Beautiful place and very friendly staff. Only problem was we did tent camping and we were right next to a freeway which made sleeping difficult.

I loved everything about the campsite! It is clean and well-managed. The text message notifications are super convenient! The bathroom near the office reeked of sulfur though and it seemed to come from the sink water.

Karen & Kevin were amazing. Very understanding about an incident that could have ruined our whole weekend. Very clean & prompt with service. Ice cream was awesome. We will definitely be back again.

Everything was great about staying here except for the shower water. It smelled like eggs. But the hospitality was second to none. Everyone that we ran into that worked there was amazing. And it was a very clean park also. Very well taken care of.

My thoughts at this KOA location: too close to highway so it was too noisy and I couldn't sleep/you can't park your vehicle right next to your tent site so I had to walk back and forth to get my stuffs and it was annoying but the staff lady was nice and friendly

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The reason for not parking your vehicle next to your tent was the heavy rain that we had that day. Normally, parking in the grass at the site is not a problem at all. Parking in the nearby gravel prevented a muddy mess up to the sites. Mother Nature strikes again!

I have been wanting to go camping for awhile now but there always seems to be something that gets in the way. This weekend was free, so a few days prior I booked a trip to the Wapakoneta KOA. It was super simple to book, and the place is awesome. The property is very well taken care of and was a great place to stay. The owners are super nice too! I would definitely recommend this KOA to anyone.

Everyone was so nice. The staff was super attentive and helped with everything we could ever need. I would rate 5 stars but the water in the bathroom was really bad, so bring fresh water! Other than that we had so much fun and will be returning!

The rotten egg smell during my shower made me want to PUKE. I had to continually had to resign into Wifi. I have stayed in KOA's all over the US and this one was the worst.

Not every campground is for everyone. As a tent camper, you have choices and we are glad that you tried us out. The well water is tested monthly and it always passes with flying colors!

Managers were super nice and let me switch sites so I didn’t have to be in the grass in the middle of a night long torrential downpour. �ϋ��ϋ�

Beautiful campground. Worse location I have ever stayed in a campground. Interstate traffic and train traffic doesn't make for a pleasant camping/sleeping experience. Won't be back.

Wonderful time at this campground. The staff, two guys, at checkin were friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back! Beautiful grounds. Only negative was traffic noise from the highway.

People are very friendly. Firewood was not seasoned nor in bundles. Good for a stop over while traveling but not one you would want to spend a week at.

Spaces are very close together: picnic table was right next to neighbors sewer connection. Our wooden platform had several nails sticking out and a rotten broken plank. Service tech rudely snapped it’s because people drive over it. Playground had rusty broken connection and was not very save. The road noise was significant. Bathrooms & swimming pool were clean, & office staff very friendly.

Thank you for the kind word about the staff. We work hard to keep the campground safe and enjoyable for all of our guests. If you see something that is unsafe, be sure to let the staff know as soon as you can so that it can be addressed/corrected in a timely manner.

Had a great time. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and our tent site was very nice. I was maybe expecting more of a larger park feel as that's what I've seen at other KOAs, but I was unaware of the differences between the Holiday, Journey, and normal KOA parks. Either way, still had a great experience. Everyone was very nice.

This is a super cute campground very well maintained, I love the gas grills you can reserve on some sites and the comfy seating with umbrellas. They have dog areas where you're dog can come off leash to use the restroom. A must stay if your passing through. We came here on a trip to Georgia and our truck ended up breaking down and was towed to the dealer nearby the owners were so accommodating to assist us in any way we were able to secure extra days while waiting for repair.
