Favorite KOA we have ever stayed at. Staff was very friendly. Loved the amenities for the kids. Some of the RV sites were a little tight so if you have a big rig would recommend paying a little extra to get one of the bigger sites. Would definitely stay here again.

Wow, we really enjoyed staying at the Vernal KOA. Super fun with FREE mini golf and a photo op with a dinosaur. My wife was impressed with the super clean bathrooms. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This is a lovely RV park with a variety of camping venues and plenty of open green spaces. We loved our shady back-in spot, and we especially enjoyed watching the kids out playing in such a safe environment.

We loved our time here! The campground was nice and clean. The kids loved the playgrounds and movie night. It offered a variety of things to do that made the weekend that much more fun!

Best park ever! Loved the space and open park grass. Perfect location for our needs, accessible to Dinosaur NP and Flaming Gorge. Friendly, helpful staff. One problem: Leveling jacks sank into the uncompacted soil at the rear. Moving forward a couple feet and using jack ground supports was unsuccessful as those sank into the dirt and were destroyed, so we never could get level.

The park was nice and had amenities for kids and adults. We had a blast on our day trips for hiking and sight seeing. Must see- Dinosaur Quarry. We have been traveling for a year and one of our top hikes was in the Vernal area. The dog park had grass and a few obstacles. In addition to the dog park there were several open grass areas. The town of Vernal was very clean and had everything we needed.

This kids loved the playground. The office staff were very kind and accommodating. I loved our large campsite in the loop.

Was given a spot too small for our RV even though we told the length when booking. Spot was impossible to get out of. We suffered trailer damage trying to get out of the spot.

Stayed two nights. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great parking spot Clean and orderly. Good spot width. One of the best KOA parks I have stayed in.

This is the first time I've stayed at the Vernal KOA and I will absolutely be back! The grounds are pretty, and well-kept. The RV sites are amazing, with shade, firepits, picnic tables and ours even had a porch swing! We loved it! We don't have kids, but for those who do, there is a TON of stuff for them to do here. Very impressive.

Such lovely people on staff! Even better than the usual great KOA folks! I'm disabled, and I had a bad fall—staff plugged and unplugged me, checked on me, were friendly and kind and helpful! Plus it's a beautiful place, and I had a great site (well, it's a KOA, so sure ...) .

We arrived after hours and left fairly early, so did not interact with staff, but directions were left out for us. Clean restrooms, nice playground and activities for you get kids.
