Great place. VERY HOT IN AUGUST! We stayed in the Woody tent. Very nice place to “glamp” but make sure that the temps for your stay is reasonable as there is no AC and we literally burned out 2 fans during our stay! I would recommend this and/or the teepee to be booked either in early spring or later fall time frame. Wish we were told when we booked. Otherwise a great time & great staf

Great stay! Well maintained campground, very friendly staff and clean bathrooms/showers. We will come back! I would recommend to bring a multi outlet power strip for cabin and mosquito repellent!

The front office staff was super nice and helpful. I was surprised though that people were not wearing masks. Our room in the tipi was very clean. I was dissappointed though that I had to per person for 3 people, but only one bed wa made up? Why charge the extra fee if you are not going to prepare the area for that many people?

I loved this kampground! Great location, great layout, great facilities, and great staff. It is so close to so many things to do, and the onsite ATV rental was something I tood advantage of and really enjoyed in the surrounding beautiful scenery. I will absolutely return, and give this location my highest rating as a person who has stayed at many KOAs.

I liked this campground. Pool, playground, and facilities nice, closed early. Restrooms were nice. Stayed in the front, so lots of people passing by. Big grassy areas. Staff was nice. Sites were rock and close to level. I would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here before but not on a crowded hot July night. Had a pull-thru slot but EXTREMELY narrow. No fire pit ( 98 so that did not matter) and no table, which we had to ask for. )Neighbor's fire pit was inches from our RV. Asked to move, but told no other spots...tho several remained vacant all night. Some spots in our row were double spots for the same price. Will not stay again!

This was our favorite KOA stop on our trip! Had a great time! No problems with any of the services - even the wifi worked well for us. Enjoyed the playground and pedal-cars! Friendly and helpful staff!

Small cabins do not have air conditioning. It was almost 100° when we checked in. I was shocked, especially since I have stayed there in a deluxe and it had A/C. Rough night for us all.

We called on short notice and were treated very nicely and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. This site was very nice. It was a bit noisy with kids, but that is also a blessing to see so many kids having fun. So I'm certainly not "complaining." I would stay there again for sure.

We stayed in the Sundance cabin, it was very nice. We enjoyed the playground and the swimming pool. It was the perfect location for hiking and seeing the dinosaur bones.

Website advertised tent spaces as grassy. I booked a tent site for one tent and two people using the website. I initially was give a Site large enough for 3-5 tents and mostly dirt. When I returned to the office to request a grassy site, Julie (and her husband) were extremely accommodating.

This was our first time to the area. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this KOA and size of the RV sites. It was also very nice that they had information for a number of day trip activities readily available in the office. We’ll definitely come back!

Lots of great shade at our spot which helped it to stay cool even in 93degree heat. Everything well maintained and they did a great job of transferring new people in then out of the campground seamlessly. A little outdated with some of their amenities, but overall a wonderful place for families.

This KOA is very clean. The staff is very friendly. It is a nice park to stay at.

Best WIFI I have used at any campground this summer! My IPhone would not back up for over 3 weeks... because the WIFI connections (including several KOA’s) would occasionally “drop” my device. In Vernal, the phone took 4+ hours (a lot of data) to backup... successfully! Never dropped my device once! Please let all the other KOA’s know the details of your WIFI system! Thank you �

We only stayed overnight in our RV, but found the entire facility to be top notch. Friendly and very helpful staff!

After staying last year for almost a month, we were looking forward to staying again. To our surprised, the management had changed and now they had new rules, vistors were only allowed if they paid $5 to get in. The dog park that our little Ziva and Jasper enjoyed last year, they could not this year because we don't have 'little dogs' and our dogs are not allowed in the dog park.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We appreciate all comments as for the $5 visitor's fee this is typical for most all KOA's. As for pets, we allow all types unless they are agressive regardless of breed or size.

A short stay but a fun one! My 4 year old loved the private swing, and I loved the grill we could use. Everyone was happy!

Edith, at the front desk, was very rude to the point of being mean. And she lied to us. Other than her, which was completely unnecessary, our experience was good. I explained everything to the manager, yet, felt I needed to still make the complaint more formal. Edith has no business working in any capacity of customer service. We may never return because of her.

We are sad to hear you had an unpleasant experience with our workamper. We believe she has now changed her demeaner and that there should be no other issues regarding rudeness. As for her lying, I would need specifics. We do not tolerate lying and again we are sad to hear of this poor experience.

The first night people were screaming until at least 3 AM. They were across the huge field area and we could still hear them. Many others were very loud well past curfew. There needs to be someone stopping this excessive noise. I’ve never camped somewhere with this much noise. The second night one site was smoking pot and nothing was done about it. Terrible experience!

We are sad you had such a poor experience. We have after hours phone for issues such as this and wish you would have called. We do not tolerate such behaviors and would promptly address such issues. We also do not allow marijuana or its use on the campgrounds. Again we wish you would have called

We love the campground. Was a little disappointed that because a computer glitch it charged me for 2 spots. The gal did refund me all but $10. Not sure I why I was charged that because of a computer error.

Loved that they had a lot of activties going on as well as Razor rentals. The campground was well kept and clean as well as everyone was very helpful and kind. We will be back for sure.

Stayed over the 24th of July Utah state holiday, Stay was very pleasant. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Sites were clean and well maintained. Facilities were clean. Loads of shade trees but plenty of room to pull through or back in. Plenty of activities available, mostly for a modest fee. I would stay here again when visiting eastern Utah/Dinosaur National Monument.

A very nice campground. We don’t have children, but boy their playground is second to none. Great store and staff. The only upgrades I would like to see is the main campground roads paved. Cheers!

We arrived after hours and left fairly early, so did not interact with staff, but directions were left out for us. Clean restrooms, nice playground and activities for you get kids.

Fantastic campground! Very beautiful, very well kept, amazing bathroom and shower area. One of the best campgrounds I've ever been too.
