Everything was perfect! The people working are all super friendly and very helpful! It’s small but perfect! They are MUCH nicer than the people at the KOA in Hocking Hills!

Decent campground and nice staff but the office and Men's restroom smelled like there was a sewage backup the entire stay and the pool was dirty.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There was no mention to the office about possible sewage in the men's restroom. There was no back up. The pool was kept open for Appreciation Weekend and was maintained up to the last day it was open.

Always a great time in the Wapakoneta KOA. Courtesy is a good way to describe there helpful staff. We have never been disappointed here!

Sites too close together especially if you and your neighbors have slides and awnings. Friendly staff and clean.

I loved everything about the campsite! It is clean and well-managed. The text message notifications are super convenient! The bathroom near the office reeked of sulfur though and it seemed to come from the sink water.

This has become our "home" campground, even though it's not the closest to our home. The grounds are very well kept, the store is always stocked and more than anything, the staff is so friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be coming back again and again!

Staff is amazing, Kevin and Karen are top notch. I think Ryan is listening to his managers and guests making investments in improvements. We have noticed even the smallest improvements every visit. The gravel paths(roads) are good, weeds sprayed, grass is always cut and trimmed, speed bumps are a welcome addition in my opinion. Pool updates are coming in the next few days after closing I hear too

Diverse activities. Appreciate their keeping the pool open after Labor Day. Attentive staff. Appreciated the texting communication. Probably one of my best overall experiences with KIA.

We had a really small, undesirable site. I’d booked months earlier and thought we’d have a nicer site, which we usually do.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

A review of your reservation revealed that you made the internet reservation and chose a water/elec buddy site for your Labor Day stay. Previous stays were on Full hook pull through sites (one of which was a patio site) which would have been more comfortable since you were not camping with friends

Very nice and helpful employees. Very clean and quiet. Felt very safe. The perfect location to access many of the sightseeing destinatiins. We will definately stay again.

Great stop on the way south. Everyone working there is so friendly. They had a huge field out back for the dogs and two dog park areas and the first KOA I have been to with a whole game room for entertainment. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in Wapakoneta. The staff was amazing and accommodating. The park was very clean. We really appreciated the newly added speed bumps. It helped to control the speed and we felt more comfortable with our children walking around the grounds.

We thought the campground in whole was wonderful but the pull thru sites were very small we couldn't even set up our cornhole game or put our ez up up we felt like we were eating dinner in our next door neighbors living room they were that packed together. But again the grounds were clean and well kept and the bathrooms and showers were very clean and well maintained.

The back in sites would suit your plans for setting up games at your site. They are wider and provide more green space for your family activities. Schedule early for Labor Day - we are always full!

the campground itself was very nice...we had a pull through spot (12) and we felt all of the pull throughs are way too close together. We felt like we were on top of our neighbors. other than that it was ok

We always enjoy our time at Wapakoneta KOA!! Very clean and friendly staff. Been camping here for 10+ years! From tenting to travel trailer!!

The park is very nice. Great staff. Lots of things to do with a great location. The only problem is that the pull through spaces are to close together. My one slide-out was almost touching my neighbors awning. Really made you feel pressed in.

We wanted to stay near our famiky who lives in Bluffton. They had a game in Lima which was only 25 min away from the campgrounds. It was a nice pkace and lots of fun events to participate in too!

Karen & Kevin were amazing. Very understanding about an incident that could have ruined our whole weekend. Very clean & prompt with service. Ice cream was awesome. We will definitely be back again.

Staff was outstanding! Area was extremely clean. Sites were terribly small though. We were very concerned about how close the fire ring on the next site was to the front side of our RV.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This site is 75' long and the fire rings are placed more near the end (and by the gravel road if other reviews were read). There should be no problem with fire rings being located too close. Thank you for the compliment about the staff and park. That information will be passed on!

Park is clean and nice. Front desk lady was cheerful and welcoming. Your manager , Kevin , is rude. Second time I have stayed there and found him offense. I’m quite sure this will go no further.

Mr. Kress, I'm sorry that you cannot follow the posted speed limit. In the future if you cannot follow rules within the confines of our campground please pass us by and both of us will be much happier. By the way, the campground owner was working with me the day in question and fully supports me.

This is a super cute campground very well maintained, I love the gas grills you can reserve on some sites and the comfy seating with umbrellas. They have dog areas where you're dog can come off leash to use the restroom. A must stay if your passing through. We came here on a trip to Georgia and our truck ended up breaking down and was towed to the dealer nearby the owners were so accommodating to assist us in any way we were able to secure extra days while waiting for repair.
