Super clean and well maintained. Best KOA we have stayed at in a long time. Only issue was road noise and that could not be helped! Clean restrooms, showers ,great laundry and dog park. Will stay again.

Campground was very average with a small pool. Office afternoon hours are 12-7 and we got there at 6:30pm but nobody there to assist us. People were asking each other what site to use since no office staff or golf cart people to lead them. So we just all parked wherever we wanted. We didn''t like giving out our phone numbers so that KOA can communicate by text instead of being present.

We were able to easily pull in, NOT unhook our fifth wheel, hook all services up, easily take down in the morning, and be on the road in no time at all. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only down side was that it was very windy here. So be prepared for wind. For those in tents the tent pads are well protected from the westerly winds by a high fence. We would stop here again.

This is a great place to stop if you're going east or west. However there is a great little winery called Shilo winery. It is 4 miles on a dirt road off the freeway. But worth the time if you have it.

Very clean and nice campground. Nice sized spaces. A clean dog area. Easy on & off of Rt 70. Would definitely return there .

Parked us in a wet site. Wet did not hamper setting up. Thought park might be full on a Saturday night. Rained and hailed overnight. Was disappointed to see at least half the dry sites unoccupied. Park was well kept. Easy and easy out.

The queen bed in the cabin was broken I guess. My fiance and I kept sliding into the middle. Also our water was locked with . a padlock. The young man at the front so we could use other water points at the other sites. He said he called the boss to let them know about it. But he never got back to me about it. Customer Service and inspection of facilities needs work.

i have been a loyal Wakeeney KOA customer for years. We always made this our final stop before going home. Due to mechanical issues our schedue was off, but we still wanted to stay here so we showed up about noon. Instead of being thanked for being a repeat customer, I was scolded for coming in before their std check in time. They have just lost me as a customer. I wont ever be back.

First site we’ve used this trip that was perfectly level! Woohoo!!!! Sites not on top of each other and had grass areas for dogs. Great!

It was nice to have the heating turned on upon my arrival. I had requested it. I was disappointed that there was no hot water in the store as I could not make any hot drink in the morning. The trucker plaza near by and mc Donald’s i want to ovoid on my travels. Otherwise, all was ok.

Overall the stay was satisfactory. The laundry room was fantastic, we were able to catch up on our laundry, before continuing on west. Am glad they were located where they are, as we were exhausted when we arrived. Staff was welcoming and friendly. We would stay there again.

Hard place to get to and and about 200 ft from rt 80 westbound. Our water would not hook up the electric was upside down and could not thread the waste tube adp.

They are obviously making improvements to the property - added a basketball court and something else was still in the works since our last stay.

Pull throughs were spacious, however the one we were in was soft, levelers must've sunk 6 inches into gravel. Everything else was great.

The camp ground was in great shape. Grounds were well groomed and bathrooms ckean. I originally booked a tent space but a Wakeeney staff member called me on the morning of my stay to offer me a cabin due to strong storms predicted that evening. I was grateful to be in the cabin when the hail and rain came through.

Overnight stay. Very convenient stop for us on our journeys to and from our Spring and Summer trips. Nice campground, sites are spacious with grass in between sites. Close to I 70, but traffic noise does not bother us and traffic definitely slows down during the night.

We received 5 star treatment from the owners of WaKeeney KOA. Shortly after we arrived at the campground our satellite antenna froze halfway during deployment. The owners provided both tools and technical support so that we could get the antenna into a position enabling us to travel safely the next day.

Stayed in a kamping cabin. Friendly host. Clean restrooms. Clean cabin. Will definitely stay again when passing through.
