Bed bugs in camper cabin 2. Woke up in the middle of the night with bites all over my arms. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is that manager Adam was very kind, moved us to another cabin, did our laundry, and brought us blankets and even breakfast in the morning. Still, my arms itch and I’m scared we may have brought bugs home.

Nice and clean. Sheets and towels good quality. Had a great time with several family members in various cabins/RV spots. Thank you for helping us reserve spots that were right next to each other. Only issue was with heater that would not stay on - kept clicking on and off with very loud noises. Informed someone at front desk who said they would take a look at it.

Enjoyed all of the extra amenities. The rental bikes and playground equipment were a lot of fun for my granddaughters. The staff was very helpful during the entire stay.

We stayed at several KOAs on our trip and this was by far our favorite. The amenities were great for our kids — rental, balls to borrow for playing on the large field, an awesome playground, and more. The place is immaculate and we loved our cabin. Thanks KOA of Vernal for a highpoint of our trip!

This KOA is one of the cleanest, most organized, friendly one we have ever stayed at. The layout of the cabins was just right, not sqished together like some layouts. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The kids loved the playground. It did not feel crowded there even though I am sure they were completely full for Labor Day Weekend. We will stay here again for sure!

We had an excellent time there! The staff was very, very friendly and very helpful with everything we needed. The campground and surrounding area was very clean and tidy. We very much enjoyed our stay and will come back again!

There are a lot of activities to make the stay fun for kids and adults. We love the cabin, I love tent camping, but choose the cabin to help grandchildren fell more comfortable about camping.

Cabin was absolutely beautiful. Everything was clean and we really, really enjoyed our stay! My only complaint is that most of the staff did not wear masks, and since we are in a pandemic I would have felt safer if they had taken the extra step to help protect their visitors.

Lots of fun things to do - bikes, playground, and swimming. But the staff was easily stressed with handling both rentals and loaning out play items. Long lines with only one person helping. Saw others but they seemed to be above that duty. Resulted in a mulitple snippy comments to customers from the desk clerk. I would have appreciate a more polite attitude.

The cabin was very clean and nice. It has a large green lawn out the front door. The pool was great, they had a movie night with free popcorn, clean playground and a jump-pad as well. We grilled each night there (propane grill was on the cement pad in front of the patio. Very clean and friendly. Friendly staff, great place. I would recommend it to anyone.

Our boys loved the teepee! Making smores around the campfire was a highlight for them. They also enjoyed swimming in the pool and meeting other kids.

Great cabins and facility. The WiFi wasn’t great but got me out of working and spending more time with family. Have loved this campground since it was dina campground and now a koa. It is run very well and everyone observed COVID pretty well in my opinion.

Great place. VERY HOT IN AUGUST! We stayed in the Woody tent. Very nice place to “glamp” but make sure that the temps for your stay is reasonable as there is no AC and we literally burned out 2 fans during our stay! I would recommend this and/or the teepee to be booked either in early spring or later fall time frame. Wish we were told when we booked. Otherwise a great time & great staf

Great stay! Well maintained campground, very friendly staff and clean bathrooms/showers. We will come back! I would recommend to bring a multi outlet power strip for cabin and mosquito repellent!

The front office staff was super nice and helpful. I was surprised though that people were not wearing masks. Our room in the tipi was very clean. I was dissappointed though that I had to per person for 3 people, but only one bed wa made up? Why charge the extra fee if you are not going to prepare the area for that many people?

Small cabins do not have air conditioning. It was almost 100° when we checked in. I was shocked, especially since I have stayed there in a deluxe and it had A/C. Rough night for us all.

We stayed in the Sundance cabin, it was very nice. We enjoyed the playground and the swimming pool. It was the perfect location for hiking and seeing the dinosaur bones.

Edith, at the front desk, was very rude to the point of being mean. And she lied to us. Other than her, which was completely unnecessary, our experience was good. I explained everything to the manager, yet, felt I needed to still make the complaint more formal. Edith has no business working in any capacity of customer service. We may never return because of her.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are sad to hear you had an unpleasant experience with our workamper. We believe she has now changed her demeaner and that there should be no other issues regarding rudeness. As for her lying, I would need specifics. We do not tolerate lying and again we are sad to hear of this poor experience.

Great stay! Friendly staff, clean facility and location was perfect for all the exploring we did. We did pay for a deluxe cabin and ended up with no hot water heater so showers in our cabin were out. We got a small discount for a single night to compensate a little bit. Thank you so much for the stay we would definitely return!

We stayed in the Woody Tent. Really enjoyed it. The hosts/guest services people were very responsive and friendly. We did not use any of the amenities like horseshoes or the pool, but we enjoyed our deck in the evening. It is about 15mins away from Dinosaur National Monument and in a nice quiet location in the town of Vernal.

This was our second trip to this KOA and we will definitely be back! The staff do a great job keeping everything clean, and are very attentive if you need anything. My family loves it here. The cute dinosaurs everywhere are an added bonus.

We arrived after hours and left fairly early, so did not interact with staff, but directions were left out for us. Clean restrooms, nice playground and activities for you get kids.
