't listed clearly on website. (Bedding,Towels, dishcloths,cups, plates,bowls,silverware, microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, toaster,(nostove),propane grill(they furnish propane,) dish soap, garbage bags, toilet paper, etc. Great kids park with a huge bouncing pillow. Large dog park! Swimming pool, ponds, beautiful views and landscaping. If you're into Halloween this place fills up and most everyone decorates their places! I guess it is a big deal for all ages! (We stayed Sept. 29-Oct1)
