Pros: Clean, quiet, near a lot of restaurants and stores, near Sequioa National Park, polite and nice staff, clean pool Cons: Bad wifi, A/C does not work well when it's very hot outside i.e. 90's and up, no activities for kids, smell of cow manure in the A.M. All in all we had a good experience, the facility was okay. Recommended if you are visiting the Sequioa National Park.

There are several things that need changing at this KOA. In the morning, it smells like chicken houses are close by. In our campsite, there was a large flowering tree that dropped white pieces all over everything very time the wind blew. This tree also attracted a lot of bees. It need to be removed. Lots of landscaping needs to be done. Bathrooms need update

The place overall is a little run down.The workers there were rude through out our stay.We have been to other KOAs with exceptional service, this is NOT one of them..National park is 50 minutes away, which I thought was misleading with KOA name Visalia/Sequoia National Park.

We rented a cabin for an overnight going to Yosemite. The AC was only circulating hot air from the outside, so we opened the window for cross breeze. The screen had been ripped out and there were too many bugs to leave it open - a hot and miserable night until the AC compressor kicked on at 2 AM. BTW, our neighbor's cabin's AC worked just fine. KOA refunded our money. Otherwise KOA was good.

The koa campground was ugly..one of the ugliest we've ever been at. Plus it was so hot in the cabin that we left one night early. Couldn't take the heat. We've stayed at a bunch of different KOA's and this was by far the worst one ever! Think twice before you stay at this one! Horrible!

KOA Visalia was smaller and less attractive to other KOA camps. Cabin was fine but pool terribly old and cracking. Pots and pans in cabin were poor condition, areas looked depressed. Small store needs more items and wall A/C didn’t cool entire cabin. Stay was fine otherwise. Would return just not Ideal. Thanks!

Cabin great! Would prefer smaller, cheaper cabins just for two people; would be far more likely to stay more often in this were the case. The bathrooms were not up to the usual KOA standard which was a disappointment.

Employees were friendly and the campground was clean but it was quite far from the national park and the air conditioning in the camp cabins could not keep up with the summer heat in Visalia! The location also wasn't the greatest.

I was very disappointed of how the site looked so dry Grass dead nothing like the website. I stayed in a Cabin and the cabin was ok no linen or towels available which they do let you know ahead of time but so inconvenient. I was happy to know that bathroom and shower was right next to my cabin but then was so upset with the fact that the bathroom was Unisex and the bathroom didn’t lock so unsaf

Liked the facility, my girls found that there was no toilet paper in one of the restrooms. Would it be possible to create another facility to eliminate the coed restroom as it now exists.

Overall, a great KOA. It has lots of trees for shade. They were very accommodating - we were joining another family, so when I booked the reservation, I made a comment to put us close to the other family if possible. The KOA placed us in side-by-side Kabins, so we had an adjoining area to cook and hang out for the evening. Great place!

Many others have commented that the camp is ful of cats. I was concerned about this so I was surprised & happy that this was not the case! I saw one cat. A few cats makes sense because they keep the campground free from mice! Also someone said it was smelly! This is true some of the time, however it seems more like a propane smell. We were very pleased with our accommodations!

The KOA was clean, well maintained and the staff was very friendly. The only problem was the WiFi was not very good and is you stay in cabin you will need to bring a power strip as there is only one outlet in them and one of the spots is taken up by the plug for the air-conditioning.

Easy check in and out. Cabin was good. Could use more outlets and a couple of the lights did not work. Was reported on checkout to be fixed. Cabin was as expected near the bathroom and shower.

Nice place - the deluxe cabin was perfect. The kindly turned on the AC prior to our arrival so it wouldn't be more than 100 degrees! Friendly staff!

Finding it was not easy, was more in town then expected. Restrooms/showers were not clean. Feral cats everywhere.Never seen one actual worker. Cabin has only been swept out not actually cleaned. Beds are terrible. Supporting beam for swing is cracked so not safe. Definitely not the what you would expect from a KOA. I welcome the owners to stay at the San Diego KOA and see what a nice one is.

Very nice, enjoy the quietness and very friendly staff. Wish that every cabin to have their own toilet and shower that would be 100% satisfactory, I said this because I have an elderly and I have to drove her to the bathroom. But I enjoyed.

Cabin that slept 6 was not outfitted for 6 - there weren’t 6 dishes of each type and only 4 bath towels and 2 wash cloths. Linens for bed were old.

Fraudulently listed as Sequoia National park. Should be changed to just Visalia KOA. One of the long term tenants just walked up onto our site and literally just stood there staring at us for twenty minutes and then asked if the stray cat that was walking around was ours and then proceeded to walk up to our cabin patio to pet our leashed dog without asking. It was a complete invasion of privacy.

It is shocking that this is a KOA. It is a trailer park, with a few cabins and tent sites. The place was covered with feral cats, walking through campsites and under cars. The entire place smelled like an outhouse. It is the worst KOA I’ve ever stated in and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The cabin is clean and updated. It has all the amenities necessary. We very much enjoyed our short stay and would definitely come back.

One night in clean cabin with electricity. Being a small KOA in a residential neighborhood, there was some street noise along with chickens & a rooster. The bathrooms / showers were clean, and the shower water was hot. The staff was friendly and helpful. The wifi was acknowledged by my devices, but the signal strength was too low to even log on to get my email. Plan on being unplugged here.

Nice starting point to our journey. Nice staff and after hours check in and check out was super easy. Nice gravel level pull thru site we stayed at. Check the site for all the amenities they have its really a good price for what you get.
