Campground Reviews

The bright spot here is the staff. They are very accommodating and maintain the park well. Other than that, it’s in the middle of a neighborhood, a fair amount of longer term renters, and tends to be very dusty due to the area. It’s ok as a Journey but won’t stay multiple nights.

Was good stay

Manager was rude, locals tried to warn us. Boy were they right! Also, was told they make long term exceptions for travel nurses. Until you show up, then “per corporate” they can no longer do so… even paying the expensive daily rate!! They didn’t want our money, so we packed up and found a beautiful spot elsewhere. On the river and HUGE lots with friendly and welcoming management

Just a quick stop-over. Easy in & out. Nice facilities. Very friendly.

One nite in site D19. Easy parking in mostly level site. Park was clean. Utilities were good. Our site had a BRIGHT street light directly over our trailer, which required covering all our windows. There was some reasonable road noise.

Large sites. And really appreciate the signs on the roads helping get to the Campground.

We were traveling through with an unplanned route and we researched all day for a stay between Visalia and Fresno. We were traveling for a funeral. so, yes, unplanned. Anyway, we didn't find anything in our price range or it was not a safe area. We pushed through to Visalia and it was worth it. Clean sites, friendly staff and quiet. Thank you. Don Ayers

We needed a one night stop over, so this KOA worked well. The street noise and trains are noisy. We have 2 rescure little dogs and we always worried about their anxiety and barking. But when we took a walk there were several large dogs that were aggressive and lunging at their pens and dog fence. Scary for us and our pups that did not bark.. I like KOA and have a membership. Ok for one night.

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. There was a small issue with the fire pit that was handled in no time flat. The bathrooms were kept at a nice temperature as it was pretty cold during the night. The staff including maintenance folks exceeded our expectations for great customer service.

I was surprised on how old it looked. Train horn kept waking me up, noise from trucks backing up. Was NOT my favorite place to stay.

A quick overnight stay The site had clean BRs and the grounds were kept up

All amenities are conveniently close to campsites. Staff is very friendly. I arrived late but had a reservation and my check-in information was waiting for me at the entrance.

We stay at a lot of KOA Campgrounds. This was not up to me the high standard of other KOAs. It was more like an unkept Mobile Home Park.

The people were so nice there. We stayed in the deluxe cabin and it was sooo clean. There are many stores, food and activities near by with just a short drive. The drive to the sequioa was about 1hr and 15 min. That was the only down part but once we made it , it was amazing. The overall stay at the KOA was awesome.

The person checking us in was very nice and helpful. The location of the campground was in the middle of a sketchy neighborhood, and the campground is not gated, which made it concerning taking the dogs out late at night.

This campground should not be a KOA. I’ve come to trust that a KOA is of a better quality. This was more like a homeless camp. People that lived there had trash everywhere in their site. Won’t ever go back there and makes me question the quality of other KOA’s I might book online.

Perfect pit stop. Parked, ate, slept, showered, and hit the road. It was quiet, clean, and the staff were great.

I don’t know what is wrong with some of you. The smell. You do realize there are stock yards all around the area. KOA can’t control that. Also a rooster? It’s not on the property how can they control that. The ladies showers were great. The staff friendly and helpful. Cabins clean. I would stay here again. In fact I will be in a week or so because they are very accommodating.

Old Old Park. A Hint of sewer now and then. Way off the beaten track, not convenient. Way too many monthly rentals in there in old old rv's. Lots of junk around them also.

Beautiful cabin! Very clean! Very clean restrooms! Heated! & staff was very friendly! 10 minutes away from city; gas food restaurant, but very secluded and quiet!

Convenient stop, but the camping cabin smelled terrible of cleaning agents and we could not escape it! Had to wash anything that we’d taken into the cabin the next day you o remove the smell. Loud traffic, loud music into the night and the sewer smell out doors was over powering. Workers we polite.

"We recently stayed in a KOA campground in Twin Falls, Idaho. We had a TV and refrigerator which was nice to have. We thought that was standard for all the cabins. We use the KOA campgrounds as a stopping point when going to the National Parks more than 6 hours away.

It was just fine.

Campground itself is unremarkable but fine as a stop over during your travels. Staff was nice.I certainly would NOT set a base camp here for the parks. Its located in the middle of a residential area with a paper mill and other industrial complexes nearby. The noise was outrageous and the smell was horrific. At first we thought there was something wrong with the plumbing/sewer. Made a quick exit.

Really nice staff. Clean and pleasant sites. A little too pricy, which most campground are.

Very pleasant park to stop at. I like the “park” feeling and laid back vibes. Staff is really helpful. I’ll certainly stop again.

Winter camping with a campfire in a KOA cabin is the best. Nice campground with clean bathrooms and lots of room around the cabin.

Very nice and clean large cabin with enough room for all the kids and a privet bedroom for the adults, awesome deck and for pit. Also the park manager Desy was very friendly and helpful!

Would say zero if it was available. The sewer cap was off. The smell was atrocious. There was garbage in our our campsite site from the previous campers and more trash around us on the roads and empty camp sites.

My stay was good. The sewer hookups need repair.

Very nice. We were greeted with friendly smiling faces. It means a lot when you have been driving all day. I definitely recommend staying there. Will definitely stay there on our next trip.

Great deluxe cabin! Woody, sturdy furniture, forest vibe. The area around the KOA is kinda sketchy. The KOA area itself is mainly flat unshaded surface, many RVs which I felt are there for a long term stay (some even have gardens next to them). Overall nice location to drive to Sequoia National Park (now only north entrance is open, 1.5 drive).

Nice starting point to our journey. Nice staff and after hours check in and check out was super easy. Nice gravel level pull thru site we stayed at. Check the site for all the amenities they have its really a good price for what you get.
