We had a very relaxing stay at the Vernal KOA! The bathrooms were clean and the staff always friendly and helpful. Great location to enjoy the great outdoors!

The office was warm and friendly upon checking in. We were traveling through and staying just for the one night. The grounds are clean and welcoming. We were very comfortable. Thanks!

Our stay was wonderful due to the customer service provided by Rocky and his staff. The park was kept very clean and the store had anything needed. We rented a jeep and had a great time with that. We appreciated having jeep rental onsite as we were traveling without another vehicle. Again, Thank you to Rocky for seeing that our stay was a great one.

The KOA was nice, clean And friendly. Our only issue was with the town Was that masks were not required so many stores and restaurants had staff with no masks. Not going to stay at a city like that.

The staff was very,very accommodating and made our stay there nothing less than spectacular. We will definitely put Vernal on our places to go back to list. Thank you all very much.

Had a nice time and enjoyed the pool and activities for the grandkids. Not too far to the national park. Dogs also had a fun time.

Little bit of drive to Dinosaur National Monument but not bad. Nice wide spaces near the back of the camp ground.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had an amazing time! The hosts were helpful and friendly. Our kids had a great time at the pool and playground.

We love this KOA. Everything was great except for 2 things . . . there's no shade in spot 14 and all of the grass in that row is really bad, so I docked a star. NOt really grass, more like mowed weeds. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable time

The site had not been raked in a long time. Barely any room between sites though we were in an overnight spot. Bathrooms and showers were good giving those a 7.

I really enjoyed the peace and quiet during my stay. Plenty of activities for everyone from games and ride on rentals to near by sites to visit. Staff here were friendly and very helpful when needed. I would recommend this KOA for the staff alone!

Check in was easy. Clerk had everything ready. She explained the rules and features to me before calling someone to escort us to our site. When we got to the site he told us about the high water pressure which was very helpful. Our stay was a quiet, peaceful stay. Just what we were looking for

We were in a pull thru. The grassy area was a mess, and full of weeds and anthills, not the best for relaxing outside. The patio as they called it was a small piece of concrete with an old timber picnic table that badly needed painting. The roads were dry dirt, and although the staff were friendly, some of them drove thru in their carts at a speed that covered you with dust.

I loved this kampground! Great location, great layout, great facilities, and great staff. It is so close to so many things to do, and the onsite ATV rental was something I tood advantage of and really enjoyed in the surrounding beautiful scenery. I will absolutely return, and give this location my highest rating as a person who has stayed at many KOAs.

I liked this campground. Pool, playground, and facilities nice, closed early. Restrooms were nice. Stayed in the front, so lots of people passing by. Big grassy areas. Staff was nice. Sites were rock and close to level. I would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here before but not on a crowded hot July night. Had a pull-thru slot but EXTREMELY narrow. No fire pit ( 98 so that did not matter) and no table, which we had to ask for. )Neighbor's fire pit was inches from our RV. Asked to move, but told no other spots...tho several remained vacant all night. Some spots in our row were double spots for the same price. Will not stay again!

This was our favorite KOA stop on our trip! Had a great time! No problems with any of the services - even the wifi worked well for us. Enjoyed the playground and pedal-cars! Friendly and helpful staff!

We called on short notice and were treated very nicely and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. This site was very nice. It was a bit noisy with kids, but that is also a blessing to see so many kids having fun. So I'm certainly not "complaining." I would stay there again for sure.

This was our first time to the area. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this KOA and size of the RV sites. It was also very nice that they had information for a number of day trip activities readily available in the office. We’ll definitely come back!

Lots of great shade at our spot which helped it to stay cool even in 93degree heat. Everything well maintained and they did a great job of transferring new people in then out of the campground seamlessly. A little outdated with some of their amenities, but overall a wonderful place for families.

Best WIFI I have used at any campground this summer! My IPhone would not back up for over 3 weeks... because the WIFI connections (including several KOA’s) would occasionally “drop” my device. In Vernal, the phone took 4+ hours (a lot of data) to backup... successfully! Never dropped my device once! Please let all the other KOA’s know the details of your WIFI system! Thank you �

After staying last year for almost a month, we were looking forward to staying again. To our surprised, the management had changed and now they had new rules, vistors were only allowed if they paid $5 to get in. The dog park that our little Ziva and Jasper enjoyed last year, they could not this year because we don't have 'little dogs' and our dogs are not allowed in the dog park.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We appreciate all comments as for the $5 visitor's fee this is typical for most all KOA's. As for pets, we allow all types unless they are agressive regardless of breed or size.

A short stay but a fun one! My 4 year old loved the private swing, and I loved the grill we could use. Everyone was happy!

We love the campground. Was a little disappointed that because a computer glitch it charged me for 2 spots. The gal did refund me all but $10. Not sure I why I was charged that because of a computer error.

We arrived after hours and left fairly early, so did not interact with staff, but directions were left out for us. Clean restrooms, nice playground and activities for you get kids.

Fantastic campground! Very beautiful, very well kept, amazing bathroom and shower area. One of the best campgrounds I've ever been too.
