KOA staff was very helpful when we had trouble with a collapsed support for our tent trailer. You guys are awesome.

Pleasant campground with lots of open space. Convenient to Dinosaur Monument. No one in office from 11 to 3, so finding site and backing in are up to the camper.

We got in late and they had our map and site ready. It was super easy. They called us to check in before they closed. Nice touch. We liked the patio next to the site with propane grills. Teepee and Glamping tent also look like a nice option.

The best kept campground we seen on our trip from Louisiana to Montana . The owners are responsive, friendly and very accommodating. We will be staying here again !

The park was neat and clean and easy to access. Even though our site was a back in site, we had no trouble getting in and opening all slides on both sides of our 39’ motorhome. The camp host was very helpful the night we arrived.

We love this KOA. This was our second time to stay here. The staff is friendly and helpful. We love the K-9 Dog Park. Every morning we watch the parade of turkeys on their route. We enjoy deer in the evenings. Centrally located between Flaming Gorge and Dinosaur National Monument. Grounds are meticulously maintained. There is nothing not to like. We will be back Fall 2021.

Great stay; nice sites outside of town. WiFi a bit weak but normal for KOA. Great staff. Good value for higher end sites. Good location to base out of for touring this part of Utah.

Nice accommodations although wifi was inadequate -- not enough band width for even streaming a newscast.

Staff is extremely nice. Nice to see residents in a completely separate area. We were in the back more private area and it was fun seeing the turkeys and deer come through the campsites.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very nicely arranged and clean sites. Good cable and WiFi at sites. Good dog run with grass. Hope to return in future.

Loved this Kampground. Great location and wonderful staff and very clean sites. The ONLY problem I had with this site was barking Dogs. Some inside the park and some outside the park. Otherwise I love this location.

Vernal KOA is a great campground. We didn't use the bathrooms but the grounds were kept clean and the sites were not too close. The office staff was very helpful. Thnaks for a great stay.

They put us in one of the shortest sites on the property - with my trailer at the back end of the site, my truck stuck out across the road in front of us during the unhooking & hookup processes (my rig is a 27 ft travel trailer and a long wheel base crew cab pickup). I do not believe I would use this RV park in the future. The showers were mediocre at best.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are sorry about you not fitting into the site. This was the largest Water/Electric site we have available and trucks usually are parked next to RV. Our full hookup sites are anywhere between 45 to 80 feet long and probably would have been a better choice. Thank you and have a great day.

The spots are small I couldn't get my wheelchair by the Motorhome once it was parked also it is not handicap accessible for the laundry or the store. The camp site was clean and well taken care of and the restrooms were very clean for a KOA but the draw backs for the handicapped are very much inadequate as with most KOA;s I wish they would address this in the future as More handicap travel.

The premium back in sites are great! We had so much room between each other. There were apple trees and the deer would come around every evening. Our issue was not the fault of the campground. There were homes not far away and their numerous dogs howled night and day. Was a good location to see numerous places like Dinosaur National Monument, Flaming Gorge, Fantasy Canyon and a Wildlife Refuge.

We arrived after hours and left fairly early, so did not interact with staff, but directions were left out for us. Clean restrooms, nice playground and activities for you get kids.

Fantastic campground! Very beautiful, very well kept, amazing bathroom and shower area. One of the best campgrounds I've ever been too.
