Disappointed our electricity kept tripping due to low voltage. This was on Friday when very hot and campground full. Sites were too close in between. No TV.

This is a wonderful campground. It was perfect for a family gathering. We booked the Woody Tent for son’s family, we parked nearby. Was great! Nice clean pool and fun playground for the kids.

We love the Vernal KOA. Friendly people, great campsites, and fun things for the family to do.

Pros: friendly staff, nice pool, spacing between sites, and awesome trees. Cons: staff member racing around on cart (kicking up dust) well over their posted speed limit, dead grass in sites from lack of watering, dirty bathrooms, no hot water for showers, and laundry room was well over 100F without any effort to cool it down.

Great campground, had a tent site with shade. Very friendly folks and nice clean facilities. Good advice and places to eat and what to do during my free day. I was on a long motorcycle trip and scheduled a rest day at Vernal. Not my 1st visit and will certainly be back.

We enjoyed the stay except our camping cabin (cc1) had 1 outlet already designated for a fridge and fan, the other outlet was out of use. The other cabins had 2. I think offering a power strip would have been a helpful option. And the women’s bathroom was not clean (clogged toilet for more than 24 hours) and the jumping pad was out of order.

We loved our stay! Our girls loved the dino scavenger hunt and mini golf. Loved how close we were to the park! Will totally be back with family for sure! The staff was awesome and so welcoming!

Overall the campground is great. Close to town for grabbing supplies and plenty of outdoor activities near by. The staff is super friendly and helpful as well. Our only critique are the mattresses in the deluxe cabin we were in. They were super uncomfortable for the night we were there. The cabin itself is very nice, we would just like better mattresses

Worst experience ever at a KOA. I reserved 2 months in advance and was given tiny, narrow (couldn't put our awning out as it would touch our neighbor) site. I have stayed there before as just passing thru and given better then this. We brought our family along and their site was even more difficult to deal with. Will not return to this one ever.

The WiFi was horrible in our spot. It wouldn’t stay up if I got on. They explained it was because we were behind four other RVs. That’s ridiculous.

We enjoyed our stay and the larger spot at the back of the resort. We didn’t feel like we were right on top of our neighbors. The golf course was a little run down but I am sure it is hard to keep nice with the amount of people playing it daily. We would come back.

I was not all that impressed when we first arrived with our grandchildren however I soon realized what a great job they do with amenities for kids, they have a pool, rental bike, a playground and a dinosaur scavenger hunt. I would definitely stay there again.

Bathroom could use little more TLC. Pool wasn’t clean (murky water. Need shocking) and also need repair putt putt course. Otherwise great location and site

We love this KOA. The staff is very polite and helpful. We accidentally booked the incorrect dates and needed to stay one more day than we had booked. They helped us extend our stay and everything worked out perfectly. They could have been rude and just kicked us out, but they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us and the other guests. THANK YOU! See you soon for our next trip.

Our family had a great time at the Vernal KOA! This was our first visit & we will definitely be coming back! The staff was always friendly & our boys loved doing the dino hunt at the campground, renting the cruiser bikes & the movie night. We also went into town to the dinosaur museum & spent a day at Red Fleet Reservoir which is only a 15 min drive from the KOA. We can't wait to go back again!

The site Manager Adam and his staff were friendly and helpful. They have a nice selection of clothing/gear and camping accessories in the office/store in case you forgot something. Although it was mostly pretty pricey. Few groceries including dairy product which prevented a "coffee camping crises."

I expected a lot from this KOA since I spent over $100 on a camper cabin. The staff was friendly and the facilities were clean and I was surprised to find the linens in the camper cabin even though it said they would not be any available. I was disappointed that some of the amenities were in poor shape or were out of service. This is one of the main reasons we stayed here. There was also no a/c.

NICEST STAFF!!!!!!! A nice place to stay for the night in the middle of nowhere. Sites are very close to one another. Bathrooms are decent and could use updating.

We paid $20.00 extra for our space next to the pool. The pool was closed due to chemical issues. They should have called a professional to fix their issue!!!!!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed playing mini golf (a fun, family friendly amenity). Park was close to Dinosaur National Monument.

This KOA has had a lot of updating since our last stay two year ago and it made our stay very nice. If I could suggest making tree lined sites a bit wider that would make dumping close to our neighbors a bit less awkward. kOA is very close to town, dinosaur National Monument and plenty of other natural places like these sand stone arches. Way cool!

This KOA is a classic KOA with great accommodations and lots of things to do. Very family friendly, but nice for couples also. We’ll run and maintained. The staff was excellent, very helpful and made guests feel welcome and appreciated for staying.

Hard to say-because of time, road conditions, and traveling safely, we were not able to make it to the park in time for our reservation. I do not think it is reasonable to not be able to get some kind of a refund. As first time travelers in the western United States, knowing how long it was going to take to arrive. I feel we should’ve able to get some kind of a refund as we used no facilities

We arrived after hours and left fairly early, so did not interact with staff, but directions were left out for us. Clean restrooms, nice playground and activities for you get kids.

Fantastic campground! Very beautiful, very well kept, amazing bathroom and shower area. One of the best campgrounds I've ever been too.
