Initially we were apprehensive about staying as we had heard many bad things about Koa. This Koa is outstanding! We started out having 2 nights in a basic cabin but it was perfect for what we needed. Then we switched to a tent site which was also lovely. The staff provided excellent customers service and went out of their way to be helpful. Choose a site away from the road as it's noisey

This was our second stay at vernal Kia. My kids love it. The grassy area around our tent site was a perfect way to wind down after a long day. Thanks.

Always a great place to stay. The people in the front office are always very kind and helpful. The bathrooms and showers are cleaned every morning. See you next year...

We were fortunate to get a last-minute tent space for Memorial weekend. The office staff was super friendly, the site and restrooms were clean, and even though there were a lot of people, it was peaceful.

We desired a change of tent site. They were very friendly and helpful to understand our desires, and find us a better, open site. They delivered our fire wood that we purchased! They were also very helpful with maps, things to see in the area. This KOA has a mini-golf, playground with slides, swings, etc. and bouncing pad for those young at heart :)

The campgrounds are immaculate! The bathrooms were super clean, dumpster area wasn't overflowing. All the amenities were available. It was an awesome stay!

Nice place to stay. Bathrooms are clean, and facilities are taken care of well. The only downside is that the camp sites are a bit small and there isn't a lot of background noise from streams, etc, so any sounds from neighboring sites tend to carry.

The location is clean and well kept. Easy access to so many great outdoor adventures. When concerns or questions arose the staff were very helpful. Had car trouble while there visiting and the KOA staff were very helpful in extending out stay and making sure we were good to go.

Our stay at Vernal / Dinosaurland KOA was perfect. The grounds and bathrooms very clean. Not to mention the staff. The manager and the front desk attended was extremely helpful and eager to help us. Thanks for an amazing weekend. Oh, Don't forgot to rent the electric scooters. They are a great way to get to the Moonshine Arch and back. Make sure go all the way until see the sign for the Arch.

We enjoyed our stay at the KOA campground in Vernal. The park was well maintained, had a very clean bathhouse, and a quiet location. There was recreation for kids and camp sites to accomodate various camping styles (cabins, RV, tent with electric, etc.).The staff was friendly and helpful. We will stay here again!

We had a great night's rest, what a nice place. I rolled in just after dark in my van with my big white dog. The fella that checked me in was awesome, as was the staff member that I talked Pyrenees dogs with in the morning. The grounds and facilities are very well kept, with many happy campers.

We absolutely loved our stay! The bathrooms were extremely clean. The whole park was beautiful!! Everyone in the office was very friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about how much we loved it, and how impressed we were!

Facilities could use some work; men's restroom paper towel dispenser desperately needs replacement, you have to pump it over 20 times just to get a couple inches. The cleaning of the restrooms could use some work also. Also you are given the COVID disclaimer, but I did not see a single employee wearing a mask.

My husband needed a quick weekend get away, we also hadn't gone camping all year so we needed to plan something ASAP! We always pick KOA because of the friendly service, clean park and great prices! The park manager Kathy was great! Always there to help us with what ever we needed! From fire work to getting a cold drink the friendly staff was there to help! We love KOA!

Great hosts. Clean bathrooms-the whole campground was very well taken care of. Location is close to dinosaur national monument and Flaming Gorge. We rented an ATV and had a fun time. The only down side were the barking dogs way too early in the morning. (Sounded like they might live nearby and weren’t with a family at the campground). Thank you for a great weekend!

The folks working here were great. The bathrooms were well kept. My recommendation is to chance the quiet hours to start at 10 pm instead of 11 because there was a group nearby that blasted their music until after 11, and that was very frustrating.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, and was surprised at the amenities there. We camped at an tent site but may have to try the trailer site on our next visit.

What a great set up! I want to come back with my son and stay in the tee pee �ϋ� So much to see and do in this area! Lots of good BOY stuff to do. Boy moms understand this struggle sometimes. :)

On a motorcycle trip and stopped for the night. Enjoyed a swim in the outdoor pool. Enjoyed our overnight stay.

Great place to stay, facilities are great so is the staff. Clean place, has a nice swimming pool, a movie night was offered to guests. . Kathy made our check in easy, she was very friendly and helpful. Definitively will go back. We enjoyed Vernal and staying at KOA was a plus. Thank you!

Friendly staff, clean campground, clean showers. The tent area is large and open. There is quite a bit of road noise from the highway.

Website advertised tent spaces as grassy. I booked a tent site for one tent and two people using the website. I initially was give a Site large enough for 3-5 tents and mostly dirt. When I returned to the office to request a grassy site, Julie (and her husband) were extremely accommodating.

The first night people were screaming until at least 3 AM. They were across the huge field area and we could still hear them. Many others were very loud well past curfew. There needs to be someone stopping this excessive noise. I’ve never camped somewhere with this much noise. The second night one site was smoking pot and nothing was done about it. Terrible experience!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are sad you had such a poor experience. We have after hours phone for issues such as this and wish you would have called. We do not tolerate such behaviors and would promptly address such issues. We also do not allow marijuana or its use on the campgrounds. Again we wish you would have called

We arrived after hours and left fairly early, so did not interact with staff, but directions were left out for us. Clean restrooms, nice playground and activities for you get kids.
